Rita then became gloomy and Nathan noticed this, before he could ask what the problem was Rita spoke up, "my parents will I ever see them again?"
Nathan became sad also and said, "hey, brighten up, we do not know the future, that is a big advantage, not a disadvantage. As long as there is life there is hope. I believe your story is just beginning. You still have a long life ahead of you so cheer up and live your life."
Nathan's words brought comfort to Rita's heart, she felt strengthened by his words. She had faith that even if she had no idea what the future held she would come out victorious in the end.
"Aluta continua, Victoria Ascerta," Nathan added.
"What does that mean?" Rita was someone that loved learning.
"It is a Latin quote, used in the deepest time of struggle mostly by students in West Africa. It means the struggle continues but victory is sure, now tell me everything you feel I need to know," Nathan said and smiled.
