CHAPTER 4 : IRIDUM HIGH SCHOOL

Iridium Falls High School, was located at the core of the town, it was the only school, that the town, had so it was very big and populated, with classes ranging from, kindergarten to final years.

This school, had many myths surrounding, it. Myths that the humans, laughed and, but the supernatural, revered, a bit angry at the humans, who believed that there was no such thing, as night crawlers or witches and wizards. That it was probably just an old folk lore tale made up, by bored old women, many years ago.

Little, did they know, that the town, was infected with them and passed as friends and neighbors, having fun together doing stuffs.

One, of the myths surrounding the school, was that it was the bedrock of the famous war, that is going on for centuries between the witches, vampires and werewolves, as they wanted to have the land to themselves, that the first alpha's of each kind, were murdered on the spot, which marked the beginning of the war. And the school's name was originally called Supernatural Academy, a school for the supernatural, before the humans started relocating, and the super naturals were forced to hide themselves.

Like people said, it was stupid, anyways it didn't stop them from making their own speculations, about the school's secrets and adding their versions to it.

This was still the same school, that Gaia, and the rest of the supernatural went to, to pass as ordinary kids. Gaia, had prepared immediately, leaving Michael's room, as she got downstairs, already dressed for school. Michael said he was going to resume fully, tomorrow, with Lili, so she had no need to wait for them.

And now, she was in the hallways, in front of her locker, getting her books, when she suddenly felt a presence, but shrugged it. It was impossible for someone to be there, without her, smelling him, or her out first. Immediately Gaia closed her locker door, she cursed, as she was startling, her books, almost slipping from her hands.

"Damn Anya, how the hell do you do that without a sound?" she said. Anya was her best friend, always in pony tails, and dressed in cheerleader's clothes. She was the strangest person, ever. She had her secrets, Gaia could tell. She was her best friend, yet she knew absolutely nothing about her, not even her surname, or where she lived, yet they had known each other since middle school.

"Guess, I am perfect. Anya replied, flickering one of her pony tails, as she continued chewing on her bubble gum, gesturing to the books, Gaia held in her hands.

Where are you off to?"

"Math class, like every other normal human being." She said rolling her eyes carrying her books as they walked down the hall.

"I hate math. Mr. clayton is so annoying." Anya said skipping beside her. Gaia, rolled her eyes at this. Anya had never attended a class, in her life, yet her grades were the best in the school.

"Are you indirectly mocking me? You have never gotten anything less than an A+ in it, hell all the subjects."

"That's purely luck. Come on do I look like a nerd to you?" Anya said stopping before Gaia. Gaia stopped too, as she gave a survey look, from her head to toe, taking note of her two differently colored hair, packed with ribbons, and other artificial, hair parkers, to her heavily painted face, with blood shot mouth, down to her crop top, and her skimpy skirt, with sneakers. Her best friend looked like the dark version of Harley Quinn.

"You know, now that I think about it, yeah you do." Gaia said as she continued walking, down the hall, stopping in front of her class.

"My own best friend is mocking me." Anya said crossing her arms across her chest angrily.

"Get used to it." Gaia said as she entered her class leaving Anya to find hers.

"So, like I was saying, you should drop by my dorm tonight." Liam said to his seat partner.

"Get off, freak. Who the hell do you think you are?" The girl said squeezing her face in disgust.

Liam chuckled as he looked into her eyes and said in a low voice.

"You WILL drop by my dorm tonight." He repeated as she nodded.

"Yes, I will drop by your dorm tonight." She said, repeating every word in a trance.

"Good, now go." Liam concluded as the girl stood up and walked out of the class, passing Gaia who entered it.

Hey, Liam. Wasn't that Sofia leaving? She said, taking a double take at the girl, who walked out, without glancing back, at them, as if she was dazed or something.

"Yeah maybe, why." He said shrugging, as he flipped through his pages of the chemistry book, he had opened, trying to avoid eye contact.

"What's she doing with you. You aren't exactly in her list of hot and dashing boys that she wants to sleep with." Gaia said, baffled, as she sat down, on her seat, before turning back to face him.

"And what's makes you think I am the one she was talking with." Liam said, looking at her, but instantly regretted letting that word slip out of his mouth, in the first place.

"You do know that you are the only person here right." Gaia said looking around the classroom.

"Oh, huh. Maybe I do fall in her list of hot and dashing boys then." Liam said as the bell rung and their classmates started trooping into the class, ending their conversation.

"What's today's report?" The alpha asked his council as they were all seated down in the throne room.

"It's still the same sire. We need to do something about the rogue witches. We may be at peace now, but do not forget that the war still rages."

"Don't you remind him, of what he should do, about the war. You all here already know what he has sacrificed just for us to get to this peace." Nia said from where she sat beside the alpha.

"I am so sorry, future Luna Nia. I totally stepped out of my boundaries." Liam said kneeling down.
