Jayden looked at the fire bird in front of her and gripped her sword tightly. This was it. This was everything she had. "New Moon Slash!" As she swung her sword, nothing came out except a light breeze but what Rowan saw terrified him.
There was nothing but the fire bird's head was severed from it's body. Rowan created ten clones and sent them to surround the fire bird. They kept using crescent moon slash as soon as a fire started so that the fire bird couldn't revive.
Rowan ran towards the place Jayden was falling to. He could see that she was sleeping and that was fine but she was heading straight to one of the holes that the fire bird created with it's fire beams. He jumped into the air caught Jayden in his arms which looked like he was princess carrying her.
Rowan walked towards where the clones were standing and found a pure yellow crystal laying on the ground. The clones all turned to puffs of smoke except for one that picked up the yellow crystal and stuffed it in Rowan's personal bag.
Thinking of the new moon slash technique in his brain, Rowan couldn't help but chuckle. The clone disappeared and came back with Jayden's sword. Rowan found a corner in the temple and placed Jayden gently on the ground before sitting next to her.
He sat in a lotus position and began regaining his chakra. The clone turned into a puff of smoke which left Rowan with peace and quiet. Rowan thought about the ice bird and then the fire bird and he couldn't help but wonder what the final boss will be. It's definitely a bird though.
Jayden finally woke up and looked at the boy next to her. She couldn't help but giggle when she saw him still wearing the pink suit of armour. She sat up next to him and placed her head, that had still the helmet on, on his shoulder.

Four days have passed since the portal opened and demon beasts started appearing. A group of knights had been sent into the portal and it was announced that they would take around ten days for them to finish clearing the dungeon.
Until then, the people had to protect the gate. Angelique has gotten better at communicating with the lightning spirit in the bow and thus her control of the lightning has also improved. Despite that, she felt extremely restless.
Rowan was last seen entering the portal and Kurama had been having nightmares ever since. She tried calming it down by letting it sleep with her but hearing the whimpering coming from the fox made her terribly worried. A contracted animal wouldn't cry for no reason.
It was the start of the fifth day and Angelique decided to take Kurama for a walk so that he could calm down. She took him to the flee market and bought him some things to eat but the fox didn't have much of an appetite. She had no choice but to take him home.
Angelique walked next to the whimpering Kurama and tried thinking of ways to cheer him up but then his whimpering stopped. She looked over to Kurama and saw that his eyes were full of bloodshed. He then ran off towards the direction of the gate.
Angelique ran after him in hopes of calming him down but he shot through the gate. Kurama ran past the people and opened his mouth. A big black ball began taking form in front of his mouth. He closed his mouth around it before releasing it at the demon beasts in front of it.
A huge mark was left where the attack landed but Kurama didn't care and ran towards the portal. Angelique ran after him and managed to get to him before he entered the portal. She jumped onto Kurama and together they began their own dungeon quest.

Rowan finally recovered all his chakra and was about to get up when he felt some weight on his left shoulder. He looked at Jayden and lightly woke her up. Jayden woke up and stretched her arms before greeting him with a good morning.
Rowan came to the realisation that they had been in the dungeon for quite some time and decided to get a move on. Rowan and Jayden went to the eleventh floor and were slightly surprised by what they saw but after they experienced the desert, they knew anything was possible.
The eleventh floor looked like a mountain range. Rowan gave Jayden to walk in front since she had the compass and they continued on their journey. As Rowan was walking, he thought about all the mountains he had seen in his previous life.
These mountains they were currently walking on had far more greenery than those mountains. He looked at the grass, the bushes and the trees. He even saw a tree with some type of fruits. His stomach grumbled and he went to the tree to get some of the fruits.
He reached out to grab a fruit but as soon as his finger touched the fruit, a green head appeared and bit him in the neck. Rowan looked at the huge green snake that bit him before turning into a puff of smoke. After the smoke cleared, a tree log was the only thing to be seen.
Not so far from the tree Rowan hid with some cold sweat running down his nose. That really was a close one. He might be strong but he would still if he was infected with some type of deadly venom. Since Jayden was getting too far ahead, Rowan gave up on the fruit and followed behind her.
They got to the twelfth floor with no problems which helped in calming them down. Being on alert has been the most important thing to their survival. Rowan took the first steps onto the twelfth floor and was met with another mountain range and this one had even more trees.
The trees kept making rustling noises which made Rowan get goose bumps. Jayden stood next to him and gave him a thumbs up. She then looked at the compass before walking into the mountain range. Rowan could only follow along.
