Chapter 13 - New Skills

Drip was heading down to his room with the black bag wrapped in his front, he abruptly stopped as he heard conversations upfront.
i haven't set my eyes on klitz, since yesterday...
me neither, he's not attending class too...
i have a bad feeling about this. fren the goon from the left said as he looked at the other goon in his front.
maybe we should report to the boss...
hmmm, i don't think we should report now, after all klitz can take care of himself, he's an earth ability user and a LV 09. that's even higher than us...
your right fren he's probably taking a rest...
we'll check up on him later, let's go...
As the two were leaving, fren suddenly stopped in his tracks and turned back, looking at the wall where drip hid as the former proceeded to walk in the direction drip was.
shit! why is he coming towards me, he couldn't have sensed me. could he? drip's mind was spinning as fren was still inching closer to him.
fuck my luck. drip cursed inwardly, as his hands had turned into dark claws waiting to strike.

fren then turned to look at the other goon.
it's nothing lim, i thought i sensed someone watching us...
there's no one there fren, you must be seeing things.
come let's go. fren took a glance back at the wall where drip is until he left with the goon named lim.
phew! that was close...
they don't seem to be too alert by klitz absence...
but i should be cautious about that fren guy he seems... suspicious
walking out from there as fast as he could, he was going towards his room -G3, not knowing there was a figure watching him from afar.
what's he up to. the figure said tailing behind drip at a far distance.
drip had arrived at his room, as he opened his door by sliding his card into the card slot, entering through the door and shutting it.
today's been a headache for me. he said touching his forehead, as he laid on the bed beside the bag staring at the ceiling in boredom.

Skills:
[poison claw drain: the user's hand becomes a poisoned claw which deals damage to whosever afflicted (except user) and stores poison in the body which kills the specie and returns part of the user hp depending on the lv. user can also release a line of dark aura from both hands.]

[Sense:the user is able to inspect and sense a specie nearby and the information is displayed in stats. the user can also sense a skill or ability used by a specie depending on the lv. note: (sense can not lv up)]

[Gaze:the user's eyes becomes white and one looked at a specie will paralyze the specie stunning it in place and can command the specie to obey him depending on the lv (note: gaze will lv up depending on the user's lv).

[Acid shot: the user fires shots of venom from both palms of his hands which deals damage to affected area once in contact with skin it slowly eats and melts the flesh off.(Note: a lot slower when in contact with higher LV ups and costs 5 hp from each palms fired)]

[Lethal strike destruction: the user performs series of strikes, infused with venom to a specie which deals damage, to the affected part immobilising the lower LV up's and weakens the higher up's. costs 3 hp per strike]

[Stealth: once activated hides user's presence, essence, and aura from a specie which will enable user to perform, sneak kills on species in exchange for for health points. costs 1 hp per second.]

[Death fury: once in this state, adrenaline rushes through user's body, turning him into a fury killing machine that kills anything in it's path (friend or foe) and boosts all stats by 2. Note: user can use this when looking for a fast kill. costs 10 hp per 5 minutes.]

These are some really cool and deadly skills...
i unlocked four new skills.
but why does it cost hp instead of mana? drip had first noticed this from his poison claw drain skill, but he didn't bother much about it at first.
if all my skills cost hp and not mana.... it might be a problem when am low on hp in the middle of a fight.
Ah! stupid system i can't be eating on the middle of a fight. he rolled his eyes wishing he could bury the system right now.
at least help me out for once... the system store, then popped up in drip's eyes as he looked at it, he understood what the system meant.
he then tapped the icon under the screen as a window appeared.
[The system store is a vast space slot to store non living things, in for as long as user chooses and can also bring out with his mind, space and time doesn't work here. Note: the condition an item is when stored will be the same when brought out.]
space and time doesn't work there, how is that even possible? drip couldn't help but be amazed.
just what should i store. he looked around, and saw the black bag beside him and decided to store it, as he stretched his hand at the bag it disappeared into dark particles into thin air.
successful. he then checked his system store to see the item there as he brought the bag back out to eat a piece of meat.
the meat still seems fresh, weirdly the system store works... he was indeed happy to have solved the food problem.
he then checked the shop but there was no items.
that's weird... it may be a glitch or something.
anyways let's move on to the skills...
exactly 1:25am in room -G3 if one looked closer sounds of panting and hitting of walls could be heard as the door was locked.
drip had just finished testing out some of the new skills he acquired recently, as he was breathing heavily sweat all over his face and body.
this is really awesome, all this skills are based on health points...
but it's worth it, if only i had enough health points. he then looked at the results of his little test and couldn't help but laugh out loud. to be honest this was the first time he had ever laughed like he just did.
leo's probably gonna have a heart attack when he gets back to see this... mess. before there were, small holes and cracks in the walls and ceiling but now they had gotten wider, there's now a big hole clearly visible at the edge of the bathroom wall due to drip's little experiment.
he shook his head as he climbed on leo's bed on top of his as he was unbelievably feeling lonely without leo.
i can't believe i miss the guy this much...
we must have gotten close without me realising it. he was thinking about other things as his eyes stared at the ceiling for about a minute.
i-i can't believe I've been away from lola for about a week now...
i really hope she's ok. drip's heart aches as he thought something bad might have happened to her.
she's strong willed , she'll be able to take care of herself. he shook off the negative thoughts from his head as he decided to recall the pro's and con's of the new skills he tested out...
firstly, acid shot seems to be deadly like poison claw drain only it doesn't go in auras but liquid shots like when a shotgun is fired. the liquid also seems to be like normal blood but has black spots on it giving it that reddish black colour.
it's a good thing i shot it at the wall. drip said looking at the edge of the wall beside the bathroom.
it's good for short range distance when in a fight, but not meant for long ranges.
lethal strike destruction also is impressive, only for strikes...
i bet i could finish off or at least brake a bone or two if i face a low low to non LV ability user. but am not so sure about the high lv's since i haven't witnessed a battle between two higher lv's...
i wonder what would happen if i activated poison claw drain and infused it with lethal strike destruction. drip's whole body was shaking with excitement as he couldn't wait to try it out
hmm, maybe later...
Stealth looks impressive since it hides my presence but i haven't concluded yet, i may have to try it on a particular someone. he had some one in mind as he smiled mischievously.
