Chereads / Bully-guard! [BL] / Chapter 36 - I know that I would kill in that situation.

Chapter 36 - I know that I would kill in that situation.

Minnie: You're not investigating?

Rushil: Radka said she doesn't need my help, I don't think there's anything I can do to help, I don't like investigations anyway.

So I'm here doing what I know best, cooking dinner for myself because I doubt that Radka has time to have dinner with me.

Minnie: Maybe you should come have dinner with your son then!

Nikolai's been on edge ever since director Cliff visited him minutes ago...apparently they canceled the whole film altogether.

-Before Rushil could reply to her, he saw Radka going inside the kitchen.

Rushil: Minnie can I call you back later? I might have a situation here... and no, I don't think I can join Nikolai for dinner tonight.

Minnie: okay, take care.

*Beeb*

"Radka... you're back home? I thought you're looking for Seong-min?"

"I was...And Fuck Flint, I will kill him, I'll kill Flint the moment I see him."

"You can't Rad, When we find Flint, we're handing him over to the police, we have already agreed on this...And we're NOT killing him."

"He's a serial killer Rushil And he got Jin's sister on top of that!"

"Just because Flint's giving you a hard time to find him, it's not enough of an excuse to kill him.

And I'm sorry to say that, but last time I checked, you ended lives too Honey." Rushil replied sarcastically, as he sat on one of the kitchen chairs.

"Your humor is noted...but, I made a promise that if any of those boys ever came back into Nikolai's life, And cause him or his loved ones harm...I will eliminate them for good." Radka replied.

"Speaking of promises, Honey...You made a promise this morning to Nikolai remember? you said you'll find Seong-min before midnight, which means before today ends.

It's 4pm already and there's no sign of her, the girls haven't picked up Flint's trail yet, and if you're talking to me right now instead of working...it means you're at a dead end." Rushil pointed out.

"Sometimes you make me forget you're my husband...Anyways, you're right, I am at dead end.

And I think the reason why I haven't found a clue yet, is that one of my girls may have lied to me." Radka replied.

"Lied?" Rushil questioned, "You mean one of the girls betrayed you?" He added.

"Flint has probably gotten rid of any electronic device that we can use to track his signal, he also didn't use any credit cards or something of this sort...A smart move from his side.

There is no clear evidence that he's still in the town, but there's also no evidence that he left so based on that, I went the old fashioned way to investigate, I relied on my girls.

I Asked every girl of mine in town that wasn't Working on protecting Nikolai, whether they've, seen, heard of, interacted with Flint or even Seong-min during last night and today." Radka said.

"Which means there was only few girls left that could've seen something, because most of your girls in town, Are working on protecting Nikolai.

You've set some girls in his house, and a bunch in the surrounding area of it, there's even a group of girls that you've placed today around Miss Kim's House...how many girls you left without a task?" Rushil asked.

"7 girls to be specific, each girl at different checkpoint in the town, they weren't working on anything related to Nikolai." Radka explained.

"Let me guess, all seven came Back negative, none of them knew anything useful about Flint or Seong-min?

That's like impossible! there should have been at least one girl who knows something." Rushil replied surprised.

"That's what I think...One of them has to be a liar and my guess would fall on the one girl who decided to leave Town this early morning.

Earlier, I went to her apartment to personally question her since she rarely ever leaves the place, only to find her already gone without my permission."

"The sniper girl? Lydia Brooks? the one who lives on the 12 floor of her building? that girl actually left her apartment for something other than a mission from you?

Lydia even gets her own food, grocery and cosmetics delivered to her doorstep? why would she leave?" Rushil questioned.

"See! even you can't believe it!

Because I couldn't physically question her, I did it through a phone call, and her reason for leaving the apartment is that she wanted a vacation, that she wanted to break from being a socially anxious girl." Radka replied, "I interviewed her myself when you picked her for work years ago.

The girl is diagnosed and confirmed to be suffering from serious Anxiety, social anxiety.

And she personally said that she will not be likely to leave her apartment, unless it's a job or an emergency." Rushil replied.

"That's why I came here baby.

Rushil, I need your help because most the girls I picked, have been interviewed by you...the girls see you as their therapist, including Lydia.

You have the file on every girl, and you know everything about them, I believe you might be the only person left who can help Seong-min.

is there anything other than this obvious vacation lie, that would suggest this girl has lied to me?" Radka asked.

"I hate to disclose very intimate information about the girls to you, you're not someone I should give these information to.

But considering the facts, I'm pretty sure there is something that could tie Miss Brooks to Flint, Although I don't remember exactly what, I need to see her file first.

And You have to be more convincing if you need these information, give me a reason." rushil said.

"Seong-min's life is in your hands! what other reason you need?!" Radka replied.

