"Oh.." Emilia Began to feel the surrounding air lack mana, a severe lack in mana and as most dragons that were sensible to mana it made her feel extreme discomfort aswell as a feeling of guilt, Emilia knew who caused it. "I.. Can i fix this..?" Emilia placed down her mug filled with the waters of time near the scroll corner and began to think of a way to solve this problem.
'Mana will naturally gather itself here again but it would take a month atleast, i took in too much to create my mana circuit.. Maybe i could find a way to make mana gather here faster but i am not stuffing my face with food..' Emilia had long realized her unnatural ability to refine and produce mana/aura, but the thought of how much she had to eat just to fix everything didn't sink in well for her.
*Tump Tump*
The sound of someone quick walking through a brick floor outside of the room easily broke her concentration, 'Dawn is back already..?'
*Creeek*
The door slowly opened, Dawn and Ellis came inside the room looking for Emilia, they gave a quick look around before becoming confused, Dawn passed by Emilia and looked under the bed and other places that Emilia could possible be while Emilia herself was even more confused than them, what were they searching?
"Chrono, where are you?" Dawn shouted and Emilia jumped like a scared cat as a reaction as her head could hear a zooming sound, Emilia rubbed the side of her head a little, 'Dawn, don't scream like that my ears are sensible!' Emilia shook her head to get rid of the noise and spoke, "Here!"
Dawn looked to where Emilia was but couldn't see anything, "Where?" Dawn shouted once again to Emilia displeasure, but she answeared once more 'here', Dawn looked up before looking down again to where the noise came and sighed, her aura started to circulate and strenghtened her eyes and brain, she could see and understand the small fluctuations in the air as if something was distorted infront of her, Dawn hand approached that fluctuation and accidentally poked Emilia eye.
"OW!" Emilia moved away and started to rub her left eye with her paw, "Why did you do that?!" Dawn looked at her hand and still didn't quite understood what just happening but Dawn understood the situation, "I can't see you Chrono."
Emilia tilted her head, she thought that she was very visible? Emilia looked at her paws and started to focus, her eyes zoomed in as a microscope and she could see the very detail of the yellow patterns and scale on a microscopic level, wich wasn't very comfortable to look at the bacteria on her scales but she could. Emilia eyes then started to disguish a faint green mana flowing on her patterns like a river and spreading to the rest of the white scales and analyzing further she understood what was happening, "It's sending my image to the future constantly.." Emilia mumbled and started to think of a way to this effect.
Ever since she had created her 'perfect' mana circuit, she understood more about mana and how it worked. Mana worked like clay, it could mold and create anything, change and refine anything, destroy and attack anything, mana could become a sword or shield, life or death, it can do anything and become everything but to do any of that it is needed talent, effort and vivid imagination like clay sculptures. 'That comparation is absolutely wrong but it is easy to understand atleast.' Emilia began to channel her mana to control the time element on her body by reducing the influence it had on her white scales and yellow markings, as a consequence her scales becomed more fragile and weak but she was no longer invisible.
Emilia gradually appeard infront of the two, spooking both of them as for them it looked like a dragon was materializing out of thin air, but suddenly that thought disappeard, she had always been there, the could remember Emilia standing there and never being invisible, what was happening? When they looked at Emilia they felt small, incredibly small, Emilia natural aura was crushing theirs but the pressure slowly disappeard, all that was left was beautiful odd dragon. But something was odd, the longer they looked at the intricate and complex yellow pattern on Emilia body it made both Ellis and Dawn fall in a daze, seconds seemed like hours while looking at Emilia spirals like yellow marking, two seconds was what it took for them to feel like they had lived a life time, a few seconds was what it took to feel like they had lived multiple life times. But Dawn quickly managed to get out of that daze and she had forgotten everything as if she had been dreaming with open eyes, Dawn blinked a few seconds with an expression filled with shock, "What was that- No, that doesn't matter now, Chrono we need your help the mana density has just declined!"
Emilia blinked a few times, Dawn had just been checking her out for a while? Shaking her head Emilia looked at Ellis wich was still in a daze looking intensily at Emilia wich made her more uncomfortable than it already was and moved towards Dawn, "I can fix it.. i think, i just need some food." Emilia sighed in resignation, there was only one way to make up for the mess she created.
Dawn nodded and grabbed a small moldy bread from her small bag that had an uncanny amount of space in it, "Sorry but i only have this on me."
"Ghh.." Emilia grunted and moved her paw to grab the small moldy bread, closed her eyes and swallowed it whole not daring to chew, after a few seconds all of Emilia yellow markings started to shine Ellis broke out of his dazing state, the amount of mana that Emilia body was producing just by eating a piece of bread was unreal, Dawn looked at her shocked as this was incredible! She knew that Emilia could refine and create aura, and guessed she could the same with mana but she never did it to this extent! But even so it wasn't enought to stabilize the city yet so Dawn asked the confused Emperor to get more food for Emilia to eat.
A long 2 hours of a dragon intensely eating later..
"Blergh-" Emilia puked an yellow liquid as Dawn patted her back, her yellow markings nearly invisible as Emilia was drained, Ellis was catching his breath 'I should of just ordered someone to bring food, not do it myself..' Of course besides being tired he was surprised by how a dragon eating managed to increase the amount of aura and mana by ten times than what it was before!
While patting Chrono back Emilia said, "We are going to leave tomorrow and DO NOT spread to anyone what you just saw." Ellis nodded and sighed, he had to speed up a goodbye cerimony..
"Also leave the throne for your younger brother, he has talent to become an aura practicioner if he wish." Ellis went from a tired dragonfolk to the happiest lizard alive, he could finally pass on the burden to someone else and be free! Ellis hurriedly bowed to show his thanks to Dawn, "Wow, such attitude from an emperor." Dawn laughed it off, Ellis nodded and left the room to go prepare the goodbye 'party' and convince his younger brother to become an aura practicioner to continue the emperor tradition.
Dawn looked at him leaving like a blur and smiled while Chrono was putting out all of her intestines, "There you go, just a little more.."
