Chapter 25 - A Glowing Wife

As Sam sat in the ever-wonderful garden, she couldn't get enough of it no matter how many times she visited the place. All the different varieties of flowers, like daffodils, roses, and dandelions, amongst others, made everything surreal when, from nowhere, a thought crossed her mind.

"Maggie, how long do you think Miss Paige will be around for?" She looked at Maggie cautiously. Maggie's brows furrowed in thought for some seconds before she gave a response.

"I have no idea about that. As much as she makes me attend to her, she tells me about none of these things," Maggie answered to the best of her knowledge.

"But it's very obvious that the miss doesn't like the master," Ann chipped in, causing Maggie to roll her eyes at her.

"Ann, do not say such things in the open, or else Miss Paige will have your head," Maggie said, groaning inwardly.
