Alex jumped down from the frog dragon's back and then the frog dragon's body glowed brightly. The frog dragon's body hovered in the air and the light coming from its body became so dazzling that Alex and Abigail closed their eyes.
When the light coming from the frog dragon's body started to fade away, Alex and Abigail opened their eyes. They looked up and saw a woman in a brown dress that had a unique design from a certain tribe.
[Lv.190 Terra, the Almighty Frog Dragon has been tamed]
"Oh, I got my human form again?" Terra said as she observed her body.
"You got that body because you have become our familiar," Abigail said as she came out from behind the bushes. "Thanks to our god slayer class, we were able to remove the Chaos God's curse that was within you."
"Ah... so it's like that," Terra said. "Thank you."
Without Terra noticing, she shed tears. She shed tears with mixed feelings of happiness and sadness. She is happy because the curse is gone, but she is sad because she can't meet her friends anymore since all of them were already dead a long time ago.
Abigail felt sorry for Terra. She walked toward her and hugged her. In Abigail's arms, Terra cried uncontrollably.
"I don't know what happened, it's better for me to stay silent and wait for a bit," Alex thought.
After a lapse of time she cried, Terra started to stop crying and wiped away her tears. She hugged Abigail tightly and then released herself from Abigail's embrace.
Terra kneeled before Alex and Abigail, and then she bestowed the spear that was on her back with both hands to them.
"I pledge my loyalty to my masters," Terra said.
Abigail took Terra's spear and then pointed it at her.
"I accept you as our familiar, your life and death are ours," Abigail said.
As soon as Abigail said that, the two red seals on the backs of Terra's hands lit up.
[You can set a new name for your familiar]
"Hey, Alex, any name ideas?" Abigail's voice echoed in Alex's mind.
"Name? You mean we should name her?" he asked.
"Yeah, we should give her a name for the soul contract," Abigail said. "It's important for a familiar to have a name, if they don't have a name, their existence will simply disappear just like the slimes you had tamed before."
"A name huh? Let me think for a moment," Alex said.
After some time Alex thought of a suitable new name for Terra, Alex finally came up with something.
"What if we name her Andrea?" Alex asked.
"Andrea? Do you have a reason behind that name?" Abigail asked.
"It's not really the reason that matters, but I used to have a female dog that I named Andrea, so I thought it was a suitable name for her," Alex said.
Abigail sighed and then she looked at Alex sharply. She walked up to Alex and pinched his cheeks.
"You idiot, how can we compare her to your dog?" Abigail asked as she pointed at Alex's forehead.
Abigail turned away from Alex and walked toward Terra. She handed back Terra's spear and crouched before her.
"From now on your name will be Alexandra," Abigail said. "That is the name of a hero from the past who bravely protected the people she loved."
"I accept it," Terra said.
[Your familiar name has been set to Alexandra]
"Hey, why is there Alex in her name?" Alex asked Abigail as he walked toward her.
Abigail stood followed by Alexandra and they faced Alex.
"It's not really the reason that matters, but I knew someone with that name could be someone with brains," Abigail said as she pinched Alex's cheeks.
Alex rubbed his cheeks that Abigail had just pinched and then he looked at Alexandra. He saw how beautiful Alexandra was with long black hair, exotic brown skin, and golden amber eyes.
"Okay, we now have a new companion," Abigail said. "Shouldn't we celebrate this?"
Abigail snapped her fingers and a magic circuit appeared that sent a gust of wind into the area around them. The area where they had fought before became clean, and even Alex who was covered in blood also become clean.
Abigail took out a round table and three chairs from her inventory. She set the round table and the three chairs with Alexandra's help while Alex just watched them from afar.
Abigail took out several meals from her inventory and set them on the table. She sat down on the chair she had prepared followed by Alexandra. Alex walked towards them and sat on the chair that was left.
"Where did you get these meals?" Alex asked Abigail.
"Where did I get these meals you ask?" Abigail asked Alex. "Well, I borrowed it from the royal palace."
"You what?" Alex asked as he looked confused.
"I borrowed this table, chairs, and these meals from the royal palace," Abigail said proudly. "Well, they just put them in the kitchen of the royal palace, so I thought I'd just take them rather than waste them."
Alex's rational mind was confused by what Abigail was doing, but he was slowly getting used to it.
"Master, may I have these meals?" Alexandra said with drool accidentally dripping from her lips.
"Yeah, of course," Abigail said as she pushed some meals to Alexandra.
Alexandra ate those meals voraciously as if she hadn't eaten at all for a very long time. Alex and Abigail who witnessed that could only smile faintly because all the food on the table was eaten up by Alexandra.
When Alexandra finished eating all the meals on the table, she leaned back in her chair while stroking her full stomach.
"Isn't her personality a bit off of her elegant appearance?" Alex thought.
"You're right, but I guess it just happened because she hasn't had some good meals in a long time," Abigail said.
Suddenly Alexandra was on alert as she gripped her spear tightly and looked around.
"Masters, be careful, we are surrounded by enemies," Alexandra said worriedly.
