It was day time. Two small birds - Weak pure beast Reverend Feathers - could be heard chirping a natural song as they danced in the air. the jungle was alive and teeming with wilderness.
CRASH!
Out of nowhere, Yin was suddenly thrown against a kapok jungle tree. A result of a tail swipe attack from the Iron Jawed Crocodile. The two had just began their battle, and this attack didn't land on Yin behind of the crocks superior battle prowess, but because Yin wanted to test out the power of the animal with his new body. He wanted to see how much more he could endure.
'This bastard is more powerful than I thought.' He thought to himself as he wiped the blood off of his lip.
The crocodile had a powerful iron jaw that enhanced its already strong bite power by over ten fold. Even beasts of higher rank would have an hard time escaping its grasp. Its teeth were as sharp as razor blades, a single touch and skin could easily be pierced like a hot knife going through butter. Its body was made of thick muscles, due to this, it was naturally insanely strong. Its tail especially was an entire muscle on its own.
Yin liked the sturdiness of his new body. Before, a single tail swipe by this beast would have at least fractured a couple of ribs, but now all it did was cause him a sore stomach and a cut lip. Yin was happy to manage at least that much.
Now that he had ascertained the power difference between him and the crock, he started to walk towards the beast as he spun his spear. It was now his turn to attack. However, as he walked closer to the crocodile, he noticed a change in its expression. It was... fearful?
'No... this can't be right. Although it's attack didn't effect me heavily, it still shouldn't be letting its guard down so much.' Yin thought to himself.
The crocodile suddenly turned its back to Yin and quickly jumped into the water.
"Oi! What!?" Yin was surprised. He quickly ran over to the water but the beast was already gone. "What in the hell?" Yin said, surprised and confused.
At that moment, a powerful roar echoed throughout the jungle, releasing a wave of petrifying energy that froze Yin immediately. For a second he felt as though his lungs had been entirely shredded and his esophagus ripped out of his throat. He couldn't move.
He had gotten used to fighting, and so he wouldn't ever get nervous in fights anymore. However, that nearly forgotten feeling of fight or flight assaulted him out of nowhere. Causing his heart rate to spike up, and his body to sweat profusely.
At this moment, he felt an aura of blood lust with so much intent that it thickened the atmosphere. Behind him he could hear slow but heavy foot steps. A beast that clearly was not in any rush nor fear. It was calm. Confident.
This made Yin's heart beat even more. A beast that was so confident yet held so much killing intent. It had to be of the higher formation rank, if not rampage rank.
Finally, as his body started to become slightly more adjusted to its new atmosphere, he was able to slowly turn around. The beast behind him was a Crowned Head Tiger! Yin's eyes widened as he realized what kind of situation he was in. He started to pant heavily from his mouth.
The Crowned Head Tiger, otherwise known as the King of The Jungle!
Village men spoke about this terrifying creature as one that walked around as if it were royalty, as if it reigned over the jungle with a crown on its head. A Rampage ranked beast!
It was as large as a car. Its feet were striated with thick muscles and its paws were wide, having razor sharp dagger like claws at the end. It's presence was domineering yet majestic. Yin felt like kneeling down to the beast just by being near the great beast. The tiger had a white body with red stripes and a yellow underbelly. On its forehead existed a gold colored circle. Its gaze was deadlier than a serpents. Yin felt chills going up his back as he locked eyes with it.
Taking slow steps, it walked over to Yin. Getting as close as an inch away before breathing out through its nose a hot; steamy breath that smelt of blood and raw meat.
Yin couldn't move... he felt horrible. All he could do was simply stand there and hope he wouldn't get mauled by the beast right then and there.
The beast slowly opened its mouth - Yin's heart was about to jump out of his chest - and yawned... before licking its lips and walking past the small boy, still; taking loud steps that left an indent in the ground.
Yin forced his hand to get up. He touched the purple poison on his spear and managed to mark a small part of the beasts tail with it before it leaped out of sight.
Once it was gone, Yin fell to his knees. His nerves untensing. At this moment what he felt was... anger. He hated it, the feeling of helplessness. It reminded him of things he didn't want to remember.
His face contorted with rage and his fists balled up. "Every time I feel like I'm going in the right direction, something has to come in my way to fuck it all up! What was the point of all this training. Of everything I've been doing to survive and grow stronger, if I'm just going to be as helpless as that time! Damn it!" He yelled in outrage. "Screw it! I swear on my life, I will not leave this rued jungle until I stomp on the head of that damn tiger!" He yelled, smashing both of his balled fists into the ground.

Yin dedicated the next fours weeks or so seriously plotting his plan of action. He knew what he was lacking above all other things, a durable close range weapon. Any ordinary man wouldn't want to get any closer to the Crowned Head Tiger, however Yin was no ordinary man. Although the spear was great and all, it heavily lessened his mobility and attack speed. He took time thinking of the most perfect weapon. That's when he remembered how his first battle with a pure beast went. "Become an animal." That saying kept on running circles in his head.
Finally, he came up with the perfect weapon. One that was not only close ranged and powerful, but could also be used in almost any circumstance with efficiency and speed.
Claws.
He had the weapon of choice in his mind, however, he still had one more problem to face; the weapons durability. When using the spear, wooden ones would simply be too fragile to puncture the skin of any powerful pure ranked beast; and although stone spear heads were much more efficient; even they were quite weak when it came to peircing the skin of many beasts.
He knew that if he wanted to get close to even scratching the Crowned Head Tigers skin, he would need a weapon which would not crumble, break, or bend under pressure. He needed Iron!
