Fae's face was filled with an expression of fear. He had already been the subject of torture and he didn't want to be on the receiving end of it again. "I was just lost, I didn't mean to get in your way." Fae lied while trying to keep his composure, if even Tessa took a second to remember him these guys definitely wouldn't.
"We've killed people for less." Jaren said as he stomped down on Fae's leg. *AHHHH* Fae screamed out in pain as Jaren almost crushed his leg. {Suggested Host puts points into agility and strength.} "DO WHATEVER YOU NEED TO!" Fae frantically screamed at the system "Oh really?" Joseph said as he stomped on Fae's hand. It was clear these guys misinterpreted his message.
Suddenly Fae's body felt energized, his eyes glimmered an almost white color as he stared up at the sky. {Point allocation complete.} The voice in his head rang. For once in his life, Fae felt strong.
He stood up from the ground and instantly sent a punch towards Jaren, the twin closest to him. *BANG* A boom sounded throughout the area as Fae's fist slammed into Jaren's nose. Fae wasn't done yet though, he followed up with a knee to Jaren's stomach and another punch sent towards his chest. Jaren tumbled to the ground as he quickly looked towards his brother for help.
Fae was in an unbelievable state of bliss, the twins were at the 2nd stage of the human realm; insanely weaker than Tessa at the spirit realm, but significantly stronger than Fae was before.
Joseph quickly ran to pick up his brother as they prepared to double team Fae. Looking at them together instantly removed Fae's excited expression as he got flashbacks of his death. A pain he never wished to experience again.
"Bring it!" Fae called out as he dashed towards the already injured Jaren, Fae was faster than ever before. *GAH* to Fae's surprise he was the one injured as Joseph dashed in front of him and kicked him in his stomach. 'Fast' Fae thought as he stared back at Joseph, Joseph was always the stronger of the twins but Fae never really knew by how much.
"I'll let you in on a little secret since you're going to be dead soon, while my brother may be a human stage 2 I broke through to the 3rd realm long ago, in just a few weeks I may even hit the 4th." Joseph stated as he sent a barrage of punches at Fae, Fae could do nothing but grit his teeth as the barrage of attacks shook even his insides. Even with the strength Fae gained he was far from matching up too a human rank at the peak of stage 3. The only reason he could even hurt the stage 2 Jaren was that he was caught off guard.
"Don't take all the fun brother!" Jaren screamed as he jumped above his brother and tried to axe kick Fae. Fae turned his attention upwards and raised his arms to block the kick, only for Joseph to use that moment of distraction and punch his exposed stomach. "Damnit!" Fae screamed as he gritted his teeth and took the punch and blocked the kick.
{Suggested Host finishes "Jaren" as quickly as possible, Host isn't suited for a 2v1.} 'Oh really? Thanks I didn't realize.' Fae sarcastically replied to the voice in his head. How was he ever going to get the chance to deal with Jaren while Joseph was covering him, waiting for the chance to strike.
As Fae was met with a kick that sent him flying backwards into a tree he was suddenly met with an idea.
"Look Joseph we got him, how dare a bug like that even get in our way." Jaren said as he walked towards Fae's limp body and began to kick it. Jaren kneeled down next to Fae's body as he laughed out "Facedown, just like you weaklings belo-" His words were cut off as he was met with a stick through his throat. Fae had played dead to get the chance to stab at Jaren's exposed self.
"Br- th- hep meh." Jaren said as he reached his arms out at Joseph. Fae slowly backed away from the 2 brothers, only stopping when he was met with the most surprising scene.
Joseph had shoved his hand through his brothers chest, effectively ending his life. "Why would you do this?" Jaren asked with a surprised expression as his body went limp, those were his last words. "I will live on for you brother don't worry. Joseph said as he kissed his brothers forehead and a glow began to surround their bodies.
As the glow faded Fae was surprised to see that only Joseph remained, but he was suddenly at least 5 inches taller, and his body was lined with way more muscles than before. "Thank you brother your weakness will become my strength!" Joseph yelled out, a new level of aura shrouding his body.
STAGE 6 HUMAN RANK!
"Now, I shall end you ant." Joseph said with the most condescending tone as he stared at Fae. His aura began to unleash, and he used his mythic power to raise giant boulders from the ground and send them hurling at Fae. Joseph's Earth Golem mythic bloodline never would've allowed him to manipulate earth that big, but with his newfound rank his powers had reached a whole new level.
Fae began dodging left and right around the boulders but as he stumbled a boulder finally managed to hit him. He was quickly crushed by the boulder and could feel as his ribs were pressed to the limit ready to break at any moment. Suddenly the voice sounded and crushed any hopes he had {Host currently at 3 HP.}
As the boulder finally lost power and crumbled Fae forced himself onto his feet and stared at Joseph. "If this is my end, I'll make sure to die a thorn in your side!" Fae screamed with conviction as he ran at Joseph, he was sick of running, sick of being weak, sick of losing, sick of being utterly powerless. If he was going to die again than this time he wouldn't die a coward. If this was his last chance at life he would at least die the way he wished to live. Fearlessly. "AHHHH" Fae yelled as he sent a punch towards Joseph's. *BANG*
Fae's pitiful attempt a punch was countered with a kick to the stomach as he fell to the ground.
