Raising her head up, she swallowed her pills.
Closing from work, she entered the elevator to the next floor. She had a feeling that she wasn't alright.
"Hello." the receptionist greeted.
Her eyes, to me, were filled with a smile.
"Oh, good evening I want to run a full body scan." she replied.
"I see you are an employee." Saying this the receptionist smiled.
"Yes." She replied briefly.
"Walk down, the third door by your right, they will attend to you." The receptionist said with a small smile.
"Thank you."

"How could you keep this from me!!" Adeline screamed at Shane.
At the moment, she was infuriated, she felt like hitting him. Such crucial information and he kept it from her.
"I am sorry, I didn't want to keep it from you but in as much as she survived that accident, I knew that something was off." Sighing, he continued.
"She is my daughter too, that was the first time in years I saw you looking so happy and I didn't want to ruin that." Shane said, he knew not telling her something so serious was wrong.
"So how do we tell her that she has a tumor growing in her brain."
"And instead you sent her away from us." Adeline said, taking in deep breaths she sat on the couch.
"I just wanted her to get to spend time with her son, alone, and to fall in love, I wanted her to live happy." Shane replied heartbroken.
"Oh my God!!!!!!!!!! why can't she live a normal life like every other person, you are also at fault!!!" Adeline screamed, she felt worse knowing that Adira had spent three years in coma and the other years weren't good for them either in the Birkin's mansion.
"How is that??" Shane asked.
"If you hadn't decided to abandon us then I am sure we would have lived happy and maybe all the times that Adira held her tears that now formed a tumor in her brain wouldn't have been there." Saying this Adeline stood up.
"I need space right now, let me be." Immediately, she walked away leaving Shane flustered.
Indeed he didn't think about this, all those times that Adeline didn't accept his proposal she had a good reason not to. Sighing, he immediately step.out of the house.

Adira kept counting her steps while walking towards the house. Her mind was in total chaos, she didn't know what to do.
She recalled when the doctor said she had only four months left to live. She felt detached immediately he said it.
"Adira!!!! are you trying to get killed?" Jenner shouted seeing that Adira was about to get hit by a car.
She had been looking outside the window when she sighted Adira.
"Ohh I just lost it for a second." The look in Adira eyes was enough to let Jenner know that she had a bad day.
"If you die, what would we do??" Jenner commented, taking Adira's hand in hers, she dragged her towards the house.
"Theo's asleep, you can rest first."
"I want to quit." Adira replied with a small smile as if assuring her that was a choice she wouldn't change.
"Uhn?? tell me how bad did your day go??" Jenner asked in a daze.
"Bad enough for me to get admitted in the hospital." Adira replied with a chuckle.
"Arghhhh, who got you angry?"
Adira still had a smile on her face, she didn't give a reply to Jenner's question.
Jenner recognized that type of smile, that was the only way her brother, Liam smiled. The smile itself portrayed sadness.
