Wait. Justin Lancaster?! Dramatically, I choked on my stomach juices seeing Justin who was dueling with several members of the karate club. From the way he fights, I believe he is the best at this club. In just a few seconds, he managed to overthrow approximately five people.
Oh, not if I'm already in this club.
"I'm going to practice now," I said to the head of the karate club who had just introduced himself as Stiles.
Stiles blinked in confusion. "Now? Are you sure?"
I nodded my head to reassure him. I always win when it comes to diplomacy. Just by giving a pitiful look or a 'sweet angel' smile, people will surely feel pity.
"Okay." Stiles let out a short sigh. He handed me the karate club uniform with his belt. I turned to Mikaela who folded her arms in front of her chest.
Jogging around, I headed for the girls' changing room and was ready to join the rest of the club. Hah! Okay, you can show your skills on the mat, Lancaster. But you won't make it against me, the champion of the karate and fencing tournament. Let's hope there aren't any spies Jackie has sent to keep an eye on me here. If my stepmother who loves manners finds out about the activities of Luisa's second daughter-to-be like this, my life will end. I never imagined Jackie to be like the evil stepmother character in Disney fairy tales, but I can't deny that sometimes Jackie is terrible when fanaticism over his manners flares up.
Once ready in my karate uniform, I walked cheerfully towards the practice site. Mikaela waited in the stands, occasionally muttering 'Oh' or 'OMG' as Justin beat his opponent to a pulp.
I stopped behind him, crossing my arms over my chest. The unfortunate victims were lying on the ground, groaning in pain and pressing the wounds on their bodies. Now the mattress is empty; only Justin Lancaster shared his views with the entire karate club circling the mat.
"Who's next?" he asked in a haughty tone.
"Me!" I shouted, raising my hand with a smile on my face.
