At home, Sam had the same reaction as everyone else. She sat frozen in place, staring blankly at the screen even when it had gone blank, her eyes and mouth wide in shock. She knew Natasha was onto something dark but never this dark.
"Natasha," she whispered the name as if afraid that she would be heard.
She sat there watching all that happened yet her mind was unable to register what she had just seen. What happened was beyond what anyone would have imagined and she could not comprehend how it was even possible.
How did her friend get to meet a creature like that? What exactly happened to her?
