Finally, she is put in the spotlight when her elder sister, Lily, abandons her husband because he went blind, and she ( Lila) has to be the replacement by pretending to be her. Lila is not happy about this at first but steps up to the challenge as she is finally seen and relied on by those she cares about. Lucien, a year later regains his eyesight due to surgery. Lila, hopeful to be set free by the truth, gets disappointed when her sister Lily miraculously appears to take back the place she abandoned and the man Lila had grown to love. To make matters worse, Lila realizes she was just a pawn being used all along and overhears death plots about her unborn child. As the betrayal deepens, Lila tries reaching out to Lucien who treats her like a pest, hurting and giving her no choice but to disappear. Not too long after, Lucien figures out the truth and seeks out for her but isn't he too late? Will Lila ever want to let him back into her life again, especially when she is out to seek revenge? EXCERPT. "You have to come back, Lily. To me. You and our child". He whispered gently, his blue eyes filled with care towards me, his hands on my hair, stroking them softly. I closed my eyes, rubbing my face against his palm, enjoying the texture. How I had longed so much for this. "Our child? Remember Mr. Knight. I never married you neither are my bastard children yours". I commented, repeating his exact same words five years ago as the side of my lips curled up in disdain.

My Villainous husband loves me

I remember the day I died. There was nothing remarkable about it. Just a cold day, in an enclosed space with an angry husband driven by mindless hatred, and I ended up with a broken neck I lived an unremarkable life. Just a daughter of a dead Baron and a loving, doting wife of an ice-cold husband... if I had another chance, I would make better choices. I would divorce my heartless husband. If only... I thought it was the end, that I would drift off into the dark, never to be heard of again. But then, something strange happened. I appeared in front of the heavenly bodies - three towering figures with piercing gazes, their presence both captivating and intimidating - with them was a second Chance. I was sent back ten years into the past and I was handed a national lottery - a chance to pick a better husband but there is a catch. "You will not remember your husband's face or name, Abigail," the central being said. "But you will remember the pain he inflicted upon you." So, here I am... trying my best not to give my villainous husband a second chance *** Excerpt "Do you want me?" I looked at him as this burst of anger filled me up and threatened to overtake me. "No!" "Would you like to be caught in a compromising position with me? For instance, a kiss…." Before I could make sense of what he was saying, he grabbed me and pushed me against the tree behind us and without giving me a moment to think, he placed his lips against mine. I gasped as soon as his lips touched mine. I can feel his smile against my face. The son of a bitch loved that I was shocked to the bones over his behavior. I wanted to push him away, i meant to until i found myself…still I stood still as he kissed me. For a ruthless man who enjoyed killing and cutting people’s heads off, his lips were soft. I wasn’t expecting that. My Villainous husband's kiss made the lady place in between my legs wet. Book cover is not mine. if owner wants me to take it down, please contact me.

Half me and half...

"Get your hands off me!" she wrestle against my grip, so I held her even tighter. "Put this on!" I groaned, toiling to keep her in place and wishing again I’d worn the damn gloves. The feel of her warm skin under my arm and palm wasn’t helping my focus. "I'm not taking you home like this!" "You don't tell me what to do!" she snapped, thrashing to break free of my hold as I fumbled with the cloak in my other hand, trying to drape it over her bare shoulders. "I'm not going home! Let me go, I said!" "Did you really think I got you out of there just to let you wander the streets, almost naked, like a lunatic?" That stopped her. "What did you call me?!" "LU-NA-TIC." "You... You…! Take your hands off me, you insolent brute!" Enraged, she yanked her arm too abruptly and lost her balance. I caught her, wrapped her in the cloak, and threw her over my shoulder. "PUT ME DOWN!" She shrieked and flailed, but I ignored her, making my way to the Commander’s house, which, thanks to Braa, was only two streets away. Since the entire population was in the square for the ridiculous festival, no one intervened at the frantic cries of the wild creature. No wonder in the ten years I've known the Commander, I've never heard that he has a daughter. She must’ve been kept locked away. Strangely, she suddenly went still and quiet. Had she grown tired, worried about attracting attention, or finally realized how inappropriate it was to show up at her parents' doorstep in this state? She didn’t seem to care before. With every step, my anxiety grew—she was limp. "Hey!" No answer. Seriously?! "Hey, you!" Nothing. A bad feeling crept over me, so I pulled her off my shoulder and into my arms. Her head fell against my chest—unconscious. "Hey! Hey, you!" I shook her, but she didn’t react. Panic surged through me. Had she fainted? Had I held her too tight? Lifting her more securely, I sprinted toward the Commander's house.
