"My little brother is coming to stay with me for sometime." she said while coming down from his desk.
Walking towards his swivel chair, he looked at her.
"Okay, why??" he asked.
"I don't know, he just said he wants to stay with me, maybe, he misses me." Adira replied while flipping through the magazine she found on his table.
"The same house." he said, his eyes now focused on his work.
"Apparently, I have to go back. We paid for the rent and it hasn't expired yet." Adira said with a smile.
She knew something was wrong in her family but she couldn't tell what exactly.
"Do you know the person that kidnapped you??" he asked her, raising his eyes from his work to look at her.
"It was... uhm..... I think my..... how would put it now." She scoffed.
"Go ahead." Liam urged her.
"He raised me like my father but he isn't." she drawled.
"O...kay why did he kidnap then... since he was a father to you."
"He wasn't that way for a long time." she said while her attention was so
focused on the magazine.
"He threw my mom out of his house and while we were leaving, I had an accident." She continued.
"So why did he kidnap you??" Liam asked.
"He called me once asking that we meet up but I didn't want to, so he kidnapped me." Adira replied.
"Are you still feeling hurt??"
"No, I am over that." Adira replied while turning her face to look at him with an assuring smile.
"He told me he wasn't my real father and.... anyway I want to look into that but I have to ask my mum about this." she said while returning her eyes to the magazine.
"I will do a search for you but something like that will take a lot of time since it have been years." Liam offered.
"Ohhh okay, thanks." Adira replied.
"I have to go back home." she said with a smile.
"I will drop you off, your brother should be able to stay with us right??" Liam asked, he didn't want to loose her like he did to his first love.
"What about Jenner?? I think it'll be best if we stay at a place together. Don't worry we will be fine or better we will keep searching for a new place." She assured when she saw the worried look on his face.
Looking at him now, she remembered when they shared the coffee his kisses felt so natural to her, like something she had done before.
"Okay then." he said, his concentration was still on her.
Feeling his eyes on her, she turned her face to look at him.
"Is there something on my face??" she asked.
"Nope but I just can't seem to get my eyes off you." he said with a smirk.
Ring ring....
Looking down, Adira picked up her phone.
"Mum, is he at the airport now??" she asked immediately.
"No, we are about to enter so he will get there by night, I will drop him don't forget to wait at the airport, okay??" Adeline said.
"Okay." she replied and hung up.
********
The night had already covered, standing at the airport, she felt so cold and was already sleepy. Liam has dropped her here.
"Sis!!!!" She heard his voice that immediately cleared her eyes.
"My darling!!!!!" she ran towards him.
Taking him up in her arms, she looked further and saw her mum and Shane, her dad standing there with Theo's bag.
"You aren't alone." Adira asked more like a statement.
"No, they wanted to drop me themselves." Theo replied.
"Ohhh."
Walking towards them, she gave them a hug.
"Why didn't you tell me you are coming??" Adira asked.
"Oh we are leaving now, we don't want to leave Theo alone." Adeline replied.
"Then I guess you guys will get going." Adira replied while taking Theo's bag from them.
"Yes bye..." Adeline shouted.
"Bye mum, dad...." she smiled while throwing flying kisses to them.
"Theo, won't you kiss mum and dad??" Shane asked.
"I would have loved to but..." he drawled.
"But what??" Shane asked.
"But I did it long ago." He replied.
