Life was so much easier when two people were making efforts to make a relationship work even though it was for a short time. Ethan and Esmeralda knew they were putting real effort into making their so-called fake marriage work.
"Why is it so difficult?" Ethan asked Esmeralda. They were in a mall in complete disguise and both of them were choosing a gift for the bride. He could have chosen his big influence to get a perfect gift for the bride but here he was accompanying Esmeralda who wanted to live a normal day like a normal individual.
"You can still back out, "Esmeralda shrugged.
"I am Ethan Westburry and I don't back out from challenges, "Ethan answered seriously.
Esmeralda shrugged. "As you wish, Mr Westburry."
They were dressed in casual outfits and anyone who would look at them wouldn't say that one was a billionaire and another was a top Hollywood actress. Right now, they were two ordinary people living a very ordinary moment.
