Early morning inside a castle, in a certain bedroom a floating quill was writting some foreign words for those of this world, it was Emilia.
'Two days ago, when the priests had brought back the scrolls of ocultism, nothing important happened that day besides them bringing me to my home, a castle. They do treat dragons really well. Besides that, i managed to lie and get Dawn here by seeing she is my apostle...'
Emilia moves her paw and the quill obeys, quickly moving the quill to a small pot of ink and then coming back with another paw movement, it began to write once again.
'Yesterday, i awakened. Awakened in the means that i am now myself once again. After Chronos forcefully fused with me a few weeks ago, i have been divided into three parts, The dragon me, Human me and finally the cosmic calamity me, aka chronos. The dragon me took control as my draconic instincts were stronger than my human rationality at that time.'
The quill stops and Emilia began to ponder what words should she use next, 'Dragon me and Human me became one once i recovered and Chronos lost it's ability to speak freerly with me aswell. Though now she is a dream creep and i can't sleep properly without hearing her shouting at me to fuse with her, but that is not going to happen anymore.'
"Agh, the only thing that bothers me is that i acted like an actual child when my dragon instincts took over!" Emilia sighed and opened a window, the chilling wind aswell as the eerie feeling of being watched, Emilia looked back and the quill started to move once again.
'Making a little diary should be a good pass time.. Anyway, i still need to take a look into those scrolls today. Yesterday all my time was used at reorganizing my thoughts. Chronos also seems rather desperate to get my recognition, by my guesses if i don't recognize her as my past self, she will disappear and i can use that as an advantage to finally get some peacefull sleep.' The small paper flew to the table and the quill fell to the ground, Emilia stopped time jumped out of the window, spreading her wings gliding through the stopped air and steady dust, going into the direction of the empire. Once she was nearly 50 meters away from the castle, it became 'ignorable', it was because of this effect that they had not noticed it at their arrival.
Slowly gliding to the ground, she safely landed and started to walk around the empty streets, there were some dragonfolk stuck in the air, very likely flying before she stopped time. She went outside because there was something bugging her, something WAS watching her and she is going to find about it today. "my dragon self tried to find the source of this feeling but she was too stupid to think of a way to actually use our element." Time, time as an element could be used for many things as long as they had enought imagination and understanding, "But what i am going to do, both imagination and understanding isn't needed."
Emilia lifted her paw forward and a wave of energy spreaded throughout the entire empire, then Emilia began to walk forward the empty streets, looking at each dark alleyway, the eerie feeling didn't stop and only intensified until.. Emilia opened her eyes, she saw an exact replica of her walking forward, looking at each alley way, "Future sight. Simple and effective." Emilia had created a small world in her head that was telling her the future, after observing for a little while she saw something quite surprising.
A small eye was always at the back of her head. "But how could nobody ever notice it?" Emilia began to think this world was too complex, why couldn't it be a light-fantasy world with only a little bit of super natural elements? Suddenly, an idea sparked inside Emilia mind.
"No matter how i turn my head, it is still behind my back, then.." Emilia began to walk around the city, searching for something that was very common on her past life, her nimble paws quickly runned across the city, her sharp eyes could see everything even if it were kilometers away, her memory was perfect and she began to make a mental map of the city, "War Weapons.. No, Tailor, no.. blacksmith, alchemist, restaurant, fountain.. Fountain! It could work!" A mirror would be ideal, but water would do aswell.
She jumped up on the edge of the fountain and looked at her reflex. "Nothing.." Emilia lifted her paw and all the water began to fly up, she surrounded herself in a wall of water until she noticed what the problem was.. "Am i moving too fast for the light to create a reflextion?" She sighed once more, seems like she wasn't going to solve this problem so easily.
"Gaah!!" Emilia screamed out loud in frustration, though she was a calm person in her past life, now as a dragon she has a bit of difficult trying to reign over her 'All creatures are inferior to me' instinct. "Screw this thinking! I'll go over the easy way! I just gotta go faster!" Emilia time element then began to circulate her body once again and strenghten it, she then turned her head behind again and there was nothing there, "Again!" After another complete cicle of strenghtening her body, nothing happened, "I will tear this frickin eye today and i won't stop until i succed in that!" Three cicles after.. four, five, six.. Twenty Four.. Seventy Three.. One Hundred! Once the hundred cycle ended, Emilia felt her strenght sublimate and her surroundings slowdown even more, time now seemed to be truly stopped.
Emilia turned her head, then she saw a grotesque snake eye, it was diffrent from the one she saw on future sight as it was more grotesque, but it was still an eye so her premonition wasn't wrong, the movements of the eye were in slow motion, trying to move behind Emilia. "Finally, besides Chronos disturbing my sleep, you also made me unable to sleep.." A green like energy surged from Emilia's horns and went all the way down to her claws, her claws grew 20 centimeters. Emilia had a vicious grin on her face as she readied her paw to completely destroy this eye, but suddenly the water wall she had made started to flow again, an unimaginable headache hit Emilia as the time stop was undone, from the first cycle to the 78th cycle the mana that was consumed was the same amount she recovered, but from that onwards the amount consumed had risen to an unimaginable amount, wich resulted in her spell to be broken.
"Kah- Aahh!!!" The water splashed on her and wetted her scales as she cried, her head felt like splitting and she was nearly fainting but she shuted her mouth and suffered in silence, the least thing she wanted was to get everyone worried. 'Maybe after i learn more about mana..' Those were Emilia last thoughts as the pain took over her mind, tears slowly escaped from her round eyes..
