I picked up my journal and started writing. It was something that gave me some peace of mind.
In my journal:
It's been four years and I have been trying to gather myself. Four years ago it felt like a bad test I wrote yesterday. I miss you, Jessica.
Dreams are big and small but the reality is enormous.
I wrote while preparing to leave the house to work. Max finally allowed me to return to work. I met two of my friends that I didn't get to talk to in a long while. It was Jasmine.
Jasmine was a well-reserved but intelligent girl. She was slim with dark thick hair and a fairly deep voice.
She was the boldest of them all in the Marketing part of the company, especially when it pertained to fighting for the rights of others. She was selfless but rarely had friends. Harry was the new employee that was transferred to finish up his project.
