Chapter 11 - Parasite

w-where am i. drip asked as he barely opened his eyes, he was lying on a wooden bed.
are you ok mister? you've been asleep for 4 hours. drip hadn't opened his eyes when he heard the voice he recognised a few moments before he passed out.
Billy... drip's eye's opened wide as he recollected what happened before he passed out.
what happened and where am i... drip said already standing up from the bed scanning his surroundings, he was still on the uniform but there was no blood stains on it.
calm down... your in my room -G5 i woke up a few minutes after i passed out and was leaving to the nurse's office when i saw blood on the ground near the toilet.
at first i thought it was mine but then i noticed it was coming from the toilet that's when i opened the door and found you lying near kiltz body ...
drip's heart was racing he knew billy had caught up with him cause he was the only one there at that particular moment, and to make matters worst he was besides klitz body.
i don't remember what happened but i came to the toilet to pee when i found klitz body on the floor so i passed out due to shock. drip tried to come up with the best lie he could think of as he looked at Billy's face.
the latter looked at him weirdly for a while pondering on something, which just made drip's heart skip more.
if he doesn't believe me i'll have to kill him too, i can't take any chances. drip thought in his mind.
drip i know you killed klitz...Billy said in a soft voice as he continued.
i don't know how you managed to kill a LV 09 student when you're just a pt trainer like me but am really grateful for your help. he said as tears overwhelmed his eyes.
drip just stared at billy as he spoke those words, he was in a state of confusion not knowing what to do or say.
if you know i killed klitz then why did you bring me here... a-aren't you afraid i'll kill yo-u. drip said in a deep voice as he stared at billy.
hahahaha! drip was taken aback as he watched Billy's once teary and sad, burst into laughter.
afraid of death? i already died the time i joined the military academy, i came from a very poor family where my mother and father didn't have anything and constantly had to work multiple shifts a day just so me and my little sister could eat! billy poured out his emotions of anger as he told drip about his background.
when i turned sixteen i decided to join the military academy so i could at least assist my parents somehow when i get stronger instead of being a burden at home, but when i joined the military academy a couple of months back it was hell for me, i was constantly beaten up and treated badly by everyone, even my roommate left me. he stopped as he catched his breath.

i wanted to give up and quit but pt jack encouraged me to go on which i listened and worked harder until a few days when klitz and his rank E's goons bullied and collected my credits i thought i could cope until today when they almost beat me to death and everything just happened.
drip had mixed feelings as he listened to his story, billy was just like him weak, not important in life, just wanted to survive and take care of his loved ones but the world is cruel and so are the people in it.
and pt jack hmmmn i guess that old man do care... his respect for him deepened.

it's nothing at all drip you helped me first, i was just repaying the favour. nothing at all? did he just say covering up a dead body was "nothing at all", were all the people close to him this weird or just crazy.
emm billy where's klitz's body?
oh i couldn't keep it anywhere else so i brought it here, it's underneath the bed behind you.
o-ok. drip looked underneath the bed and saw klitz's lifeless body wrapped in torn rags he opened the head area and saw bite marks and torn flesh on his neck he couldn't help but remember something.
i remembered feeling attracted to the blood but that was all....
he then placed the body of klitz with it's eyes closed on the wooden bed looking at it he saw it was missing an arm which was sliced off.
billy what about the arm...
oh it's over here. the latter then went to the back of a wooden closet at the end of the of the wall beside the bed and brought out a white wrapping.
i couldn't let the blood keep on pouring so i wrapped both up...
drip just nodded as he looked at klitz's body not knowing what to do with it.
ehh i could slice it into different pieces... no, or maybe i can-
you can leave the body here, no one will come here or suspect a thing. Billy said feeling comfortable not afraid in the slightest.
just what changed in this boy... drip couldn't help but think.
how can i trust you with that, i don't even know if you will betray me, we just met...
your wrong if i wanted to betray you i would have already done that before instead risking myself to bring you and the body here.
but if you still don't trust me you can take the body if you want but i doubt you'll find where to keep it.
thinking about it billy was right, he could've reported immediately but he instead chose to help him out despite knowing the risks.
fine you keep the body but am warning you if you ever think of betraying me i'll hunt everyone you love and make you watch as i kill the slowly. he said staring at billy which sent shivers down the latters body.
as drip was about leaving the room billy grabbed him by the hands out of reflex drip spun around and kicked billy by the side sending him hitting the wall besides the door.
shit! why did he grab me, i hope he isn't dead. he said as he rushed over to Billie's side the latter arm was dislocated and blood was dripping from his mouth and head.
are you ok billy, and why the hell did you grab me?
pha, i had my guesses about you drip i might not be strong but am plenty much smart, i knew you weren't just an ordinary pt trainer i mean who the fuck would believe that an ordinary pt trainer would kill klitz a LV 09 earth ability user.
so i decided to test my theories out by grabbing your hand but i didn't expect you to be this strong...

