Chapter 31 - Chapter 31: Outclassed

"AAAAAND FOR THE FINAL ROUND, A BATTLE THAT YOU ALL HAVE BEEN WONDERING IF IT WOULD HAPPEN. ENEL KAMINARI V.S MAX DAEMON!" Mic shouted as the crowd cheered loudly. "For this match we'll do something different. Ring outs won't count as defeat and it will be purple based on who yields first" Mic said as Enel was in the locker room wrapping his hands and arms in bandages. "I've come this far, i can't afford to lose now" Enel thought as he clenched his fists "you'll do fine babe" Jirou said as she came from behind Enel and hugged him "ah! Don't scare me like that, and thank you. I know the last few matches were a bit extreme but-" Enel said as Jirou shushed him "i understand, you had a rough past and want to prove that you can be strong. But let me ask you this question, who are you trying to prove your strength to? I already believe you stronger than ever before and i'm not talking in physical strength alone. So once you figure out the answer to that question come and tell me. But for now i want you to fight to win out there. You got this, i'll be rooting for you, along with the rest of 1-A" Jirou said as she got closer to his ear and whispered something that made his face turn beet red. "Now give em hell for me" Jirou said as she walked out and back to the stands. Enel put his gym uniform back on as he finished bandaging his wounds. Enel didn't put a shirt on and just put the jacket on and left it unzipped as he walked onto the arena. "Okay, let's get this over with" Enel said as cracked his neck and summoned a lightning spear in his hand "no holding back, i need to go all out" Enel said as a wicked grin came on his face. Before Mic could tell them to start Enel had already blitzed at Max. Max snapped his fingers as he made multiple golems out of the martial of the arena. Enel saw this and threw his lightning spear and destroyed them easily. "Care to quit the warm up!" Enel said as he could feel the markings spreading and his power growing "i'll just have to feed myself to this curse mark" Enel thought as his lightning became purple "Interesting. I guess I'll oblige" Max said as he rolled his sleeves up. Enel looked like he was starting to enjoy himself. "Great, les begin" Enel said as he suddenly appeared behind Max and threw a kick faster than anyone could see. Max ducked under it and countered by grabbing Enel's leg and tried to slam him onto the ground. Enel landed on his hands and and flipped as he shot hundreds of lightning arrows at Max. Max muttered something under his breath as the lightning arrows disappeared. "I'll warn you ahead of time, if you don't yield when i tell you to, you'll regret it" max said as Enel started to laugh hysterically "okay, okay" Enel said as the purple electricity begin to swirl around him. Enel's bloodlust came out in full force as Max returned the favor and nearly suffocated the crowd. They both dashed at each other and landed blows on each other's faces. Max threw a flurry of attacks that landed on Enel. Enel was sent sliding to the edge and spat out some blood. Enel then suddenly uppercutted Max at speeds so high that no one even saw him move. Max headbutted Enel into the ground but Enel countered by charging up a lightning blade but it was caught by Max. "Pathetic" Max said as he punched Eel in the stomach and knocked the wind out of him. "HAAA!" Enel shouted as he landed a kick right to Max's nose which actually broke it. "You insolent little shit, you truly have no idea what you are going up against. You may consider yourself above all the rest but your merely a king ina field of pawns. Whereas i am a God" Max said as a red glow emanate off of him. Max then rushd at Enel at blistering speeds . Enel managed to throw his guard up in time but still took heavy damage from each and every punch Max threw. Enel could feel his bones breaking and cracking with every next punch. Enel managed to break away from the assault. "Lanza Del Relampago" Enel said as the curse mark spread more a deep purple spear formed between Enels' hands as he dashed back at Max. Enel tried to his him with this spear but Max caught it with his bare hands and crushed it. Enel kneed Max in the chin but then nearly had his leg broken when Max grabbed it and used all his body weight to brash onto the ground. "GAAAAH!" Enel cried out in pain as he felt like no matter how much stronger he or he couldn' do any lasting damage to max. "*huff* Fine, if i cant end it with this next attack you win" Enel said as he charged up a Gran Rey Cero Oscuras. This is a Gran Rey Cero enhanced by the curse mark. The Gran Rey Cero is 10x stronger than normal cero and a Cero Oscuras is another 10x boost, on top of the 5x boost in power that the curse mark gives you in it's first stage. Enel is at the absolute limit of his power right now. Enel fires the attack at point blank range but the attack does nothing more than throw up smoke. The smoke clears as Enel looks on in disbelief. Max then kicks him down and steps on his back while he is on his knees "Yeild" Max said as Enel in a cold sweat said "I yield" Enel said as Mic called the match. "Alright, Max wins but due to the nature of his quirk the judged deemed it unfair to give him the number spot. So the standings are as follows. Enel Kaminari takes the number 1 spot, Akido Bryce was disqualified for excessive force so he runner up for second will be Cally Yoshihara. The third place spot goes to Shoto Todoroki" Mic said as the crowd although afraid cheered for the three of them.
