Suddenly a knight carrying two real swords knocked on Valdez's office door. Valdez, who was trying to seduce Abigail to become his wife, felt disturbed and immediately opened his office door.
"What?" Valdez asked as he looked angry.
"I'm sorry captain, I only brought two real swords as ordered," the knight said as he handed over the real swords.
"Ah, thank you," Valdez said as he took the real swords.
Valdez looked at Alex and immediately threw one of the real swords he had in his hand at Alex. Alex dodged the sword easily and then took it without saying anything.
"Make sure you don't kill Valdez, just make him pass out," Abigail's voice echoed in Alex's mind as she came out of Valdez's office and looked at Alex.
Without further ado, Alex walked towards the middle of the training field which had been prepared in such a way by the knights to make it a suitable place to do a spar.
The training field was overlaid by a barrier dome which had the effect of preventing fatal injuries, and the ground surface of the training field had been cleared so that there is no gravel above the ground of the training field.
"What are you waiting for? Come here," Alex said as he pointed down to provoke Valdez.
Valdez, who saw Alex's provocation, couldn't accept it because he had high self-esteem. Valdez unsheathed his sword and walked into the training field.
Valdez pointed his sword at Alex and then he said, "Let's get started," as he smirked.
Alex unsheathed his sword and then stood up straight on his two feet. He folded his left hand behind his waist and pointed his sword at Valdez with his right hand.
"Let's get started," Alex said.
As soon as Alex said that, Valdez charged straight toward Alex and tried to directly slash him in the neck.
Alex jumped forward at a forty-five-degree angle with his left foot and then he did a three-hundred-and-sixty-degree turn while swinging his sword at Valdez.
Alex's and Valdez's swords clashed, but it didn't last long because the pressure exerted by Valdez was too strong for Alex to withstand.
Alex jumped back two steps, but Valdez swiftly leaped forward three steps towards him. Valdez raised his sword and slashed vertically toward Alex.
However, Alex kicked Valdez in the stomach as a foothold to jump so he could keep a distance from Valdez.
"Heh… nice move," Valdez said as he gripped his sword.
"You too," Alex said.
"I think I'll start getting serious now," Valdez said as he performed his stance.
Valdez suddenly disappeared from Alex's presence and immediately appeared right behind Alex as he swing his sword.
"Back, duck," Abigail's voice echoed in Alex's mind.
Alex immediately ducked and managed to avoid Valdez's sword. Alex rolled forward and immediately returned to his stance.
"Phew... that was close," Alex thought
"Relax, I'll help you even if it feels a bit cheating," Abigail said in Alex's mind.
Valdez was sure that his previous slash could kill Alex, but he didn't expect Alex could dodge it so easily.
"I think I underestimated you too much," Valdez said. "I think I have no other choice now."
Valdez held his sword upside down and thrust it into the ground.
"Is he going to give up?" Alex asked himself.
"No, he's about to unleash his ultimate move," Abigail said within Alex's mind.
Valdez raised his right hand and then faced the sky while saying a few sentences that Alex couldn't understand.
However, Alex realized that Valdez had accidentally let his guard down. Therefore, Alex charged straight toward Valdez.
Valdez smiled even though he realized that Alex charged straight toward him. Valdez held his sword with both hands and then the ground started to shake as if an earthquake occurred.
"With this, you will definitely fall into the ground and-"
Before Valdez finished his sentence, Alex was already in front of him and ready to slash his sword at him.
"This is impossible," Valdez thought.
Valdez was surprised that someone didn't get affected by his ultimate move that used his divine energy to shake the ground.
That can happen since Valdez had always used his ultimate move to make his enemies unable to stand up properly so he can kill them easily.
Even so, that didn't make Valdez flinch and he was ready to clash his sword again with Alex. He was sure that Alex wouldn't be strong enough to clash swords with him because he had felt the light pressure from Alex's sword when they clashed swords before.
However, what Valdez thought did not happen. Alex jumped thirty degrees to the left while performing a three-hundred-and-sixty-degree turn.
With ease, Alex was already behind Valdez and immediately hit Valdez's upper neck with the hilt of his sword.
[You dealt 201 critical damage]
[You successfully dealt fatal damage]
Valdez fell forward and he was in pain to the point where he was struggling to maintain his consciousness.
"Damn it!" Valdez said as he hit the ground.
As soon as Valdez said that, he lost consciousness and passed out on the spot.
