Chapter 29 - Chapter 30 Construction of Dakshgram!

Dakshit entered the conference hall of Vastra.com where I along with Mayor Ma'am Sumati and executive director of Orwell Builders Mr. Devagya were called for the meeting.

Dakshit: Welcome everyone! Today, I have called this meeting to review the model and map of our Dakshgram. But, before we begin, let me congratulate and thank Mr. Agastya for turning this dreamland into a real experience.

(CLAPS)

Mr. Devagya: Mr. Dakshit! We are grateful to be provided this opportunity for it's the first project in the entire nation. As suggested by Mr. Agastya, this project, approved by vaastu scholars, will sustain for thousands of years. We, the Orwell Builders Co., have no words to express our gratitude towards you Mr. Agastya.

Ma'am Sumati: This project will take a period of not less than two years. For that, we have to move the residents to a safer place but where?

Me: Ma'am, we will first construct the large residential building that's unoccupied for now and when it will be ready, we will shift all of them and start our remaining project. On the other side at Banno, the Manohari Garments factory will be shifted and will function under the Vastra.com company. This will provide jobs to a large section of the Dakshgram community. Until the whole project is completed and the government provides it an inscription, Rivaaze Vastra Udhyog Pvt. Ltd will function as tenant for all the residents and recover nominal rent from all kind of occupations, residence and functions within its territory.

Dakshit: Yes, rent will be calculated as per the municipal calculations of Jaigarh City. I want to know if you have any kind of modifications to put into this model of Dakshgram or shall we finalize it?

Ma'am Sumati: It's beyond imagination. What should we add here? Agastya has thought very well about the whole of the design.

Me: Still, I have one modification.

Mr. Devagya: Still one?

Me: I wish to install an elevator system to this residential building.

Dakshit: But, this won't be such high Agastya. We don't need an elevator for two storeyed buildings.

Mr. Devagya: Yeah, Mr. Dakshit is right!

Me: (smiling) Listen me first. This elevator will actually act as a mode of transport. Let me show you. Dakshit, please open your mail on PC.

See, this is a cable car cum lift system. Let us understand! Anyone wishing to move from flat number 1 on ground floor to flat number twenty on second floor will have to travel on foot and hence, one gets tired. This lift system will carry around fifteen persons at a time and run horizontally on electromagnetic force wheels to any flat one wishes too. Moreover, it has its own elevation system at certain distances where it can take the users to the different floors as they enter. An automatic sensor system will calculate the speed & distance and track the movement of each carriers and hence, won't disturb the routes. We will make it flexible to run for more additional floors when built in future. Do you like it?

Dakshit: (smiling) I think we are out of the world! GREAT!

Mr. Devagya: Beautiful!

Ma'am Sumati: Who are we going to call on the foundation program Mr. Dakshit?

Me: PM Pradhan has advised not to invite him at the ceremony. I think it'd be better if we invite the governor of this state.

Dakshit: No Agastya, not now! We have to invite the Home Minister, the Chief Minister of State, Minister of Rural Development and our honourable mayor to the ceremony. On the 'Gram Pravesh' ceremony, we will invite our PM Pradhan and the Governor. They will hear your visionary statute for the Dakshgram, Agastya!

Ma'am Sumati: Dakshit is right!

Me: Okay! Dakshit, here's the name list of other invitees from the town. Please reconsider!

Dakshit: (after looking all the names on the list) Agastya, won't you invite your family on such a huge event? You should invite them too.

Me: They won't be willing to come, Dakshit.

Dakshit: If not you, I will personally invite them. Let me see why won't your family attend on such a big achievement.

Me: You may try.

Mr. Devagya: What's the date?

Me: 10th of February, 2023.

Dakshit: So updated with all the essentials!

Ma'am Sumati: What's special about the day, Agastya?

Me: It's an appropriate day for ''Bhoomi Pujan''. I don't want to make it late like an opportunist.

Mr. Devagya: Okay, it's fine.

Dakshit: So, our meeting sums up here. All of us know our responsibilities. Let's look forward to getting back with you. Thank you everyone!

