In a teenage mind, some of us are crying some of us are lying to ourselves to on keep smiling some of us are using drugs to feel something some of us are dying too depressed to stay with the rest of us some of us are tired of hearing their mother crying as their father yells
Some of us don't want to hear the arguing anymore some of us don't know how we feel some of us are in a blank space screaming for someone to save us some of us are so numb the blade of a razor against our skin feels like the tip of an eraser sliding across a piece of paper
when that doesn't work anymore some of us turn to something hotter hoping that the feeling of fire will melt away their pain
Some of us have dreams but we are so trapped they seem impossible to achieve
Some of us have no idea what we want to be when we grow up
And some of us have no way of coping with the stress of teenage life
In a teenage mind, some of us are trying to find out who we are
Asking questions like am I gay was I supposed to be born this way who am I what do I like
And when those teenagers find the answer there too scared to tell the world who they are because of the fear of abandonment the fear of society's judgment
Some of us are so uncomfortable in our skin the feeling can be sickening Those are just pieces of our thoughts most of the time the adults have no idea what's going on in a
Teenage mind