Sighing, "Let me get my laptop, I'll see what I can do...I'm sure Lydia has a justified reason for lying if she did." Rushil said.

...Few minutes later...

Rushil began reading out loud "Lydia Brooks age 24, white female, average built and height.

Orphaned, her parents died when she started highschool, leaving her with a much younger sister.

Her father used to be a remarkable sniper for hire, and she took the family business into her hands after his death.

At some point during her last year in highschool, her younger sister was found dead, and it became Lydia's life mission to find who did it."

"Did Lydia find her sister's killer?" Radka asked.

"She did surprisingly! despite all of her problems that would have made it impossible for her to investigate on her own, Lydia did find who killed her sister, and the person happens to be a serial killer too... Lydia's name and contribution to the case were made anonymous based on her request, that's why not many people know about this.

The killer was visiting town when he stumbled upon Lydia's little sister, when Lydia acquired his identity and found evidence, she got him arrested.

it all happens shortly before she became your girl." Rushil explained.

"And yet I didn't know about it, you didn't tell me about this." Radka said.

"Because it didn't matter Radka.

You picked Lydia for her amazing shooting skills, Lydia was carrying out contracts before you hired her and you liked her work, so you asked me to interview her and I'm pretty sure we had an agreement, that I wouldn't tell you everything about the girls, but only the information you needed." Rushil replied.

"At the time, All you told me was that she's Single and never been in a relationship before, also Lydia has absolutely no close friends and family members left, which makes her flexible and less likely to betray me for anyone else.

In exchange for her service and loyalty, I hired her, giving her a job because she had No college degree, was an underpaid illustration Artist on the internet and occasionally a voice actress too...she couldn't work in an office job or any job that would've forced her to interact with lots of people, and she needed Money.

And to be fair she is a pretty good sniper... Lydia never missed a target." Radka said.

"I don't think she is friendless, Lydia at least has one friend, and guess who?

According to the information I gathered about her, before her sister's murder, Lydia was and still is a big True crime fan.

She was also a student at the same highschool as Nikolai...Sounds familiar?" Rushil said.

"She must have known Flint, acquainted with him at least!" Radka replied.

"You said he is a ViewTuber who specializes in solving crimes the police have a hard time solving, And my guess she asked our serial killer to help her find her serial killer." Rushil suggested.

"Which means Flint has possibly collected his favor back, Lydia's covering for him!" Radka realized, her face twisted in anger.

She hurriedly left the kitchen and a worried Rushil quickly followed her.

"Radka, I know what Lydia has done, may seem unacceptable, but please...

You gotta promise me, that you're not going to hurt her." Rushil said.

"She allowing a serial killer to possibly do to Seong-min, what another serial killer did to her sister, that's an act only a monster can do." Radka replied as she walked towards the front door.

Grabbing her arm, "Radka...The girls, they see you as their savior! you pulled each and every girl out of difficult situations!

Family situations, love situations, money situations...These girls look up to you, and they care about you enough, that they are willing to die for you.

Lydia possibly doesn't even know who Seong-min is to you, and if she knew she probably wouldn't have helped Flint with Seong-min.

So please, just this once...spare her life and Flint's too.

Let these people be prosecuted by a judge and a jury not you, you're not a god, please you're human." Rushil said desperately.

"All this years, whatever you saw me do Rushil, you never protested this much.

What is it about Lydia? why are you protecting her? you didn't even want to tell me what you knew about her?" Radka asked.

"There's nothing that ties me with that girl Other than the fact that I'm human like her, if you would be put in a situation like this, don't you think you would have done the unjustifiable just to get justice?" Rushil replied.

"I know that I would kill in that situation." Radka answered.

"Lydia could have killed that serial killer too...he took her sister and murdered her, but no.

When knowing her sister's killer identity, Lydia didn't kill him instead, she handed him over to the police so other victims can get Justice.

She's not entirely selfish, she is not out for Revenge, she wanted Justice unlike you.

what you're after is blind Revenge Radka, You're not looking for justice honey, I know you!

I've been married to you and I know that every single time you walk out of the door with this look on your face, somebody is going to die.

i never spoke against it before, because I believe that most of the people you were to kill, deserved it.

but Lydia Brooks doesn't, and Flint might deserve to die, but by the lethal injection...not a bullet from your gun." Rushil replied, "Let me come with you...so I make sure that you won't kill them." he added.

"Fine, under one condition, if we found Seong-min alive then both of them will live.

But if she's already dead or badly injured, disfigured or suffered any significant damage, I will kill them both." Radka replied.

Breathing a sigh of relief, "Thank you...I'm sure that nothing bad has happened yet, I have a good feeling Seong-min is alive.

Stay here, let me get ready quick and we'll leave together." Rushil said before he hurried to his bedroom.
