Abigail had known that they had been under siege ever since they had set up the round table and the chairs. She knew that they had been surrounded by bandits who were PK players that had attacked Alex and Valdez during their journey toward Inarania.
"Heh... looks like they noticed us," the bandit leader said. "Do not let go of the amulet that is around your neck, otherwise you will be affected by the Forest of Misery."
The bandit leader followed by bandits jumped from the top of the trees and surrounded Alex, Abigail, and Alexandra.
"What do you want?!" Alexandra shouted as she looked around.
Alexandra looked panicked and frightened because she knew that the levels of the people surrounding them were much higher than theirs. She knew very well that the three of them wouldn't be able to stand a chance against all of them.
"Don't worry Alexandra, we can win against them," Abigail said in Alexandra's mind as she patted her on the shoulder. "You see that purple moon-shaped amulet around their neck? destroy it and they will die by themselves."
"Alright master," Alexandra said as she gripped her spear.
In the blink of an eye, Alexandra disappeared from everyone's sight and moments later she reappeared where she originally stood.
"What's that?" the bandit leader asked.
As soon as the bandit leader asked, the amulet that was around his and the other bandit's neck shattered into pieces.
That can happen because Alexandra already has very high agility in her human form. Furthermore, when she wielded her mountain splitter spear, she would become faster than the speed of sound so that no one would be able to notice her movements except those who could.
"What the f-"
Before the bandit leader could finish his words due to the shock of what happened, he was already affected by the Forest of Misery. He and the other bandits fell into misery from a glimpse of their worst memory.
They screamed in pain so loudly that the vein in their bodies tensed to the point those veins looked like they were about to pop out of their skin.
Alex who witnessed that was horrified and couldn't bear to watch it because this was the first time for him to witness something so disgusting like that.
Suddenly the bandit leader and the other bandits exploded, spurting black blood everywhere, soaking the ground where they were.
Alex who witnessed that couldn't take it anymore and wanted to vomit, but he couldn't because the effects of his god slayer class made him unable to be affected by such negative effects.
"I think this is the first time for you to see such a disgusting death," Abigail said as she patted Alex on the shoulder. "But don't worry, you will witness more disgusting death frequently."
"What the heck," Alex thought.
"Alright, for now, I guess it's better for us to continue our journey to the Demon Empire," Abigail said.
"Demon Empire?" Alex and Alexandra asked at the same time.
"Yes, we will go there and conquer them so that the Demon Empire will be ours," Abigail said confidently.
Alex and Alexandra looked confused about what Abigail said because what she had just said made no sense.
"Why does she suddenly want to conquer an empire?" Alex thought. "Isn't it impossible for three people against an empire?"
"It was impossible for us with our current levels that lower than five hundred to defeat someone from the demon race," Alexandra thought. "Wouldn't it be better if we become more stronger first before going there?"
Abigail who could read Alex and Alexandra's minds could only smile, and then she clap her hands once. She took a chair that was lying not far from them and then sat on it.
"Listen to me, your thoughts are too shallow, never rely on how high someone's level is," Abigail said. "Haven't you witnessed how the previous people died so easily even though their levels were quite high?"
"But that's because they were affected by the Forest of Misery," Alex said. "If they hadn't been affected by the Forest of Misery, we would all be slaughtered by now."
Abigail shook her head and then said, "That is the importance of knowledge and skills to manage it."
"What do you mean?-"
Before Alex finished his words, Abigail stood up and immediately slammed her chair on the ground.
"Watch this," Abigail said.
Abigail controlled two magic circuits simultaneously, the first magic circuit she applied to the ground around the shattered chair, and the second magic circuit she applied to the air around the shattered chair.
Abigail fused the two magic circuits in her hands and suddenly a great fire broke out at the place where the shattered chair was.
Alex and Alexandra who witnessed what Abigail had just done were confused because they felt that there was no way she could create fire from nothingness.
"This is what is called knowledge," Abigail said. "I applied a magic circuit to the ground and changed its molecular arrangement to that of an alkali metal, and then I applied a magic circuit to the air to decompose the water molecules that were in it."
Alex and Alexandra, who had shallow knowledge, could only be confused by what Abigail said. They clapped as if they understood what Abigail was saying even though they didn't.
"We will conquer the Demon Empire with my knowledge and magic circuit manipulation skill," Abigail said. "With those two things alone, I can reverse the rules of this world by one hundred and eighty degrees."
Once again, Alex and Alexandra could only applaud what Abigail had said.
"Fine, do as you please, I have something to take care of, so I'll log out first," Alex said.
[Are sure to Log Out?]
"Yes," Alex said.
Alex logged out from Phantasm Prodigy, leaving his artificial body with Abigail and Alexandra. As soon as Alex logged out, his artificial body was possessed by Abigail's other personality. Abigail waved her hand at Alex's artificial body and then she walked over followed by it and Alexandra. They walked towards the north where the Demon Empire was.
