I wake up in a tent.
Malex "Aw, why am I here?"
I remember everything that happened, I'm just confused about how I got here.
mother: "You got hurt real bad, and you used too much mana. but you'll be fine. Just get some rest."
four hours later
I wake up and walk out of the tent. everyone is at a campfire, I join.
father "Look who woke up."
mother, "Did you sleep well?"
Malex "Yes."
Zelda, "im glad you're okay, but what do we do now? Not only did we lose Nathen and Borriks, but we also lost Jackson and Catherine."
father, "we have to make a shot back that's equally as damaging."
Zelda ,how will we manage that?"
father "by destroying their arcane trees."
Malex "What are arcane trees?"
father "they are magical trees. if you plant some of your magic in it, it'll grow, increasing your mana."
Lexy "That's smart. If we destroy the trees, then they will not only lose their mana, but all that mana that's being released would create elementals."
after sitting by the fire for a while longer, we all went to our tents. I started to draw her again while I was drawing her all I could think about is. why did I save her? why did she save me?
after a long time of thinking, I finally went to sleep.
the next morning
we immediately start with training. I worked on my electricity magic. it was the only reason I was able to defeat Borriks, so I have to work on it.
hours later
I'm sweating like crazy. training for nine hours is not fun on the body and mind. but I did gain a new spell. electric speed is what I call it. its name is self-explanatory. I use electricity to speed me up. I used to be able to run 16 miles per hour, pretty fast right. but now I run 30 miles per hour. and it'll only increase.
I run into Lexy in the woods on my way to the tent.
Lexy "Thank you. for you know, saving me."
Malex "well thank you for saving me." mom told me you stood up against Nathen to protect me."
Lexy "yeah I did."
we are both a little embarrassed. but for some reason, I feel up with courage and ask the question.
Malex ,would you mind... umm being my girlfriend?"
Lexy blushes heavily, her face full of surprise.
Lexy "Yes."
my body feels with joy. she will be my first ever girlfriend.
she runs up and kisses me on the lips. I return the kiss. we stop, and she pulls her head back.
Lexy "nothing will stand between us."
Malex "nothing."
