Sherry gets home, exhausted and famished. And as soon she gets home she says no well having a feast all by himself and she became furious.
Sherry: Mr Noel What are you doing?
Noel: I'm.. I'm hunting elephant can't you see what I'm doing or what does it look like I'm doing
Sherry: You're eating?
Noel: Exactly!
Sherry: Why?
Noel: What do you why? Why did you think people eat?
Sherry: You....! (she walked closer to him) Fine you can eat. But first answer me. Why didn't you wait for me either?
Noel: Why should I have waited? Do I look like your paid driver?
Sherry: You...How dare you? You took me to work Making me think that you'd drive me back. Do you know that I finished my entire money on lunch? I had to walk down to this place by foot. Thank God I had my bus Card else I would have walked all the way from the company down here.
Noel: Well it's not so bad of you walked down here. Besides since you ate a lot for lunch, you might as well let it all out, else you'll become fat. (He comes eating)
Sherry: You..(she aggressively drags the burger he was eating from him, and collects as many food as she could, and ran to her room and shut the door) Yes! (she drops everything on her bed and starts digging in)
MEANWHILE After the movie Kalvin decided to work Jade home! they walk down the path to Jade's house, without total silences. It became awkard and Jade decided to break the weird silence
Jade: So you're free tomorrow?
Kalvin: Yes!
Jade: That's great. So would you love to grab a drink?
Kalvin: Yeah sure.
Jade: Fine then I'll see you tomorrow. (She goes in)
8:30pm
Sherry runs out of her room and goes to the bathroom after spending few minutes there, she went to sit with Noel who was binge watching a movie.
Noel: Don't Tell me you want to watch with me?
Sherry: Of course Yes. What? Is it wrong?
Noel: Go to bed kid!
Sherry: What?
Noel: Kids like you should be in bed by now.
Sherry: I'm not a kid.
Noel: Says who? Besides, you're always good at waking up late. If you dare to wake up late tomorrow, you'll have to pay the fine. $150 will be deducted from your salary.
Sherry: What? But you only pay me $100
Noel: Then you'll have to owe the company. it will be deducted from your next month salary.
Sherry: Don't you dare. (She faces the TV and starts watching the Movie)
11: 10pm
The movie finishes, and Noel stands up to go to his room. And then he notices Sherry who was busy sleeping on the coach. As soon as he saw her, his angar rised)
Noel: You... you're sleeping? Didn't I tell you to go to bed earlier? You think I'll carry you like some female protagonist? You're dreaming. Once you wake up at midnight, go in and sleep. (He leaves her and goes to bed.....Hours later by 3am, he wakes up to use the bathroom, and was shocked to see someone lying on his coach. He then realises that Sherry was lying there, and that she didn't go to bed as he had imagined) My Goodness! How can someone sleep so soundly without waking up or noticing they ain't in bed? Are you dead? (He touches her, but no response) My God! Sherry wake up (he touches her again but no response) Sherry! Don't die in my house wake up! (He touches her again, and this time, she moves a Bit) Thank goodness. I thought you're dead. But how can you sleep so soundly here? Won't you have a stiff neck? (He moves closer to her, and gets a closer view of her face) Surprising you're quite pretty sleeping like this. (He uses his index finger and pokes her cheek, then he smiled) Cute! Anyways let me just do you a favor. (He lifted her gently from the coach, and Carried her to her room. He placed her on her bed, switched off the light and went back to his own room)
Next morning At 7 am
Sherry Wakes up, feeling a slight pain in her neck. Unaware of the reason, she stood up, took a wash, got prepared for work, and went to the living room. There she sees Noel cooking. She walks up to him.
Sherry: Good morning Mr Noel
Noel: Morning! Come and have breakfast
Sherry: Okay.
Noel: (serves different delicious meals like Steaks, Sauces, fried Noodles, salads, And fruit juice) Here have a taste.
Sherry:(takes the spoon) Wow! smells good. Thank you. (Eats it)
Noel:(eagerly) How is it?
Sherry: Hmm.. Yummy.
Noel:(smiles) Hm...Good! Eat quickly, we're almost late.
Sherry: Where did you learn to cook like this?
Noel: I learnt it from during my stay with grandpa. I learnt from the maids. They were really good in cooking meals back then. They told me to learn, that it could help me in my home in future. I didn't except to use it in you.
Sherry: Sorry! You keep wasting your time on me, it's not like we're a proper couple.
Noel: Don't say that, Sherry! As long as you live here with me, you're my wife, I'll care for you even though I can't love you, I will take responsibility for you. And I'll try my best to be good to you like a normal husband. So for the remaining year let's try to live together like a happy couple okay?
Sherry: (smiles) Okay.
