She stepped away from the body and the blood on the floor. Some of it had stuck to her hand that held the dagger. She stared at it and then at the dagger that still has her blood dripping from it and it fell to the ground like a raindrop, mix in with the blood already pooling on the floor.
She walked to the woman to check her pulse and sighed in relief when she felt her pulse. She had only fainted, not dead.
"Reaper!" She whispered his name.
He appeared beside her in his human form and she turned to look at him with a bitter and sad smile on her face. He opened his arms as a gesture for her to come over and she did.
She threw her arms around him and cried.
"There is one more person I am unaware of, Reaper," She said, feeling his arms around her, she held him tighter as if doing so would remove the pain she felt inside. "I need to know who he is."
"Do you need my help?" He asked and she shook her head.
