Chapter 9 - Strange Feeling

Happy Reading.

"Are you challenging me, Cleo?"

Darren's voice was low, but there was a definite threat tucked in there. His gaze sharply drew into Cleo's blue eyes. If Cleo hadn't been his son, Darren wouldn't have let that little heart beat again after Cleo said his line. Darren held back with all his might. His anger was about to burst out and he didn't want to spill all his burning hot lava on Cleo. That's why Darren pulled his face slightly, giving the distance to take a deep breath. Then his eyes stared more viciously at Cleo, gesturing for the man to undo her request.

Unfortunately, Cleo, who already knew the meaning of Darren's condition, only thinned his lips. He did not flinch or become stiffly subdued under his father's power.

"Think of it that way. I challenge you, because that's why you have to marry Aurora. This is my first request, or it may be my last." After that sentence resonated, Cleo immediately turned around to step on the stairs.

"I have fulfilled your request before. Aren't you the one who insisted on education in that village school? I even forbid the guards to be around you all the time, and that's all you want. Then what do you mean by saying the first request?" Darren growled in a terrible, echoing voice.

Hearing that, Cleo had to stop his steps, then tilted his head slightly, looking at Darren out of the corner of her eye.

"I will obey your orders as long as you marry Aurora. I promise." he said firmly, without the slightest doubt there.

"But you can't marry that woman. Not until sometime." he said loudly, scorched all hope Cleo. Cleo flinched, looking straight at the stairs.

"Then be prepared to lose me forever." he continued.

"Cleo, don't you dare hurt yourself! I'll kill anyone if you dare." Darren shouted loudly, throwing a definite threat that Cleo only considered the last wind.

After Cleo's back disappeared from his sight, Darren pulled his hair firmly, then shouted loudly to vent his frustration. A very sudden fear engulfed his mind. His expression turned frantic, mixed with overwhelming anxiety. Currently, he is facing death at the edge of his eyes, making Darren's brain work slowly in finding solutions. The bare chest moved up and down at a fast tempo due to heightened emotions. Darren's anger enveloped the entire room and made the air there feel hot and tense.

When Anthony entered the room, the atmosphere that occurred in the silent room was exactly like the feel of a very scary horror. It was only this time that Anthonio felt that sense, a fear so intense that it made him turn to exhale.

"Are you all right, sir?" Anthonio expressed gratitude when he could make his choked voice clear. Darren instantly turned his back, throwing a deadpan look at Anthonio.

"I'm good. What's up?" he asked in an unfriendly tone.

"No. I'm just worried about you. I think something big has happened that makes you so angry." Anthonio explained. He bit the tip of his tongue.

"You're right. Something big has happened this time. Darren replied with dreamy memories, "Aurora, what do you think of that woman?"

That question almost made Anthonio cough up his own saliva. His forehead frowned while his brain worked hard to recall the words that Darren had just uttered. The cruel man asked about girls? It's an amazing thing a cold-blooded killer like Darren asks about women. All his life, Darren did not even think about women. He hated that one creature and even almost wanted to wipe out the weak from the face of this earth.

"You didn't hear me?" there was a slight note of annoyance in his line when Darren spoke again because of the long silence that struck.

"Excuse me, sir, I have no experience with girls. That's why I can't answer your question." said Anthonio swallowing his nervousness.

Darren clucked in annoyance, once again raising his hand to wipe his frustrated face. "Cleo asked me to marry her. Otherwise, he will end his life. Tell me what to do?"

Once again, Anthonio fell silent with a stiff body, his mouth gaping in surprise. Anthonio's eyes widened, his entire facial muscles tensed, leaving a sense of shock mixed with fear there. Is that why his master looks anxious, as if his defenses have collapsed? Darren, that tyrant never showed his confusion, even to himself. Anthonio blinked to convince himself that the man in front of him was Darren.

"M-married?" he said with a stammer. "W-you, how, I mean... you want to marry Miss Aurora? How is that possible?"

At that moment Anthonio cursed his mouth that spoke unconsciously. Darren's horrified look, which seemed to pierce his heart, made Anthonio wince a little, staring timidly at the man.

"What do you mean by how possible? You think there's a problem with me like that?" Darren asked in a tone of dislike.

Anthonio's fingers immediately moved to wipe the back of his neck, "That's not what I meant Sir. But... but...

"Come on, you're making me feel worse." Darren interrupted quickly Darren's words, not giving the man a chance to finish his sentence.

Then Darren was about to step past Anthoni and walked towards the table, but his movement was immediately constrained. With regret mounting, Darren turned his head towards Anthonio again.

"Immediately find the answer to my question. I'm gonna win tonight." Darren gave an indisputable order.

At once Anthonio raised his head, about to throw out all the objections that had gathered in his mouth. But Anthonio could only resist the objection because Darren had already stepped up and sat down in a chair.

Shit. Where should answer?

Jason gently pulled Aurora's fingers, leading her slowly toward the car. His lips covered a radiant smile. Too bad the sun seemed to sink into a deep sleep to not be able to give a crazy light that might fall on the man's face and make his good looks increase.

"Are you well?" Aurora asked, suddenly looking at Jason's face with a wrinkled forehead.

Jason gasped as quickly as lightning turned his face to Aurora. "I'm fine. Why are you asking me that?"

"No. It's just that you've always been smiling. I think there's something that makes you happy."

Jason chuckles a little, deliberately hanging answers to make Aurora even more curious.

"Come in. You will soon find the answer to your question." he said flickering his chin, letting Aurora into the car.

Aurora cracked her lips to speak, but Jason's fingers were already pushing through her body. Aurora sighed in annoyance, no longer intending to argue with the man.

Meanwhile, Jason, after making sure Aurora was sitting comfortably, immediately ran a compact car. In the next second, the black car drove up, splitting the road.

"Are you sure Aurora is coming?" Ken said, smothering, staring at Shasa with annoyance.

"Just go home. If you don't want to wait for her." said Shasa in a bitter tone.

Ken rolls his eyeballs. Shasa will turn very sensitive to Aurora. On the back of the swing chair, Ken leaned back, then closed his eyes. At this moment, a heavy drowsiness was engulfing him suddenly.

While Shasa turned her head towards Ken, her lips pursed when she saw the man even put on a relaxed attitude.

"Ken, what are you doing!" Said Shasa loudly.

"Sleep, moreover." Ken's answer is not bad.

Shasa turned her gaze forward with a sullen face, his eyes gleaming, about to cry. His head lowered while his hands were intertwined, squeezing each other.

Ken sighed. Without looking at Shasa, he already knew that the girl was holding back tears. Ken opened his eyes and turned to Shasa, looking at the beautiful woman's face for a moment.

"Don't cry. I don't let you wait alone. Quickly lift your face." Ken mumbled.

At that moment, Shasa immediately raised her face and looked at Ken. Her masterful lips covered the knot smile, making Shasa's beautiful face shine again.

"Thank you." She whispered softly.

Ken smiled, looking at Shasa's beautiful face. With her long loose hair, her glittering hazel eyes really made Shasa look like a noble Princess. In the first, when Ken's green eyes landed on the cheerful little girl, Ken immediately fell into her charm. I don't know, it's still hard to conclude this feeling of admiration into a strong bond. Ken finds a strand of hair that falls over part of Shasa's face, tucks it behind the woman's ear, and moves his hand to pat Shasa's head.

"You spoiled brat." Ken whispered in a barely audible voice.
