Alvira found herself sitting in the passenger seat, next to him as he drove silently. The drive was smooth and expertly Good. Honestly with the silence and cold of the atmosphere she felt like closing her eyes and just drifting off to sleep. But she can't. It will be so unprofessional Infront of her boss.
Her eyes were already getting droopy, 'Atleast he should put on the radio!' She looked at him expecting a reaction. After all he always gets to know what is on her mind so now that she's doing it on purpose.....
Unfortunately, His expression was still stiff and emotionless "...." She could only blink and turn away.
Somehow she managed to tackle her drowsiness.
The car screech to a halt Infront of a massive hotel. She squinted her eyes looking at the hotel. She had not heard of this hotel before. How could she? Clearly it was a high class hotel for people not her league.
"Blue seal.." The name unknowingly rolled out from her mouth.
Ezra got down from the car and she followed suit. When they got in, they stood Infront of an elevator. Alvira took a rush to press for the button but she immediately stopped because she couldn't find it. She turned around to ask him. "Erhh I can't find any button...."
After looking at her with his brow raised, Ezra stepped forward and pulled out a card from his pocket. He inserted it in and the elevator instantly slide open.
"Oh..." She mumbled, more to herself because Ezra had already stepped in long before her. He wordlessly tilted his head to the side at her. And without wasting time she entered and it slid close.
Finally, They arrived at the room booked for the meeting they were to have. Over a far end corner, the other man was waiting patiently for them.
"Good Evening, Master Li." The Man known as Mr shen stood in greeting once Ezra approached.
Alvira mildly bowed in greetings to him. She stood till Ezra took his seat and even then she was still standing, waiting for permission to do so first.
Doing nothing much, Ezra merely replied his greetings and sat comfortable with his legs crossed sending the aura of a King seep through the atmosphere making it a heavy one for them who were under his scrutiny. His faced had already been masked with an expression that pronounced seriousness and utter business.
"Erhhh Young lady why don't you take a seat." Mr shen acknowledge Alvira who had been standing since they arrived. Trying to distract himself from the nervousness he was facing just being stared at by Ezra with that deathly glare he is throwing.
Alvira's gaze flew to Ezra, but seeing he said nothing she outrightly refused not wanting to catapult herself into any sort of trouble. "Don't worry Sir, I'm...."
"Sit!" A simple word from him and she found herself scurrying over to the seat right beside him.
Mr shen raised his brows with a nod. "Wow! Master Li, she really seams obedient to you."
"Shen Yue, Get to the point, I didn't come here to waste my time." He said calmly as he stared at his expensive wrists watch, therefore sending it across that he didn't have much time so he should start alot quicker.
'Brutal!' Alvira mused mentally. Such a sassy character.
Mr shen understood. He cleared his throat and ordered for a drink first. "I will like to make a toast to Master Li, for His success in leading the business market for years in a role." Mr shen bowed raising his drink forward.
"I'm not in a mood to drink, I shall accept your toast some other day." Ezra said with no hint of interest.
'Ouch!' Alvira could only pity the poor Mr shen mentally.
"That's no problem Master Li. As you said back to business." Mr shen said with an awkward laughter.
"I hear the stock of Shen Group has fallen. It's that the reason you requested an appointment with me?" Ezra got straight to the point, hitting the nail on the head and sparing him to face.
"I....." Mr Shen stuttered.
"Remember I hate Excuses and delirious lies." The Aura he imposed was enough to scare Shen Yue out of his wits. Even Alvira was getting frighten by the way it's occuring. 'Isn't it just a business deal, why is he getting all petrified to the man.' Sure! there are some schemes, lies and deceit in business but he didn't really have to take it this extreme.
"Master Li, I am truly sorry, but I do need your help to save the Shen Group." Mr Shen bowed in total resignation, he knew lieing would not do him no good. His voice was low and weak and when he said that. If not for the quiet ambiance, Alvira knew it will be impossible to hear Him.
But Ezra heard him nice and clear. "And what do I get in exchange for this huge request." Ezra asked him.
Mr Shen's head instantly sprung up. Joy was clearly written on his face which meant he was truly happy and didn't expect this at all. He sounded like he didn't even hear what Ezra said but only the news that he gets to keep his company.
This made Alvira confused. How can someone be so happy because he had to exchange a thing just to be helped? Of course judging from the situation it's not going to be something. How do this business people think. She turned to look at Ezra. 'God! he's ruthless!' She shivered. Not from cold but from Him!
"Master Li.....I..I." Mr shen paused and gave a Stare at Alvira making her jolt from her seat. Before glancing back at Ezra, as if he had an uncertainty if he should say what he wanted to here.
Alvira blinked, Well if this is about her then she better leave to somewhere else. She didn't want to interrupt some 'Serious' Meeting.
As if getting a cue from Ezra, Mr Shen continued making Alvira bounce back on her seat before she could even stand.
