Tara had first took out an album from the desk of a table, Aryan sat down on a chair beside her! She opened it and let him have a clear look of their family photo! He could see a man carrying a girl in his arms, lifting up, and a woman beside him! It made him recall what he had seen when he touched her father's suit!
"My mother was blind!!" she said all of a sudden, surprising him who now looked up at her, only to see a smile in her eyes as she looked at the photo!
"I see!" he said, and tried to take the album which she was carrying on her lap, and she let him! As soon as his fingers touched the photo, he could see the moment it was taken! He saw Tara smiling and laughing in her father's arms while her mother kept caressing her hair! Oh how badly had he wished her now self to laugh like that again, seems like she had just lost it somewhere!! Forever? He wasn't sure, future was uncertain!!
She had shown him everything that she had treasured in name of her parents memories, and every thing made him see some of her most precious memories! The room was big enough for her to store everything including her birthday gifts she recieved from her parents! They were mostly toys, and every time he touched them one by one, he saw three of the them, well her whole family, and especially her laughter!! She explained that once her parents passed away, she had stayed in her uncle's house along with her cousin but later when she reached sixteen and her visions had just started to bother her more and more, she said her uncle to find her a new house, only for her! The man had denied, but well, the lady seemed to know how to make things possible for her! Though she moved away, her uncle came often to visit her, almost twice a day, only to check up on her, and later she denied him from doing that as well!
Time passed by as she disclosed everything she had, and in the mean time, though his head began to hurt now, seeing more than he could, he still kept touching things only to see her, especially her smile! It almost now echoed in his head, her giggles, her laughter!! And her callings, 'Mah... papa!!' This almost felt like what he did years ago, after his parents passed away, when he adopted his nature of seeing memories, he tried as much as he could to recall his own memories by touching everything he could though it often gave him a severe headache!
The time when he reached for the door to open, this time he saw something else which related to the very first memory he had seen about her! He paused for a second before gathering himself again and coming out of the room! He now took her to her own room, this time she hadn't let him lift her instead tried to stand on herself, and he said nothing while helping her! As she slowly now lay on her bed he sat beside her, almost half the edge!
He covered her up with sheets while she again did nothing but staring him! "Thanks for considering of sharing it with me! I know you aren't the type to agree in less time!!"
She took a deep breath, "That helped me as well!!"
He smiled, "I am happy then!" he again caressed her hair, this time she didn't slap his hand away, but wondered!
Did he just care every patient of his like this? The very same way?
'Do you fear?' his question ringed in her ears, she smiled faintly! Whether she accepted it or not, she did! She feared falling apart, for him!!
She is a broken piece, and now, just cause of him, somehow she started to heal, she may completely heal or not, she didn't care but breaking all over again did seemed fearful! Wasn't it best to stay the same shattered one instead of trying a new to only end up the same way again?
He, she didn't know why she had chose him but somehow she regretted it now! He made her feel the way she always had wanted to feel and now she was fearing to lose it! Ironical, she was fearing to lose something she never owned!
Shouldn't she just end this all??
"I'm gonna heighten up my walls even more now!" she warned herself more than him!
He frowned at her sudden indication, while his hand still rested on her head, "So you want to make it hard for me now?!" he asked though he didn't know what he exactly was speaking about!
"I just.... don't want to make it hard for myself!!"
They both stared each other in silence, as the moonlight made its way into the room through window, casting their shadows over the wall, Aryan smiled and caressed her hair once more!
Seems like the man was just insisted on doing it though she said she didn't like it! Perhaps he was right, she did like it?!
"Goodnight!" he said tapping her head twice gently before getting up, making his way out of the room closing the door!
She saw his leaving figure then her gaze fell on the wall, on the shadow of her sleeping figure which now felt incomplete without his shadow beside which caressed her hair! She breathed deep, only to inhale his coffee scent which now made her feel intoxicated!
She shut her eyes not wanting to think anymore, she just was thinking about the forbidden things, and crossing the boundaries she has set for herself! Did the man even was aware of how he was influencing her??! She once forced him to be her doctor and now almost wanted to plead him to go away from her, she might even do it if her pride didn't come in middle!
The next morning when she came out of her room, she saw him who was already placing dishes for her, oh god! Why does he have to do all of this?! She looked away from him only for her gaze to fall on the table in the living room, she saw something on it, out of curiosity she reached the table and her hand soon took a grip of it! And as she did, a frown settled on her face, Aryan reached her, "What are you looking at?" he asked!
"Why is this medicine out here?!" she asked letting him see the one she held!
He shook his head, taking the box from her grip, "This is mine!"
She frowned even more, "I thought it was mine!!"
He gave her a shook again, "It is not!"
"My previous doctors suggested it for me, it can only be used when one is suffering with a severe headache!! Why are you taking it??"
He nodded, "I suffer headaches often!" he explained, before going behind her, pushing the chair gently towards the dining table! She still wondered why, "What makes you suffer it?!" she asked, he said nothing for that, "Let's eat first?!" he gave her the very same smile again!
She asked no more and just followed, today he prepared something heavy as if he wanted her to gain some appetite, and surprisingly she completed without any complaint making him smile!
Later he had also helped her walk a bit, at first he helped her, holding her by waist and shoulder! She ignored her fastly beating heart, and focused on her walk, when she actually seemed fine, he handed her the cane and moved away from her, letting her walk on her own! It pained a lot, but the stick just helped her a lot as well, and she kept on doing it until she was tired, he stopped her saying she could continue it tomorrow!!
Afterwards, when it was almost evening, she sat in the living room, checking on the files that she had asked Deep to send for! The man denied, but she wasn't the one to take 'No's' right?! She kept scrolling unaware that Aryan was lost in his own thoughts who sat just infront of her! When she was done, she closed the laptop and looked up at him! She has assumed him to scold or just tell her to rest rather working, but for her surprise, he didn't, and what was more wondering was that he seemed lost in thoughts!
"Aryan?!" she called out making him look at her!
"Hm?"
"What are you thinking about? You seem lost in thoughts!!"
He taking a deep breath, leaned forward, "What if we move in to the castle you spoke about?!"
Her brows raised, "Why...do you think so?"
"I am thinking that would help us in someway!!"
She still couldn't understand him, what made him conclude this?!
"It's too far from here!"
"So what? You have a car I mean!!"
She frowned, before shaking her head, "I don't find any sense in it, even a bit!!"
Aryan on the other still lingered on the same thought! May be, there he can see more of her parents memories, as now he had started to see years memories, why not try this as well! He might find some clues right?! "I am just thinking about it!!"
She said nothing, he looked at her and she looked back in uncertainty! "I don't think it's a good idea!" she said looking away!
"We don't know whether it's good or bad unless we try it!!" he shrugged
She remained silent for a while!
"I will consider about it!!" she said taking a deep breath, now looking at him, "Don't be sure!!" she warned! He nodded with a chuckle!
