I was standing alone while watching everything burn into ashes. I kneel. Why? why this happened?
I feel lost.
Everyone died. My family is gone.
That man conquered every country like he made this world.
"Quick! Find those who are still alive," Â a knight shouted out from nowhere.
I didn't move. What's the use of hiding from them? I have lost everything now. I lost them, but here I am. completely alive.
I cover my face with my hand and start to cry.
Suddenly, a light hit in my face. I was dazzled by the light.
A man with no face in a white robe suddenly appears.
"W-who are you?" I asked.
"I'm the one you're looking for, The God," he replied.
My eyes widened. What the hell is going on?
"I know what you're thinking; why are you the only one who's alive, right?"
That put me back in my senses. "Why?" Why did he leave me alive? I have so many questions to ask.
"You're the descendant of my friend and the chosen one to the throne of the underworld. He doesn't want you to die that fast."
He looked around us.
I bow to him and beg. "Please give me a chance to turn back."
He looked around us. He was saddened by the tragedy he saw.
"I didn't give those people the rights to let my creation turn into this."
"Please?" I cried. I wanted to be with them. I wanted to save them.
He offered his hand to make me stand, so I held it.
"I want you to change everything."
That makes me confused.
"R-really?"
"I will turn back the time. You will still remember everything that happened."
That gives me hope.
"But in exchange, four people need to sacrifice."
My whole body froze from what I heard. I clenched my fist.
I said with a tone of desperation, "I'm fine with that. As long as I can be with my family, I'm fine with that."
I look at him with determination.
"Then, I will do it right away."
He raised his hand, and a black hole suddenly appeared.
"There's a woman here. Quick get her."
I started to panic.
"Remember, you will lose four people."
I nodded.
The black hole absorbed me, and I was completely swallowed by the dark.
