Nigel appeared at Wallace Group sleep-deprived. Though he tried his best to look presentable, he could not hide the eye bags under his eyes. He walked inside the office looking irritable.
Every one whom he had called to be present was already inside and seated. He took his seat facing them all, saying nothing and just massaging his temple for a few minutes.
They all waited quietly. They have learned not to act rashly now. The two deaths in one night were enough to make them realize anyone could die and no one would do what killed them. So if Nigel had something to say now, it was either that he had found a solution or a way to a solution or maybe even worse news. They were all rooting for any of the first two because no one wanted any more bad news coming their way.
