Max's POV
After settling in as an associate of Alysa's life. I could not still understand everything that was going on. When it felt like everything would finally take its place, more things kept happening.
I struggled to understand why Jalie would go that far to get information for Cory.
I gave Alysa some sign language—I told her we need to give them sisters sometime alone.
I wanted to make my observations known to her.
After we walked some distance away from the room they both occupied. I started breathing in a normal way. The whole situation was heightened by the minute. I did not have any regrets because I wanted to be Alysa's backbone—I ranged my risks and I still stood by giving her my immense support.
"Why are you dragging me here? It is not even a good idea to leave those two alone. I'm so fucking confused right now, Max." Alysa said while running her hands on her forehead.
