Chapter 26 - Chapter 26: Round 3: Cally V.s Bakugou

"AAAALLLRIGHT FOLKS FOR ROUND 3 WE HAVE OUR NEXT TWO FIGHTERS!" Mic said as Cally walked onto the arena. Bakugou then walked onto the arena from the other side and the crowd cheered for them . "CALLY V.S BAKUGOU!" Mic said as class 1-A were praying for Cally. "I just hope Bakugou doesn't actually try to kill her out there" Mina thought as Enel cheered for Cally "kick his ass Cally!" Enel shouted "Yeah you got this!" Bryce shouted as he started to glow red as Mic set the two up for battle. "3..2..1 FIGHT!" Mic shouted as Bakugou was surprisingly quiet and reserved as opposed to his usually abrasive nature. "I heard that she has a light based quirk. If that means she's potentially faster than Enel i should be careful, i was hoping i'd get to kick his teeth in but that'll have to wait" Bakugou thought as he looked like he was analyzing something. Cally then created a bow of light and started to fire at Bakugo."shit" Bakugo thought as he was caught off guard. The light arrow missed and cut his cheek a bit. Bakugou inhaled deeply as he put both of his hands on the ground and caused a concussive wave that shook the arena and knocked Cally off balance. "Now's my chance" Bakugou thought as he used his explosions and thrusted himself forward at Cally. Bakugou then used another explosion and changed direction to get behind her and send her sliding to the other side of the arena with a powerful explosion to the back. As soon as Cally got her balance back She used a portal to get behind Bakugo. "Shit where did deer antlers go?" Bakugo thought as he looked around Cally then made a hammer of light before Slamming it into Bakugo's side. "I've had worse," Bakugou said as he threw a wild elbow with explosive speed and elbowed Cally Right in the face . Bakugo instead of being offensive he opted to jump back and gain distance "i just need to focus on countering. I'm assuming bending light to your will takes a lot of energy and toll on your body so she'll slow down pretty soon" Bakugou thought as he took a defensive stance with his palms open. "Ow." Cally said as she wiped the blood from her nose she held her hand out as vines started to grow around Bakugo. "Heat V.s Vines isn't a good match up for you" Bakugou said as his palms glowed orange. Bakugou then started to blow apart the vines until all of them were gone. "I just had an idea, since i can detonate my sweat that means i should be able to to leave land mines for her. All they need is a bit of heat and boom!" Bakugou thought as his palms started to drop sweat. "Cally then dashed at Bakugo with a sword of light. "Here she comes "Bakugou says under his breath as he lets off a few sparks from his hands that detonate the sweat on the ground. As Cally rushes in she and Bakugou are caught in a large explosion that shakes the stadium. As the smoke clears both of them are at the edge of the opposite side of the arena but Cally looks more injured. "*huff* my body is used to this kinda heat by now,it still hurts but not as much!" Bakugou said as he coughed. "I gotta end this quickly or I'm doomed." Cally said as she reflected light and used it to blind bakugo. "Jokes on you,I don't need my eyes for this one," Bakugou said as he used his explosion's "Howitzer impact." Bakugo said before letting out a huge explosion while charging at Cally. As soon as the explosion cleared, Bakugo couldn't see Cally. "Where'd antlers go?" Bakugo thought as Cally came out of a portal right above Bakugo and used a light hammer and swung it into his chest and into a portal that shot him out of a portal that led off the arena. "WOW FOLKS WHAT A CUNNING VICTORY FOR CALLY YOSHIHARA." Mic said before Cally walked off the arena while Bakugou angrily clutched his side