what do you mean? he had a frown on his face hearing that.
i mean i had my suspicions from the bite marks and claws in klitz's body i suspected you ate some of his flesh but it didn't add up, so that's why am asking you now drip and please... don't lie to me.
i-i can't tell him am a parasite i don't even trust him that much. he was contemplating on what to do as billy snapped he out from his thoughts.
i-t seems like you don't trust me that much but you'd rather kill me if you're going to leave. he used his body to block the door as he had a firm look in his eyes...
drip couldn't help but smile at his determination and decided to tell him.
if you truly want to know what i am then i'll tell you, tho you may not like the news...

the expression on billy's face dropped as he heard drip say that.
what you mean your not a vampire, a werewolf or a zombie? i mean it's only those mythological creatures I've read of who eats flesh or drink blood but a parasite... billy's face was full of confusion at the moment as he went to the wooden shelve opposite the door searching for something.

shut up! billy said as he brought out a small torn out black coloured book.
it says here that parasites are organisms which feeds on their host for survival. he then dropped the book and looked at drip awkwardly.
so it must mean you'll have to feed on flesh and blood to survive...
yes that's right i was at the brink of death when i decided to go and kill a random student but i saw klitz and how he treated you so i made him my meal instead of you. drip stressed those last words to scare billy which worked as the latter gulped down saliva.
so do you have any special powers, it doesn't state in this book if a parasite has any special powers.
my physical stats have improved a bit so has my hearing but it not much compared to a higher LV ability user.

so yo- drip was interrupted by the sound of the bell as he checked his watch which displayed 11:45am.
it's break already, we should go and eat... we can discuss tomorrow after lunch i'll see what i can find out about parasites in the library and net. billy said to drip which he nodded as they headed outside billy brought out a faded bronze card which he slid on a slot near his door looking it.
it would be better if i go out first to avoid attention. billy said already walking out about a minute later drip followed behind.
he went to search for leo in the canteen as he arrived at the place there were multitude of students everywhere eating, drinking chatting away. he even saw klitz's two goons eating with some other students at a table he clenched his fists in anger as a hand touched him.
hey where the hell have you been drip I've been worried about you...
he turned around as he saw leo and gave his roommate a hug, even leo was surprised this was the first time drip had ever hugged him, some students looked at them weirdly before returning back to their business.
seriously man you need to stop skipping class, the hunt is in about a week's time. he said with a concerned face.

drip! drip saw pt jack coming towards him anger written all over his face.
where the hell have you been newbie not only did you skip class on the first and second day but you also had the guts to eat. i hope you know your punishment...

it's alright leo. drip then looked at pt jack. i know it's 20 meters on the track sir am ready. jack was shocked he didn't expect this from drip.
this newbie keeps on surprising me. pr jack thought as drip was already heading out to the field he stopped him.

mhmm. they then ate and did a little strolling around the academy which took about 6 hours to reach half of the academy.
we should head back now it's almost curfew. leo said checking his watch.
curfew? this was the first time drip heard there was a curfew.
yeah curfew's starts at 7:00pm sharp so we're meant to be in by 6:45...
oh and what happens if we're let's say a little late.. drip wanted to know the punishment so it could help in the near future.
they'll expel the student and it's ban from the military for life that's about it...
drip felt like chocking right now wouldn't that mean all his dreams would be flushed out the drain for a fucking curfew. he had a lot on his mind as they headed back to their room...
