"Well Folks, after that frankly terrifying match up we have a hopefully tame match coming up. It's Izuku Midoriya V.s Shoto Todoroki" Mic said as Izuku went up from the right and Shoto went from the left. "My hands are already shaking from the last battle. Most of my fingers are already broken or at least fractured." Izuku thought as Todoroki stomped his right leg onto the ground and sent a massive glacier at Izuku. Izuku managed to dodge last second "Shit, I could barely see him use an attack" Izuku thought as he tried to run at Shoto. "If i can just land one hit, then I should be able to push him out of the ring" Izuku thought as shoto coldly scoffed as he placed one hand on the ground and froze the side he was facing. "Here it comes," Izuku said as he used One for All to jump high into the air. Izuku then comes down thunderously as he uses One for All again but in his legs and stomps where Shoto was, Shoto manages to dodge but is knocked back by the blast.
"I need to be wary of that, i won't let him get too high in the air or get too far or too close to me" Shoto says to himself as he starts to shiver. "Damn, he managed to dodge, wait.. Is he shivering?" Izuku thinks to himself as he notices Shoto starting to slow down. "I need to heat up, but…" Shoto thinks as he looks to his right and notices a certain man looking "tch! I refuse to use his quirk!" Shoto thinks to himself as he begins to get irritated. Shoto runs in and tries to use hand to hand combat while warming up from his quirk. "He's running in, i guess this is my chance" Izuku thinks to himself as he runs in to fight. Shoto throws a punch but Izuku is far faster than him and lands an uppercut on Shoto's chin. Shoto stumbles back, staggered. "Damn it!" Shoto said as he tried to engage again but got hit with a right hook straight to the face. Izuku is a much better fighter than he is and is physically stronger. "Come on, I thought you were supposed to be the top of our class" Izuku said as he taunted Shoto. "Shut up!" Shoto said as he felt his body trembling and shivering. "I know you have more than this, your quirk is much more than ice. If it wasn't then you wouldn't be in the U.A. So tell me, why are you holding back?" Izuku asked as Shoto shouted at him. "None of your damn business!" Shoto then stomped on the ground and tried to send a massive blast of ice. Izuku inhaled sharply as he clenched his fist and channeled One for All through his arm at 5% and managed to punch apart the voice that was barreling towards him. The resulting clash sent a massive blast of cold air at Shoto that sent him sliding back. "Hnngg!" Izuku grunted as he dropped to one knee and held his left arm.
"Just tell me damn it!" Izuku said as Shoto grimaced "fine, if you want to know so damn bad i'll tell you! It's because of my father. He forced me to train and become this..project essentially. He separated me from my family, drove my mother insane, and made me train to be the perfect little soldier for him" Shoto said angrily as Izuku looked on shocked "that's why i'll use my right side, i'll never use my flames, it's because of him that when i look at my flames, that they represent everything that i hate about him!" Shoto said as burning tears rolled down his face.
"I'm sorry.. I'm sorry you had to go through that. But… you're wrong! Your flames don't represent what he is, the flames you have are what you make of them, you are your own person, not some carbon cut copy of him! It's your life, your quirk, YOUR POWER TODOROKI!" Izuku shouted as Shoto's eyes widened when he heard this. He felt something in him, a burning feeling, one that he hasn't felt anywhere before. The tears that he felt rolling down the right side of his face began to dry up as from the right side of his face, where he had a burn mark around his eye. It began to generate flames, it did this until his entire right side of his body was engulfed in bright orange flames. Not only did the words that izuku spoke ignite the flames of his quirk, it melted Todoroki's ice cold heart. As the flames went higher into the air a man in the crowd with flames for facial hair got up and shouted Shoto's name in excitement. Shoto's flames then went out suddenly as the crowd roared and cheered. Shoto then swiped his left hand as large blocks of ice were sent at izuku. Izuku inhaled deeply as he ran One for All through his body higher than ever before. Izuku pushed One for All to about 8% as he jumped above the ice blocks and was hurtling at Shoto. Shoto's right side then ignited as he pushed his right arm forwards. Bright orange flames were then sent at Izuku. The pro Hero cementos then tried to put 1 story cement slabs between them but it was of no use as the flames ate right through them and Izuku broke right through them. The resulting clash of these final attacks caused an explosion that shook the entire area. Smoke was thrown everywhere. As the smoke cleared, only Shoto was left in the ring exhausted. "Where is Izuku?" Ochako thought as everyone turned their attention to Izuku unconscious and stuck in a crater in the wall. "SHOTO TODOROKI IS THE WINNER! HE MOVES ONTO THE FINALS TO FIGHT ENEL KAMINARI!" Mic shouted as the crowd cheered. "We'll give our finalist contestants a 20 minute break for them to recover their strength. In the meantime please help yourselves to the concession stand and our food vendors we have around the stadium" Mic said.
