I woke up and reached for Carmela but there was just a space beside me, I sat up and looked around but she was nowhere to be found.
I checked the time and it was just 6:30 am
' where could this crazy wife of mine be with the soul of my people '
I stood up and made my way for the door but who knows where she could be in this big house and am not yet familiar with its environment since we just came in yesterday.
I started walking towards the stairs hoping to find her or someone and thank goodness I found Mr ken
" good morning Zamiel you are up so early "
" hmm.I woke up and couldn't find Carmela.. "
" ohh she's in the garden with Carlene.. they are both practicing their sword skills..come I'll take you to them," he said and led the way
' seriously...does Carmela even know how to fight she can't even throw a push..speak more of holding a sword ' I taught to myself
" so Carmela can fight ?.. she. " I asked trying to convince myself
" she doesn't look like she can hold a sword " Mr ken took the words out of my mouth
" Yeah "
" well I'll let you be the judge of that "
we stepped into the garden and two fragile figures appeared...and for the first time I couldn't tell the difference between both sisters
" Carmela is the one on a black mask while Carlene is wearing the gold mask," Mr ken said as if reading my mind
" ohh " was all I could say as both the sisters left me flabbergasted.
Theywereood at sword man ship and although they both look fragile they were fierce and feisty clashing their swords together. They both held a sword in each hand and none looked like they were going to back out
" Have trained them both from a very young age so they are already used to it ...
Also, I know you're curious as to why I asked you to bring Carmela here * sigh * well I'll explain all that in a few days from now " he said and took a sit on the swing.
He's right am eager to know the reason he called me and asked to bring Carmela here...
A few days back I was going through some ancient book... searching for a way to free the soul of my people when an unknown number called

" good day Mr ken ..how may I help you ".
" I want to meet you and Carmela.. actually I have something important to talk about," he said and I dropped the book I was holding
" okay we would be there but Carmela isn't doing well " I informed
" alright you both can come when she's better...but we are at island x so you both would have to meet us there"
" hmm.. but I'll be bringing a few companies along "
" fine by me.. till we meet then," he said and ended the call.
My guts told me things weren't going to be as simple as they sounded and we are running out on time to find the devil's daughter so that's why I brought almost everyone with me
The clashing of swords brought me back to the present as both sisters kept attacking and defending themselves.
Carlene made the mistake of letting her guards down and Carmela used it as an opportunity to attack hitting her sword hard which sent it flying.
" Alright I give up," Carlene said panting as she took a sip from the bottle of water on the table
" I told you have improved lately " Carmela smirked.
" And I'll surely be rewarding the both of you," Mr ken said grinning from ear to ear, and both the sisters turned to face us
" Dad for how long have you been sitting there ? " both asked in unison
" hmm ... almost an hour "
" ahh you creepy old man " Carlene sighed
" shh.. if mum hears you calling him old she's gonna lock you up with her pet " Carmela rolled her eyes
" you both should stop badmouthing I and your mum...now go wash up so you'll have breakfast " Mr ken sighed
" Breakfast..if you're here who's making breakfast? " Carmela raised an eyebrow
" It must be Grammy "
" oh no it's your mum "
" WHAT !! " both screamed
" And what's up with the both of you " Mr ken asked almost bursting out In laughter
" Dad you better go help mum out unless what happened the last time we were here would repeat itself," Carlene said
" hey come on your mum's cooking isn't that bad ..and she has improved lately "
" oh we know very well how mum has improved lately dad " Carmela rolled her eyes
" yes, we know about that so you can eat your wife's food alone we wouldn't argue just please don't tell her ... "
" Don't tell me what? " I turned to find Mrs ken standing behind us I chuckled seeing the color on both the sister's faces drain immediately after they heard their mum's voice.
" go on am all ear's ... what are the three of you trying to hide ? " she came closer and both the sisters forced on a smile
" we asked dad not to tell you we still love you so much although you almost killed us yesterday "
" yes mum Carmela is right...ahem we have to go now we're all sweaty and sticky "
" you sneaky brats I know you were badmouthing me I couldn't stop sneezing at the kitchen "
" Dad you and mum make a perfect couple bye," Carmela said and took to her heels
" ahem... I need to shower bye " Carlene said and also took to her heels
" And you " she turned to face her husband and I also took to my heels not wanting to see this scene
" you look cute when you're angry " I could hear Mr ken trying to appease her and I couldn't help but adore the bond they share as a family.
maybe my life would have been like this if someone didn't ruin it before it started
