Aurora focused on Shasa, who was chattering with sparkling eyes. Now and then the little girl's lips pursed in annoyance, presenting a dense dark nuance there then shone again, done repeatedly until the nerves controlling her lips tired and forced Shasa to stop. Aurora chuckled as she watched each expression change depicted on the little woman's face. Shasa is so adorable. Her plump cheeks look flushed gently, rubs Shasa's head, then throws a gentle gaze at him.
"Are you finished?" Aurora asked with a big smile, bending her back slightly so that her face was close to Shasa's.
"Is my story too boring? You don't seem to enjoy it?" Shasa spoke in a weak tone, her face lowered to hold back tears.
Aurora instantly shook her head, firmly rejecting the accusations leveled at her. "No. Your story is really interesting, it's just that we've reached school. Just lift your face and look." continued Aurora, clenching her chin meant to show.
Shasa lifted her head slowly, then looked around. Her eyes widened instantly when she realized they had been in front of that enormous gate. The golden gate was now filled with students. Shasa, who too enjoyed the trip while chatting, did not suspect that they had arrived. Shasa's cheeks flushed with embarrassment. She didn't dare to stare at Aurora. Her head was again lowered while her fingers clasped against each other.
Aurora squinted, looking at Shasa with a seductive smile. "You hurt me litle girl. How is this? My heart seems to bleed," she added, putting on a face pretending to be sad.
Hearing that, Shasa looked up, and her eyes immediately met Aurora's brown eyes. Shasa observes Aurora's expression carefully, trying to learn it.
"You're a bitch." Shasa said, showing a great sense of annoyance.
Aurora laughed softly. The girl in front of her always recognized herself. Aurora, moving her hand, rubbed Shasa's head affectionately. "Come in. You'll be late if you're still standing here." She said and straightened his back.
Those sky-blue eyes shone brightly then. There was a sweet smile there as Shasa's tiny lips said. "Be careful at work. I will not sleep until my own eyes see your arrival at the orphanage."
At once, the words dampened Aurora's smile. A look of deep sadness framed her face. Well, as a person who has been raised in an orphanage, Aurora must also work to meet the needs of the beach dwellers. The donors seemed reluctant to reach out, closing their eyes and ears from hungry sobs. Aurora works hard without knowing the time. There are many small shoulders that rest on it. This also made Aurora choose to stay in the orphanage, even though she lived independently. For her, the orphanage is like a house that accommodates her fatigue, there with a life of sufficiency or even lack, still a great sense of love is always abundant. Aurora blinked her eyes from the stifling reverie, pointing her head slightly to look at Shasa. The fragile little girl looked at her with teary eyes, making herself have to sigh deeply before speaking.
"Well, tonight I promise to go home quickly." She said, after weighing it carefully.
Shasa's spirit was full again, her blue eyes sparkled brightly. With a reflex movement, she jumped up and down for joy, then threw her body at Aurora's waist and hugged her tightly. Luckily, Aurora's body, which had staggered because of the sudden movement, was immediately ready to hold her body with her feet so as not to lose her balance.
"I love you. Go home quickly because you promised me that. Anyway, I will not sleep until you get home." Shasa continued with an urgent sentence streak.
Aurora covers the tiny back with both hands, then presents a gentle kiss on Shasa's head. "I love you too, little girl, I love you very much." Aurora continued.
"Stop this nonsense immediately. You two look pathetic."
The heartwarming atmosphere instantly unraveled when she heard a sudden, impersonal voice. Shasa pulled her face forcefully just to throw a commemorative look at the owner of the voice.
"You ruined the mood. Fuck you, I hate you so much." Shasa spoke in a lofty tone, her face flushed with emotion.
Ken returned the fierce look casually. "If you want Aurora to go home quickly. Quickly, take off your arms and let her go. Just like that, do not understand."
"I just hugged her for a moment. Is that wrong?" Shasa replied by gritting her teeth, stamping her feet to vent annoyance.
Aurora, who saw the sparks between them spreading out, immediately stepped in front of Shasa, surrounding the tiny body with her body, as if fortifying.
"Stop it. Don't provoke Ken's commotion or I'll pull your ear off." said Aurora, squinting with indignation.
Ken shrugged his shoulders, not interested in responding to Aurora's words. Then he turned around, about to step through the gate.
"Hurry. The bell is about to ring." no need to look at Shasa.
Aurora, who was used to Ken's indifferent attitude, just shook her head. Her shoulders fell from a long breath. While she was staring at Ken, Aurora immediately shifted her eyes when she felt her fingers being grasped.
"See you later, Aurora." Shasa said while looking up, revealing her gloomy face, like she wanted to cry.
Aurora chuckled again, "come in. Learn good petite girl." She replied with a gentle smile.
Sasha nodded, then stepped lazily. Aurora stared at Shasa's back until the little girl disappeared behind the crowd. After confirming correctly, Aurora turned her back about to walk, but her steps were stopped when she saw a black car stop in front of her, as if blocking her. Aurora's eyes narrowed to clarify the view, but the dark glass made it difficult for her to see who was inside. Aurora stepped slowly, intending to approach towards the car. The sound of the car door opening loudly immediately made Aurora gasp in surprise to make her feet reflexively step back. And as if her surprise did not stop there, now her waist was tightly clasped, making Aurora frozen for a moment. Aurora lowered her head. Her eyes immediately widened, filled with incredible shock, when she realized it was Cleo who was hugging her.
"Mom, I miss you."
Aurora felt her heart like it was being squeezed, so suffocating that her chest was about to burst into pieces. Aurora flinched, not knowing what to do while her body was very difficult to move like a wood that could only stay still. Aurora raised her face as her sense of hearing caught the knock of the echoing steps. At that moment, Aurora's heart was pounding. Aurora's eyes widened and her body trembled. A terrible silence filled the school area as if all the humans who were there disappeared, leaving her with the sharp, blue-eyed man. Aurora gulped, cutting off her gaze immediately because she couldn't afford to linger in sight of the man.
"Cleo... let go."
Aurora raised her face again as the bitter voice reverberated, breaking the silence. Their gazes met, blue eyes staring at him deeply like they wanted to pierce her heart. Aurora gasped as she saw the owner of the blue brick move closer to her. Aurora's face turned pale while her eyes looked wary.
"Dad said Let Cleo go." Darren repeated his order again. This time there was a strong emphasis on his sentence. But his eyes still looked straight at Aurora as he said. "You didn't hear? I said let go."
The atmosphere was getting stiffer, giving rise to the hair and making the body shiver with fear. Aurora was fixed in silence, wrapped in deep fear, her eyes glancing briefly at Cleo before then staring back at Darren.
"Why-you scared him. He's just a kid. You shouldn't be so hard on him." Aurora ventured to speak from her stuck throat, looking timidly at Darren.
Darren thinned his lips, looking coldly at Aurora before then turning his expression dark as he said, "Shut your mouth. One more time you dare provoked me, I'll break your jaw." he continued slowly to emphasize firmly in every word.