At college:

Aisha attended everyday of the college during the final semester. She was too a member of Utkarsha. After the declaration of establishment and governance of Dakshgram under my command and in the ownership of Rivaaze Vastra Udhyog Pvt. Ltd., my college mates and professors addressed me humbly. The more fruits a tree bears, the more it stoops down and the more people are attracted to it. One day Gurudev entered the class to teach us professional ethics where he mentioned about the experiences we had during our moot internships and trial cases. He pointed out the do's and dont's of a professional lawyer that I had learnt during the internship however not in depth. He stated about the seven lamps of advocacy:

I) The Lamp of Honesty

ii) The Lamp of Courage

iii) The Lamp of Wit

iv) The Lamp of Industry

v) The Lamp of Eloquence

vi) The Lamp of Judgement

vii) The Lamp of Fellowship

Jagriti asked him about the Lamp of Doubt to which he responded, ''No, my dear student! Doubt is not a lamp but an open fire that can burn the innocence in the hearts of people. Advocates use the Lamp of Wit instead of doubt so that they leave no directions of the case not approached. Let me clarify the difference. When you speak of your wit before complete analysis of the facts and events or present the half-truth of your knowledge to other people, it turns out a suspicion i.e. doubt. Doubts are more actions than words thus, an advocate must be a witty presenter of his arguments. It's an irony that lawyers in our nation behave like a tsar when approached.''

The bell rang.

When the Utkarsha moved out of the class, everyone meeting me on the balcony gave me way and behaved humbly. I felt like walking with a VIP. On the way, I saw my dad, all three brothers and sister Vinita entering the principal's room.

Bhanu: Agastya! Aren't they your dad and brothers?

Me: Yeah! Vinita jiji, too, is with them.

Aisha: Is everything fine?

Me: I hope so. But Gurudev didn't ask me to call my family. Have they arrived on their own? But why?

Jaidev: Don't worry, you will be called into office, Agastya!

Jagriti: Haha! You are often called to office Agastya.

Me: True! Let's have coffee in the canteen. By the way, where's Mukul?

Jagriti: He moved to canteen alone. We will meet him there.

Mukul surprisingly came to us in the server's costume and a hat and served us six cups of coffee. As I lifted the cup, I saw a 'Sorry' card on it.

Mukul: (took his Dakshgraa) Agastya!

Me: MUKUL! You, in server's getup..? (bewildered)

Mukul: (weeping) I am sorry Agastya! I apologize my friend!

The Utkarsha faced me for they didn't know what had happened few days back. But why was Mukul sorry for it still remained a question on my mind. Mukul reiterated the event in detail.

Mukul: Few days back, my uncle Minister Bhoogarbha had a meeting with the opposition party of our state which had a clear objective of restricting the establishment of Dakshgram for it will clearly defy their central power. So, they planned to kill your vision. The explosion that occurred at Mr. Hiramani's workshop was not an accident but a scheme to plot you for defying the Rule of Law. It was fortunate of you that you attended his shop at the same time and saved yourself too. Otherwise, he would report everyone that for opposing your vision, you exploded his workshop. However I knew all this would happen, I didn't tell you. On the other side, a team of criminals were sent to threaten your family and your nephew Soumya so that they force you to step back. Unfortunately, they didn't return. A team of karate students kicked all of them in your hometown while a young girl, perhaps Soumya's sister, gave a huge blow to the gym-fit adoer. He is still unconscious. I am sorry that I didn't inform you about this too but now I understand none should go against you.

Aisha: After all this, you think you deserve an excuse. GET LOST OR I WILL....

Me: Wait Aisha!

Aisha: You heard him Agastya! He...

Me: I did!

Jaidev: He shouldn't be excused. Perhaps, he has returned to betray you.

Jagriti: No, he is not wrong for he didn't do anything on his own. Maybe he was forced not to tell you but now he feels it hard to keep secrets against Agastya.

Me: Wait! Mukul, I forgive you for what you didn't do you ought to. But, your betrayal to Utkarsha deserves punishment that you have to accept.

