"Adrienne you can't hide from destiny", said the man more persistent than ever. "follow me and all your misery's would be over". Over? You mean multiplied, Dean thought.
"Even if it was my last option, I will not take it", said Dean. "its matter of time we shall see", said the man. "why can't you just leave me be? I'm pretty sure they are more suitable people for this position, definitely he had dukes or other high up",Dean said trying to make the man rethink his decision and find some one else much more capable of this role.
"you don't even know anything about me or about my life, so whats makes you think I fit the part of what your asking me to?". Why did he always come when I am asleep, so tiring. Everytime his here, it's more like I'm awake instead of sleeping, it really drains me.
"How sure are you?",the man asked a grin visible on his face. "I know you like that girl".
"girl? Who are you talking about?", Dean asked. Who was he talking about and if it's who I think it is what is he playing at. "what's her name?", the man asked using his index to tap his chin as tho trying to recall it. "Ahh yes.. Audrey", the man smiles. I was afraid of this, surely I know she'll be a pawn in his game, I thought.
"they's is nothing you do that I don't know", the man said. Your a creepy guy stalking me in my dream, I know you know much about me than myself, I thought. "your expression changed just by calling her name, I wonder what will happen if I-".
"Don't you dare touch her!",Dean said in anger, he was really anxious but he played it cool. The smile the man gave icked him down to his bones. The man turns walking the other way "why should I listen to your words, when you don't want to listen to mine?". He keeps walking.
"what do you mean? I will never give in!", Dean yelled. "we shall see",said the man with a chuckle as he kept walking further away. "what do you mean by that!", Dean yelled. But the man ignored him. "Mortem!",Dean yelled, before he could catch up to him but he vanished.
"Mortem! come back here!", Dean shouted in rage. "Mortem!", Dean yelled waking up, he checked the time ,it was 4:30am. "What did he mean?", He asked puzzled.
…
Audrey took a few weeks leave from school and work, due to her injury, Every day after school Dean goes over help and keep her company. After a few days her leg healed, but not fully. It was surprising how it only took a week, cause the doctor said it would take at least a month or less. Since she could use a leg, Audrey already felt restless at home.
"I'll go to school tomorrow", said Audrey. I feel suffocated at home, nothing to do my phone dry and I've missed so much lectures, she thought. "Your leg isn't fully healed", said Dean resting on the bed looking at her.
"I can walk , the wound is better now", Audrey said moving her once sore leg. "See".
"Even still it needs more rest time", Dean said. "No! I don't want to stay home anymore", Audrey cried out, the frustration had eaten deep. "Fine. But I'll ride you first two days", Dean said. "Yes!", Audrey said immediately, exictment in her voice.
Dean arrived at her house a few minutes to 6am, he nudged on the door but it didn't open, meaning it was locked. He got out his phone to call Audrey.
He dialed her number, it went through Immediately "Hello", she said.
"Yh, I'm at the door but it's lock, where did you leave the spare key?", Dean asked looking around. "It's under the rug", Audrey replied. "Okay",He said cutting the call. What a bad and obviously place to hide a house key, he said placing his phone in his pocket.
He stepped away from the floor mat, bent down then raised the mat, he picked the key staring at it for a while then stood up. He unlocked the door then walked in, shutting the door behind him.
Dean walked straight to her room and knock on the door, "come in", she answered from the other side. He opened the door to see her already dressed, she wore a light blue knee length chiffon gown with a black belt. Her hair was tied up to a bun and adorn with silver and gold hair pins. she wore brown leather knee length boots.
"you're up and kitted so early, why's that?", Audrey asked. "i'm meant to drop you off at school remember", Dean said walking further in looking at the watch on my wrist.
"Are you meant to be wearing heels?", asked Dean. "Your leg isn't fully healed yet".
"It's just a kind of shoe, besides it's not that high, or high at all", Audrey said showing her the underneath of the shoes. "Give me a few, let me gather up my things".
"Well hurry up, it's to seven", Dean said walking to her bed. He sat down comfortably watching as Audrey ran up and down getting her things. "what a nerd", he mummured.
"i heard that",Audrey said throwing a pillow at Dean but he dodged it. "im done, get up let's go, I have lectures this morning",Audrey said picking up her bag and walking to the room door.
"you just don't seem to get enough of school, do you?", Dean said walking out of her room. Audrey hurried outside waiting patiently for Dean who took his time "Dean hurry up!",Audrey shouted. "i'm coming", Dean said chuckling.
Dean sat on the bike and Audrey sat at the back both her legs on the leg side. "I didn't know you we'd be using your power bike", Audrey said taking the helmet that Dean handed to her. If I had known he brought his Bike, I'd have worn jeans instead, she thought.
"With your weight how do you expect to reach school on time for class on a bicycle", Dean teased locking in his buckle. Audrey face turn red out of embarrassment, she hit his back " so mean".
"Remind me again how you got this", Audrey asked. "Birthday gift from my uncle", Dean reply.
"You're really something you know", Audrey said. "Not this again", Dean replied. "Are you gonna nag me again mom?", he asked chuckling.
"I am not nagging you, just stating the truth", Audrey said sitting up. As she spoke, Dean turned on his bike letting it warm for a beat. "You have a family, I want you to- AH!", Audrey yelled holding on to Dean so tight because he had already started riding with out a warning. Dean rode in speed, but not to much speed so he wouldn't attract police attention. But to Audrey it felt as tho Dean was trying to fly, lord save me, his trying to kill both him and I, She begged in her mind.
