Desmond was shocked beyond words at Sam's outburst and that the amusement in his eyes angered Paige even more, but he didn't give her the time or day. She didn't interest him but rather annoyed him.
"You can have the food all to yourself," he said, pushing his plate away from him while giving Paige a one-over look. "I have lost my appetite."
Paige had never felt so humiliated in her life. Who was this taut to order her around? Either way, that didn't bother her. All she knew was that her plans must come to fruition before she left the house.
As a smirk graced her lips, so did a smirk grace Desmond's lips as he approached his bedroom. Sam was beginning to interest him with the way she behaved these days. He got to the room, pushed the door open, and got it. There was Sam, laying on the bed and fiddling with her phone.
"Well, well, well, what a display of confidence you did back there," Desmond said, cocking his left eyebrow as he leaned against the table while staring at Sam.