Jagriti: Yes Agastya, he should leave the Utkarsha! It would be a rightful punishment.

Achyut: Yes, Jagriti is right.

Bhanu: Agastya, he deserves to be punished such that he remembers all his life.

Mukul: I am ready to leave the Utkarsha or any other punishment. But, please forgive me!

Me: I don't want any of my friend to step out from Utkarsha. Mukul, you didn't inform me about these plots. Fortunately, I and my family succeeded to give a perfect reply to your uncle and his fellows. Fortunately, your confession has been recorded on my button camera so, I believe you won't hesitate to accept the liability I am going to let you handle.

Don't get scared. I don't let my virtue die for punishing anybody.

You will have to inform me about everything going on in the Dakshgram all your and/or my life. Don't worry, Dakshgram will pay you an apt salary for this. But you will have no excuse to leave Dakshgram and this job unless I wish.

Mukul: (scared) Thank you Agastya! It will be my pleasure to work under you.

Me: Pardon me Utkarsha! Are you all satisfied with the justice?

Everyone: That's fine Agastya!

Mr. Shaunak reached while. He called me into the office. Taking excuse from the Utkarsha, I stepped towards the principal's office.

Me: Pranaam Gurudev!

Gurudev: Be glorious my son. See, your family has come to meet you.

I stooped down to take blessings from all of them.

Me: Pranipaat jiji! Are Soumya and Diya fine, jiji?

Vinita jiji: Yes. They are together right now.

Gurudev: Come Agastya! Have your seat.

(He urged dad and others to wait outside for some time.)

Listen me, you have yet not started the project Dakshgram while security issues have raised. The project will yet take around a decade or more to showcase what you have dreamt of but not everyone in your family has that potential to hold that patience. And its not their fault. They want you to move ahead but can't risk their life too. I have pledged your dad to help him get out of his problem. And I want you to help me with this.

Me: What should I do, Gurudev?

Gurudev: Assure them that they are secured.

Me: Dad knows that they all are secured. The ones who threatened my family were kicked out of my hometown by my fellow karate artists.

Gurudev: Is it? If so, what's his problem?

Me: I know what he wants. He wants me to step back at any condition. But, we can solve this problem through other way too.

Gurudev: Why do you think he wants you to step back?

Me: Because he cares for me and thus he fears for me. If he knew to love, we would be strength for eachother. I have worked on the physical and financial security but still he fears for losing me. If we don't practise the knowledge what we have earned, it doesn't work right on time moreover, fear and attachments rule over the mind.

Gurudev: Do you have any solution for this?

Me: I can only lead him on the way to solve his problem and rest, he has to do it on himself. Gurudev, ask him to stay in Dakshgram under my governance once the building construction is completed. He shall get his answer.

Everyone entered at once. Gurudev was on call with Dad.

Gurudev: So Mr. Divyansh, did you hear your son? He is willing to have you stay at Dakshgram while you didn't believe him.

Dad: He said under his governance!

Gurudev: Obviously, the whole of Dakshgram will live under his governance. Everyone will have to follow him there.

Dad: But, we can't. And he knows that very well.

Vinita jiji: Mama, the whole of system won't change for anyone. Just like we accept the statutes of this nation, we will have to follow the rules of Dakshgram too.

Hemanta: But jiji, I guarantee life under his surveillance will be tough.

Me: That's your choice brother. I can solve your problems but I can't change my vision. Either enable yourself such that you need no help from me or follow as I say.

Bhargava: That's what I said all of you before we came here. Approach him or the death circle!

Gurudev: Why are saying so? Agastya never lets down anyone but you are all stubborn. If as a governor, he asks you to do something than as a child and brother, he will help you too. He has followed righteousness and he shall forever. After all, I have completed my pledge and now it's your time to accept or not.

Dad: Vinita, did you hear what he said?

Vinita jiji: I am sorry Mama but everyone must follow the leader the time deems relevant for itself. He followed you until and unless it was fruitful for him and others but time has changed now. Agastya says it right, either live on your own or follow him and live happily together.

