"Division 1, prepare for landing." Announce of our Pilot.
I set the harness properly in my body and I'm just waiting for the signal to jump.
I'm nervous because this is my first time doing a mission. I look at him, he's fine, he's not even nervous at all. Is this not his first time?
He suddenly look at me so i look away. God.
The people here are not even shock to see to be their Commander? or maybe they're used to it?
"MOVE!"
When we heard the signal, we jumped straight out of the plane. Once I landed safely, I held my katana in case there was an enemy nearby.
"Weird!" i murmurred.
I whisper, "Why do I have these bad feelings about this? NVM. We need to end this quickly.
I saw Division 2 just landed not so far from us. They're already hiding in every tree. Before I turned around, I saw Nathan saying something, "Be careful." If I'm reading his lips correctly, I just nodded at him, then I signaled my comrades to go deep into the camp.
While we were searching for them, we heard a loud scream.
"ACCCKK!"
I took out my katana and my pistol and ran to the place where the scream came from.
"Kill them. Don't let them live. That's the order of His Majesty. " I ordered them.
I was running when I noticed a group of men approaching me, so I swung my sword and stabbed each of them, causing blood to splatter on my face.
I'm wiping the blood on my face when Nathan speaks on my earpiece.
I felt a presence of someone coming to me so I preceded them. I make sure that i stab them that will make them die. just making sure that none of them will come out alive.
"This is Nathaniel. What's the update?" I heard Nathan's voice coming from the earphone.
I press the button for them to hear me.
"We're still fighting with their men. We will update you once we see the boss. " I replied.
"Ok! Be safe." He said.
I didn't reply to him after that and continued running. I suddenly felt someone following me. I can sense it. When I feel him near me, I prepare my katana and turn around.
"Damn! Where is he? "
I look around to find where he is.
I stood straight and buried the tip of my katana in the ground. I put my left hand in front of my chest, making the index and middle finger point out. I can feel my eyes changing color to dark red.
"Came forth, Zarakhiel"
The ground became dark and a group of shadows appeared everywhere.
"Hihihihihi"
It came from above, so I looked up. It shocked me from what I saw. He's fast. He quickly changes his position without minding the height of every tree.
"Appear yourself, bastard" I hissed.
He looks not normal, Is he even a human? Is this why i felt weird earlier?
A tall, skinny man appeared in front of me. I quickly positioned myself.
"Your eyes are so lovely. I bet I can make money when I auction them." He said with a tone of maniac.
That's it, it boils my anger from what he said, How dare him? auction huh? I will k*ll you.
"Zarakiel, attack him." I command my shadows.
All of my shadows attack him, but he's too fast and good. He avoids every shadow and quickly kills them.
"Still lacking little reddy" He said with a mocking.
He appeared in front of me, causing me to freeze, and he punched me in the stomach. I lay on the ground and held my stomach.
"Arghh!"
All I can do is to take the pain. It makes me piss. I was supposed to attack him when Nathan came from above to attack him, making his head bleed.
"Fuck!"
His eyes are cold like the first time I saw him.
He was holding a butterfly knife that I think he used in the attack earlier. He made it spin around in his hand and attacked the enemy again, causing him to fall down. When he got up, Nathan turned around to kick him in the jaw so that the enemy would fall down and lose consciousness.
"You alright?"
His question makes me come back to my senses.
"Ugh! Yeah
I saw his eyes move to my hand holding my stomach that was punched earlier. His facial expression darkened.
Is he really around my age? The way he moved and the way he entered earlier made me think that he'd already done this so many years ago. Don't tell me he's already killed at such a young age.
I watched him step on the opponent's neck. His eyes are still cold and his expression is dark.
"You would kill him."
I said, for him to let go of the enemy.
"Then that's good."
I want to kill this shit. How dare he touch her? Little by little, I stomped on his neck so hard that I could hear something breaking inside. I smirked.
It's your fault. You hurt her.
Suddenly, I heard the sound of someone being stabbed, so I quickly turned around to see Fairen.
My eyes widened when I saw her vomiting blood from being stabbed.
"FAIREN!"
I quickly run and attack the person behind her. He avoids my attack and jumps from the darkness.
I caught her body. She was already unconscious.
"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!"
It's my fault. If I only followed her, this would not happen. My hands are trembling with fear and blood. her blood. I quickly called Captain Ross to get help.
"This is Captain Roshier. What's the update, Your Higness?"
"H-he"
Before I could utter the word fully, I felt someone hit my head and my body fell. Before I lost consciousness, I saw Fairen from the men I didn't know.
"Fairen"
I whisper before everything goes black.
