Tara saw Rita standing on the railing, tears streaming down her face! Deciding to die?! She soon shot her eyes open with a gasp, feeling mused! The first question that striked her was, why did she have a vision of someone she didn't even have any connection with? Was it because she was a worker in her company?
Just what was she thinking about now, shouldn't she be thinking on how to save her instead everything else?!
Tara couldn't even focus on what Aryan was saying, she just felt the moment being paused until she heard the very question he had asked her!
"What did you see this time?!"
She tilted her head towards him, "We need to save her!" her hand still rested on her chest, as she could still feel the very pain that was suffocating her!
"Who??" Aryan almost seemed confused, but she didn't take any time to reply him, and soon shutting her eyes she tried to see more, with her consent and will for the first time! She didn't know she could or not but she tired! She stressed herself and Tara felt twice the pain this time, even with her head and eyes! But she didn't give up! While Aryan still seemed concerned and confused at the same time, after trying hard for minutes, she could now see the building and the way, she shot her eyes open when Aryan almost was about to shake her shoulder, tears streamed down her eyes cause of all the pain, her head spinning! "What happened?!" Aryan sounded even more concerned now!
Tara shook her head attempting to come out of the vertigo, and looked at him, "Who...is that?!" he asked slowly!
"Rita!!" she said, and before even he could say anything, she took hold of the cane and immediately got out of car leaving a concerned and confused Aryan behind, who now gasped as he watched the way how she was crossing the road, the vehicles were still moving and this lady was crossing though as she didn't care about them or herself getting hit! He soon got out of car, to follow her.
"Tara!!" he screamed in panic when he saw her almost getting hit by a car, for god's sake, the man was quick enough to put a break, and this lady hadn't even took a second to look at him, atleast to gasp?! She just was trying hard to move ahead with that cane, and he followed her!
Tara was trying to find which was the building she saw, among these all present around her, and when she recognised the one, she made her way to it, her surroundings now not so clear anymore, and with her just healing leg getting back into pain! Without taking the stairs, she made her way to the elevator and in the mean time while she was in, she tried to catch her breath, calm herself, but she couldn't, she felt dizzy again, almost as if she would collapse now! While Aryan who was now panting, suffering for breath, sighed in frustration as she went ahead without waiting for him! The building was high, almost of ten plus stories! And he had to make his way up by stairs, without waiting, he went ahead not minding his fastly pumping heart!
Tara shook her head as she stepped out of elevator, trying to let things around her settle though she herself couldn't! She felt things around her moving, and her head burdening up! She didn't give it the chance to stop her this time and stepped into the top floor, there, Rita was already present, not even aware of Tara's presence! She just stood on the railing looking down! Though Tara couldn't see her face, she knew, the lady was crying!
Before even she could take any foolish step, Tara called out her name, softly, making sure not to startle her in case she would fall!
Rita frowned and turned her head back only to see the lady barely being able to stand on her own feet, and was almost falling over the cane! Rita for the first time didn't fear this lady infront of her now, like she used to! Instead, she was confused! "Mam?!"
"What are you upto?!" she asked, and Rita was threw into silence, she couldn't even bring up herself to answer it and in the mean silence, Aryan flung the entrance door open with a bang, breaking the silence! Tara didn't even look at him as she was just focused on Rita, while Rita frowned even more with her tear stained eyes, seeing them both all of a sudden!
Rita just cursed inside, she had decided to end it all alone and all for once but them both had to appear like this only to spoil her last hope of peace, peace of death!
Aryan was still suffering for breath as he first looked at Tara in anger then his gaze followed her gaze, and soon he was mused to see the lady standing on the railing, "Hey....it is.... dangerous!" he said, his voice clearly effected as well!
"What are you upto??!" Tara yelled now, making Rita mused, while Aryan just stared between them!
"What do you expect me to do?!!" this time it was Rita who yelled, for the first time out of frustration instead respect!
Tara took a deep breath, understanding the things said in the heat of the moment, and tried to act calm, "What makes you come to this decision?!"
Rita chuckled, "Life was never easy on me! Don't you think that's the enough reason for me?!"
"Don't speak about life being hard with me!!" said Tara!
"Just come down...!" Aryan slowly reached her, trying to stop her. Once he was a few feet away from her, he held his hand up for her!
Rita didn't even look at them but looked down, "You never know how hard life can be Tara!!"
Tara was taken aback, this lady....had the courage! Or may be she didn't care anymore now!
"Being an orphan who got nothing but sympathy and cruelty of the world, it really hurts!"
"After all the misery and hardships I went through, I came to find one man! One who didn't sympathized me, instead liked me! The only man I loved, and was my everything!"
"His death was a lifelong misery alone, and now my six years old is suffering too, fighting for life at such a young age!"
Rita looked up, "Whom I can't save, and he will probably leave me as well, the only reason for me to live a life!"
"Now what do you expect me to do??!" she asked and Tara could hear the pain in her firm voice!
Rita looked at them both for once, "I don't know how had you two got wind of me, but do know! I am happy that you two appeared, but sorry, I can't be happy!!" and saying just that she turned ahead, looking down! She could see the vehicles and people moving around on the road, they seemed small!
Aryan knowing that the lady isn't going to change her mind and not in the state of mind to think rational, attempted to pull her down when the lady almost was about to step in the air, but before even he could, Tara spoke making the lady halt!
"Alright. Just go ahead!"
Aryan turned back to look at her not knowing what was she doing!
Rita was still halted but this time she didn't turn back at them, but still Tara knew that she was paying attention to them!
Tara continued, "Just go ahead and jump cause even if we save you now, you might attempt tomorrow or the other day!! No one can stop a suicidal mind!"
"But answer my one question before you embrace your death!"