Dad: Okay, I and his brothers may follow him but what about maa and bapuji? They have lived a long life on their own and if he says to work as he wishes, how will that be possible? Anyway, he doesn't want us to live happily.

Gurudev: You are mistaken Mr. Divyansh. I just said Agastya does what is right. One must not question or doubt Agastya. You are committing a sin by doubting him.

Dad: Sorry Gurudev, he is not the lord.

Gurudev: I am sorry to hear that you, being Agastya' dad, have no knowledge about God. You are gonna live a distressed life and Agastya is not responsible for that. Listen Mr. Divyansh, your experiences are your perspectives and not your knowledge. So, if you think out of the box, you will realise where you are wrong.

Rudra: Dad, we can't anticipate him to do welfare for our family alone. His self-realisation has reached beyond the boundaries of the nation. Before it's too late, let us follow him or we may meet the adversities like the Yadav clan did after Mahabharata.

Hemanta: They would meet the same consequence had they participated in the great war.

Bhargava: No, before that if they had followed the principles of Shri Krishna and left taking stand on the ancient culture and tradition, Dwarka would have lived as the most prosperous kingdom for long time in this yuga too.

Dad: I can feel the Mahabharata!

Vinita jiji: It's gruesome to hear that. Mama, the future who all of us were awaiting yesterday has came forward to hug us in public and you are restraining yourself to do so. I guarantee Dakshgram will the new version of Ram Rajya. Let's be a part of it and hold his name and fame high. It's our dharma!

Dad: I think we should return now.

Gurudev: Yes, it will be better. Think calmly! Agastya, you may go!

Me: Pranaam Gurudev! Pranipaat!

During January, we had our final semester exams that ended on 24th of January. AIM Company, a dynamic HR firm, came to our college for placement interviews (only one requirement) for the first time in its history. It never hired freshers before. Aisha suggested me not to give any interview for I was working as an associate to Dakshit and his firm. Jagriti was waiting to rejoin her firm. Mukul, Jaidev, Bhanu, Achyut and other top twenty performers gave the interview. Finally after all of them, I decided to give the interview and went in. For others, one more firm was expected to arrive for placement interviews.

January 25, 2023:

Dakshit and Aisha personally went to invite my family on the auspicious occasion of 'Bhoomi Pujan' of Dakshgram:

Dad: (over phone with Vinita jiji) Is it? Nice! I believe he has understood what I wished for.

Mom: What happened?

Dad: Agastya has been selected for the job at AIM Company for 32 lakhs salary per annum.

Dakshit: Namaskar!

Grandma: Namaste! May I know who you are?

Hemanta: Dakshit?

Dakshit: Yes. And she is...

Mom: Aisha! Agastya attended your wedding, right?

Aisha: Yes, aunt!

Dad: Welcome both of you! Please come in!

Dakshit: Thank you! Well, we have come here to invite you on 'Bhoomi Pujan' Day of Dakshgram.

Dad: Oh, nice. But, I am sorry to say Agastya won't attend it. So, are you confident that the occasion will be conducted?

Aisha: Pardon!

Dakshit: I didn't get you uncle.

Dad: Oh, no! Agastya has betrayed you, perhaps. He has joined the AIM company as the secretary to its CEO. So, he won't be able to attend the function, right. I am very sorry for you!

Dakshit: (smiles) Uncle, Agastya is joining the firm from April onwards. Moreover, a new branch of the AIM company is going to open in the Jaigarh city on his proposal. Perhaps, you cut the phone before hearing the complete information. Project Dakshgram is on.

Aisha: Yes, Uncle! He wants to live the life you wish for him but he can't leave his vision unfulfilled. He will maintain a balance in between them until and unless you are satisfied. Before all this, I have heard that aunt's coffee is superb. May we have it, aunt?

Mom: Of course, why not!

Dad: Let me see this card!

Dakshit: It's yours, uncle. The whole family is invited. Please do come.

Grandma: We are grateful to you. Thanks for inviting.

