Lilian was unaware of the people concerning over her or Lizbeth really. There was a loud commotion in the hallways. But everyone became quiet suddenly. There were noises of feet scuddling about in different directions as if avoiding or running away from something. The bedroom door to Lizbeth's door swung open. A man with jet black hair that matched the empty night sky and deep green eyes that resembled the purest of emeralds rushed in, servants immediately kneeled and cautiously looked his way.
"Where is she?" a man blurted out rudely.
"Y-your Majesty the Lady is currently asleep after fainting." a woman spoke up hesitantly.
"Sir, she fainted after waking up in a new environment after being taken from where she was held. She might be going through shock of being kidnapped twice." a man said facing the man who was emerging a dark presence.
The man referred to as his majesty turned to Lilian and knelt beside her bed giving her a cumbersome look. It seemed he was filled with anguish. Lilian started to stir she could barely make out the voices playing in the back. Her body felt heavy, nauseated and worst of her head felt like her brain would explode out. She tried to open her eyes but they were to heavy to lift. The man next to her made a motion to a servant who seemed to understand his que because he quickly fled out the room running towards somewhere or someone.
"I can't believe she's back and yet she's in this state. I swear on my life anyone who has harmed her will feel the wrath of the King and wish the holy popes could call forth Goddess Rhianna to help them be spared." the man next to her said furiously.
With that the man who looked like a knight who entered with the King came to his side and placed a hand on his shoulder. The King looked up at his seething his faced twisted with blood thirst. He couldn't keep his emotions in check, his mind was racing a hundred no a thousand thoughts a second at least that's how he felt. He curled his fist that was by his side holding back the desire to punch or smash the closes object near him. He didn't want to disturb the woman he concerned so much over. He didn't want to make Lizbeth fear him when all he wanted is to protect her. He was scared to accidentally cause her more trauma. He stood up flipped his cape to return to his back and headed for the door his fist still curled. He stopped about-face towards the maid who first talked to Lilian.
"When the lady awakes notify me immediately give her only food that would be best for the unwell. Also approach her softly if she asks any question answer them truthfully. This woman is special if any harm comes to her it will be that person's head." he roared out before they exited the room and his knight closing the door.
The hand maidens, maids and servants could do nothing but nod and remember his words as they were the only warning they knew they would receive. There was no time for error or to relax. They stared at Lilian who they knew to be Lizbeth concerned for her yet also fretting for their own heads. Lizbeth though too weak to speak, too weak to open her eyes or to even make out the voices that jumbled in her mind continued to sleep. Unresponsive and unknowing of what was going on. Her pale body like a small pile of snow laid frail like on the bed her hair gleimg with all the bright lights in the dainty room and jer mall physique making it seem as a woman on her death bed laid there. Lilian looked extremely frail and malnourished from what ever traumas Lizbeth had endured before she entered her body.
The servant who had left after the King's notion finally returned "the royal physician will be here at dusk to check on our Lady." he said like a mouse.
" Understood get preparations ready for his arrival and make sure they're aren't too many prying eyes when he comes to our Lady's room only those the Emperor spoke with and those who know of our Lady's truths." the maid said who initially talked to Lilian before she fainted.
The servant boy nodded rushed out the room again. He ran and announced what everyone needed to know and secretly told those whom few knew of Lizbeth's truths to make sure her floor was secured with no on lookers there when the physician arrives. He was quick and speedy like a mouse trying to escape from the cats chase. He huffed and breathed hard breaking a sweat to quickly ensure everything was all set. Soon tea time passed and servants were preparing supper for the emperor, knights, and other servants. Only a few remained near Lilian's room and less remained in her room.
The Doctor showed up a couple hours later. He took her hand examining her pulse used a tethocope to listen to her heartbeat. He examined her frail body upon seeing some scars on her back and legs.
"She's simply malnourished and experiencing shock. Give her plenty of fluids and food she should regain some strength. However with the scars medically speaking too much time has passed for me to treat it be best to call upon a mage or mana user." The royal physicial said the maid who caught her from falling.
The maid simply nodded back. She looked at the other maids as if to inform them to let the others know. The maid who caughter had red hair like a rose and copper colored eyes with freckles. She stood by the bed worrying over Lilian. Pieces of her fell as head hung down to get a better look at Lilian. She moved the burning red strands behind her ear. She could hear some of the maids returning and rushed back to other side of the room. She hoped with all her heart she would awake soon.
