Rita and Alpha Adam were still holding hands, but immediately Alpha Adam called Rita his mate. She pulled out her palm from their grip, "I am not your mate don't say I am in love with you either because I am not."
The whole crowd in the ballroom was shocked, only a few people could feel Alpha Adam's pain. Alpha Adam just walked out of the ballroom feeling rejected.