Aisha: Grandma, aren't you happy with your grandson's such a grand achievement?

Grandma: We all are happy to learn about Dakshgram. Honestly speaking, Rama Rajya was awesome for the citizens but not for Shri Rama.

Aisha: The world worships Shri Rama and not the citizens of Rama Rajya. Shiva drank the poison and was venerated as 'Mahadev' while the ones who drank elixir remained as 'Devta'. There's huge difference.

Dad: Please! He is not anyone from your family. You have no idea about our problems.

Dakshit: Not everyone in this world has this capacity like your son does. He is a rare gem. But Mother Earth gives birth to number of gems, not one alone. If you search, you will find one. We can't make you understand but you will understand it one day. The coffee is awesome, aunt! Thanks for it!

Aisha: We humbly request you to attend the ceremony. Namaste!

Dakshit: Pranipaat!

10th of February, 2023:

Dressed up in cultural attires, I and Bhanumati reached the location where the puja was set to be conducted. Adding a new page to the history of Bharata, Dakshgram celebrated a huge welcome of its invitees and witnesses. Both Dakshit and Dikshita had xenial attitude towards the guests. As per the Muhurat set between half past nine to half past twelve in the day, the Home Minister of Bharata Mr. Grihapati Sadashiv, the Chief Minister Mr. Kamaroop Vyasa, the Mayor Ma'am Sumati and DSP Bhima arrived together at ten o'clock. High level security personnel was arranged from the night of eighth February for the security of the people of Dakshgram.

A group of five highly revered pundits from Kashi were invited to carry out the religious event. On the command of honourable guradians of our nation and the wishes of Puria Family, I besat on the asana facing east to the left of the pundits for conducting the puja. On the directions of the pundits organising the ceremony, all the essentials like flowers, betel nuts and leaves, mango leaves, camphor, rice, durva grass, lamp, cotton, ghee, gangajal, turmeric, sandalwood, red thread, water, panchadhatu, coins and navratna were brought to the mandapa. I prayed Lord Ganesha-Lakshmi and Lord Sheshnaag following Devi Bhoomi. The Panchabhutas were too worshipped. Later, following the rituals of Bhoomi pujan, the bali dana (special offerings), halkarshan (ground levelling), ankura ropan (seed sowing) and shilanyas (foundation brick laying) was performed. I laid down the first brick for the canal for it was in the north eastern side of Dakshgram and then to the NE of the residential building, a founding stone was laid to initiate its construction. While leaving, honourable Home Minister had to say something to me in person.

Mr. Grihapati: Agastya, complete this project as soon as possible. Do not delay! As long as it's a raw mango, very few are going to eye on it but once it gets ripening, everyone will come to snatch it. Beware!

The Chief Minister blessed me to have the project completed and assured that he would help me. Ma'am Sumati expressed her joy over the birth of Dakshgram.

On the conclusion of puja, the pundits granted leave but without dakshina granted to them, no puja is said to be completed.

Me: Yajmaan! Please, ask for dakshina!

Yajmaan: What should we ask for dakshina, Agastya? We perform yajna and puja for the welfare of the world and humanity. Similarly, you are constructing this Dakshgram for the upliftment of people. We wish you never veer off your vision and goal. That's our dakshina!

Me: I shall never veer off my vision! It's my pledge. But still, please ask for dakshina! I can't start any construction without giving you the right dakshina.

Yajmaan: What do you wish to give?

Me: I wish to provide all the essentials for all kinds of yajna you perform at Kashi Vishwanath Temple for all my life!

Yajmaan: Son Agastya, I am happy to hear your wish but there's one more person who has pledged to provide us all the essentials for yajna all his life. We can't disappoint him.

Me: Vipravar, I bow down to the righteous soul and plead you to invoke him and me turn by turn whenever a yajna is performed. It would be justice to both the pledges!

Yajmaan: (smiles) May the lord provide you the strength to hold the 'danda'. We accept your dakshina, Agastya!

I bowed down to them while they took the leave. Dakshit had arranged for their journey back to Kashi.
