"Wow… that's beautiful." Evelynn was amazed.
There was so much love in the place, a type of familial bond so alien to her. Hope sprouted in her. Maybe she would find what she longed for all her life in this place.
"Do you want me to show you around the pack?"
Evelynn smiled and agreed to the tour.
Sawyer brought Evelynn to a street where there were many residential houses. Many people came out of their homes to greet the Alpha. They were loud and celebrating. Some of them came to Sawyer and touched their foreheads to his forehead.
It was like seeing him was a festive event.
Evelynn didn't understand such culture, but she reckoned that was how wolves show respect to their Alpha. It was a heartwarming scene.
