Chapter 6 - Chapter 6

Levi went to Michael's home at night as their planning. He arrived there at 10 O'clock. Michael was waiting for him. It was a two-story house that was covered with green plants and leaves.

Michael took Levi upstairs with him. They proceeded to the room which was quite dark even in the presence of light. The room's walls were dark purple and the curtains were also purple in color. The whole room was empty except for one corner that has a writing table and chair. Upon the table, there was a small bulb attached to it.

Inside the room, there was a door that lead to a terrace. Michael took Levi to the terrace. The light of the terrace was on. There was a queue of pots with green plants and different flowers in one corner. It was making the balcony look more elegant. In the middle of the terrace, there was a center table with three chairs and a man was sitting there. He looked around fifty-five years old. He has a little bit of hair on the left and right sides of his head while the mid part of his skull was empty. His bald part was showing his fair skin tone. He was wearing glasses.

Michael proceeded towards him with Levi and introduced him to that man.

"Levi, he is my uncle David, my mom's brother, and uncle he is Levi, my university friend. " There was a handshake between Levi and David.

"Sit Levi. " Michael said to Levi while sitting on one of the chairs.

Levi sat down. The night that was appearing from the terrace railing was silent and peaceful.

"Uncle, I talked to you about this friend of mine who is worried about some dreams that he is watching continuously. Over to you Levi." Michael pointed his both hands toward Levi. " you can comfortably tell my uncle what you are facing. He has a solution to any problem. " he smiled while looking at David. "You both should talk while I am bringing Teh Tarik (Tea) for both of you. " he left them alone intentionally so they can talk without getting disturbed by anything.

It was difficult for Levi to start the conversation with a man he didn't know and to tell him personal things that he was hiding from everyone for a long time.

"So Levi is that your name?" David sensed his awkwardness so he started the conversation.

"Yeah," Levi spoke in a low voice.

"So Levi, I don't know whether Michael has told you about me or not but I am going to tell you a little bit about myself. I am a psychiatrist. " David said while his wise eyes that were showing up behind the glasses were gazing at Levi.

Levi was listening to him carefully.

"I think before telling me your problem you should know who I am, because without trust neither will you be comfortable with me nor I will be." he tried to make him feel safe so that Levi can easily tell him anything that was bothering him. His voice was soft and gentle which feels good to listen to. Levi didn't know whether he was talking with that delicateness intentionally or it is his natural voice.

Levi nodded. Now it was his turn to continue the conversation.

"Actually, it's been nearly two years since I started seeing those dreams. They felt so real and vivid that it doesn't feel like they were dreams. I feel like everything is happening in the present moment. " he proclaimed while remembering his dreams. He wasn't sure whether the man sitting across the table will be able to understand him and solve his situation but he wanted to pour his heart out to someone who can lend an ear to his worries without judging.

"Did you find any clue in those dreams?" David interrogates him more to understand the situation. His wise eyes were frozen upon Levi as he was hearkening to him with full concentration. The flowers and plants pots existing on the terrace were also eavesdropping on what Levi was saying.

"What kind of clue?" Levi asked with raised eyebrows.

"I mean that if someone in your dreams hints at you towards something or related to that? "He investigated more.

"A.. Actually, every time in those dreams I see a girl, sometimes she is sitting or sometimes standing in different situations like in the forest, near the lake, in the mountains, near the bakery, or coffee shop and I see that she is always waiting there for me and she talks to me like that she knows me long before. It's strange." He shrugged his shoulders with wonder. " I have never seen her in my life. "

"What does she says to you?" David knew how to handle this case as every day he deals with different types of psychological cases in his professional life. The person sitting in front of him wasn't a psychological patient but he has problems that can be dealt with, with a solution that David had. Besides being a psychiatrist, he was a deep thinker and writer too who sometimes in his free time used to write so he has vast experience and was able to decipher Levi's situation. The only main part was that he has to just get the right answers from Levi.

There was a pause for a while in the conversation.

"She says that she needs help from me as she wants to know the route of going back," he said with a deep sigh.

"I am so much bothered by these dreams that sometimes I can't study or work properly knowing that someone might be needing my help."

"Look Levi, our dreams and visions are signs from the universe telling us something, and the dreams like these that you are seeing continuously are indicating something that you have to find out. I will surely help you in finding out but know one thing that this is your path and your life and no one but you can tell what is right for you. Try to listen to your intuition and what it's telling you," he was saying in a soft voice that felt soothing to Levi's ears. "Tell me one thing do you see those dreams while sleeping or waking up?" It was a difficult question to ask.

"I am still not able to comprehend that when I saw those dreams whether I was sleeping or waking up because sometimes I see them at night while sleeping, maybe, I am not sure, " he rubbed his forehead." but many times I have seen those dreams at the daytime whether I work at my office or university. It suddenly comes in front of my eyes," he said while looking confused.

Michael came into the terrace while clearing his throat to make them feel his presence. They both look towards him. In his hands, there was a tray with three cups on it. The smoke was coming out from the cups.

"Teh Tarik. Mom made for us." He said while putting the tray on the table it was the tea and it smells refreshing.

"Thanks," Levi mumbled when Michael gave him the cup. As Levi was holding the cup, David saw a small mark on his hand and it stunned him. It made him thoughtful for a moment.

"Thanks, Michael, " David said while holding the cup, "now you have to do one more thing. Bring Levi with you tomorrow too at this time. We will discuss the matter in more detail. As for me, I have to go now for some urgent work. " he looked at his watch and after drinking tea, he left.

"Are you feeling lighter? " Michael inquired after his uncle left.

"Yeah, so much. When we feel that there is someone who can feel our situation and problem and we aren't alone in that so the hardship automatically feels lighter. Half of my trouble is gone only by telling him and because of him making me feel that he understands what I am facing. Thanks for that Michael." His eyes with every word were thankful to Michael.

"Don't need that. You have also helped me a lot in many kinds of stuff in university. Think of it as a return for your favors. " Michael smiled at him.

They both were drinking tea too and there was a moment of silence.

"Does your uncle live there in your house?" The question slips down from Levi's tongue unconsciously while he was thinking that in mind. He bites his lips after knowing what he has done.

"No, he is just staying here for a few weeks as he has some meetings to attend there. Otherwise, he lives in

Pulao Ujong."

"Ooh." He can only whisper that as he was feeling guilty that why he did ask such a personal question.

"Ok. Then I have to go now. See you tomorrow Michael." He stood up to go.

Michael also stands up. "Let me leave you to the gate." They both walked side by side to the gate.

"You have to come tomorrow too at this time." He reminded Levi at the gate.

"Yeah. Surely I will. Once again thanks for your favour. Bye Michael." Levi left for his home. He was walking then he had to take a bus to his home. One of his problems was going to be solved but another problem that was hanging upon him like a gibbon was the decision he had to make to go for hiking or not. It was

a tough one. He thought to ask about this to her mom. Maybe she will help him in making the right decision.
