Chapter 20 - Storming the Castle, Rivers of Blood

However, one of the servants had a heavy feeling in his heart.

"Madams, that corpse seems to be Baron Spencer."

A servant pointed at a corpse below and said in a trembling voice. In an instant, all the madams' eyes narrowed!

"That's a dried corpse! What nonsense are you talking about?"

"The Baron doesn't look like that at all!" Someone said angrily as they kicked the servant. They wanted to hide the panic in their hearts. However, their trembling bodies revealed their nervousness.

This matter wasn't settled yet as those people in front of the castle continued to approach!

"Lowly commoners, get back!"

"How dare you approach the Baron's castle. Do you want to die that badly?" Baron Spencer's family members shouted from above the castle. They wanted to order these people to leave.

They broke out in cold sweat when these people clearly didn't intend to retreat as they approached the gate.

Shortly after, they rammed a large wooden stake against the gate!

These lowlifes wanted to force the castle's gate open?

Everyone in the building felt chills run down their backs upon this sight. If these townspeople could go this far, then the Baron might really be dead!

"No!"

Unable to handle the pressure, a few of the Baron's wives passed out with a scream.

Bang! Bang!

A powerful explosion erupted as the castle's gate opened. As no experts nor servants were guarding the gate, the initially indestructible gate was now weak and couldn't stand a single blow.

Arthur stood in front of the troop and led the townspeople in. They felt dizzy the moment they stepped inside the extravagant building.

The entire castle was filled with a luxurious atmosphere. Decorating the halls were expensive statues crafted by masters. Moreover, the silverware had a gold inlaid layer, shining with a faint luster.

It was hard to imagine that such a luxurious fortress existed in a society where even food was a major issue.

Arthur walked forward. Many of the castle's servants had already snatched up some things and fled. By contrast, some core members of the Spencer family were now under Arthur's control.

All these people deserved death. After all, the members of the Spencer family had a bad habit of killing people for fun. Many people held grudges against them.

Arthur didn't want to care about these people's lives, so he left them to the villagers.

As he pondered, Arthur saw a few women approaching him. They slowly removed their clothes as they walked, seductively winking to Arthur.

It wasn't a wonder Baron Spencer favored these women; they were incredibly beautiful. A normal man would certainly be tempted by these women, especially when they almost completely took off their clothes.

They stuck to Arthur, wrapping their arms around his.

"All of you are the Baron's women?" Arthur asked with a cold smile. The few women who wanted to seduce him froze and nodded.

They leaned their bodies against Arthur and said, "We're the most beautiful women in our towns favored by the Baron!"

"We admire the strong, and you're more powerful than Baron Spencer. Therefore, we're offering ourselves to you!"

"In addition, we can help you sort out the Baron's properties. As long as you agree, those lowly townspeople will not get any share."

"You'll become the king of this region!"

Arthur shook his head and said, "How many innocent people have you killed? How much blood do you have on your hands?"

"Rather than doing this useless thing, you should go out and explain yourselves to them. I might allow you to leave if they're willing to let you go."

Their faces paled because Arthur was unmoved by their bodies and instead wanted to hand them over to the villagers.

They've gotten power ever since they became Baron Spencer's wives. They abused their privileges by doing whatever they wanted. They oppressed many townspeople as they killed, burnt houses, and destroyed corpses.

The townspeople had long wanted to turn them into ashes thanks to their actions. If they were to come out now, how could they stay alive?

"You can leave now. Someone will come investigate your crimes and convict you."

Arthur said indifferently, unfazed by their beauty. Although he had gotten revenge, there were still many townspeople who hadn't been avenged. Their stories were just as tragic as his, and it was all caused by these people in front of him.

Right now, Arthur couldn't let these sinful people off for his selfish desires.

"You devil!"

"You don't have the right to judge us! When we contact Count Magnus, he'll definitely help us!"

"You must hire the best carriage to send us to Count Magnus's territory!"

"My daughter Carlo is the fiancée of Count Magnus's son. Soon enough, I'll have a high position!"

"Without our support, do you think you can still rule this region?"

"That'll be impossible. Count Magnus will come and annihilate you very soon!"

"When the time comes, you'll be the one kneeling on the ground and begging us to spare your life!"

Baron Spencer's wives warned Arthur with twisted faces. They didn't dare to go out and face the villagers. Thus, they hoped that their threat could buy some time.

As long as the news reached Count Magnus's territory, there would still be a chance.

Arthur looked at their naked bodies and hideous faces. He shook his head and revealed a determined smile. He had already made all the preparations and wasn't afraid of anyone's revenge.

Arthur raised the sword in his hand.

"What... What're you doing?"

"No!"

"You can't kill us!"

"Kill us, and you'll be met with the wrath of a Count!"

"That's something you won't be able to withstand!" The women panicked.

However, Arthur's mind was calm as water. He wasn't affected by their words.

Thump!

Thump!

The sound of bodies falling to the ground could be heard. In the room, Baron Spencer's several wives had also become corpses.

After dealing with this matter, Arthur moved to the castle's hall. Verus and the town chief dealt with Baron Spencer's wealth, land, and illegal imprisonment matters.

Now, the entire castle was in chaos. Many villagers were holding each other's heads, crying with relief.

After so many years of torture, they thought revenge would never come. Making Baron Spencer's wives and children pay for their sins was impossible.

But now, Arthur gave them this chance. Due to this, many people would call out Arthur's name when they saw him. They called him a hero.

After a while, the sky darkened, and it was almost nighttime.

A few people hurriedly arrived at the castle. They asked if Arthur was here and requested to meet him.
