Emilia small but yet strong legs jumped from the ground and reached the sky in a single second, she quickly spotted Dawn and dived right into where she was running to and spreading her wings to slow down once she was close enought.
"Woah!"
Emilia never really thought she could fly so fast and jump so height, it was fun. Once she was close to Dawn she kept on flying close to her as she was enjoying it.
"You finally caught up! Come we dont have time!"
"Time is my second name~"
"..."
"Okay, seriously now. Where we heading to, i can give you a ride."
"*Pant* *Pant* What about me?"
Raenir was already a little far behind Dawn and couldnt catch up even running at his top speed, if the wolf tribesman could sweat he would be sweating rivers.
"You are too big."
"But-"
"Doesn't matter, you are still too big. Plus what help you would give to us when you are dying by just walking for a few minutes?"
'FEW MINUTES?!'
Raenir thought in disdain, he never really ran so fast and if he could, he wouldnt run this fast ever again! His legs were killing him. Figuratively speaking.
"Chronos, we dont have time to discuss! I dont know how many time they got, we need to go as fast as possible!"
Dawn shouted to Emilia, wich she simple nodded and landed on the ground right infront of Dawn while Raenir only looked at them helplessly and cursed his lack of strenght and stamina.
Dawn quickly got on top of Emilia, needless to say, she fits in perfectly.
"Alright, hold tight."
"No- Don't hold on my horns- Ow!"
"Aren't the horns the hardest part of a dragon?"
"Yes, but they are also the most sensible! Dont hold them so tightly!"
After a few seconds of arguing of where Dawn should hold or what not, Dawn just decided to attatch herself on Emilia with her aura.
"Ready?"
Emilia didn't wait for an answear and just launched her self to the sky once again, Raenir was looking at them in awe, "Dragons truly are impressive.."
Raenir had kept his guard up since Dawn and Emilia had entered the village, he didn't bite the whole Spiritual Firefly thing. But seeing a dragon so eagerly to help them makes him wonder if whatever is written in the ancient scriptures are right.
Dawn was caught a little off guard by Emilia sudden launch, thankfully she also had strenghtened her body with aura or else something not so pleasant would have happened, Dawn quickly found the spot she was searching, "There!"
Dawn pointed towards the Tainzer planice once again, Emilia quickly flew at a speed comparable to Mach 1.7, reaching there in an instant.
Quickly landing Dawn got off and unsheated her sword, it started to glow with a terrifying yellow aura that even made Emilia scales tingle. A mix of the gravity element and thunder element.
She slashed down towards the ground, a huge black energy pillar burst forth, purple lightning could be seen traveling around the yellow pillar as it grew bigger each milesecond completely obliterating the land infront of them, revealing something terrifying.. The Tainzer Planices ground was actually.. Just a giant mushroom with a plain head that grew some grass on! No, in fact, the Tainzer planices was made out of various massive mushrooms!
Dawn pulls out a flask with grey liquid and drank it, probably a potion. Meanwhile Emilia just stood there utterly surprised wondering how did she almost lost to that Elf back then..
"Dawn.."
"Whatever it is i will answear it later, we dont have time now.. I can't even think what would happen if i-"
"Calm down Dawn, we'll do everything right! Just be optimist as you usually are, we can do this!"
"Y-yes.. We will probably get there in time.."
Emilia felt a little bad looking at Dawn, she could feel a little bit of despair in her voice together with a little bit of sadness.
"Alright, i will do a quick check to see if i spot any bad guy!"
As Emilia said that, she quickly approached the huge fissure on the ground, though she quickly turned her head. It had a putrid smell of something roting, mushrooms glowing everywhere and weird transparent plants.
"Blergh- I think im gonna-"
Having a very sensible nose has it's advantages and disadvantages, Emilia turned her head and started barfing.
Dawn looked straight down and grabbed the small ring that was in one of her horns, once the ring was in her hand it started to shine brightly as a small green barrier appeard around Dawn.
"Ugh.."
Once the barrier was stable Dawn turned her head and went on to check on Emilia.
"..Chrono is this your blood?"
"I dont know..? Ugh.. I think i'm having a stomach ache.."
There was an yellow liquid on the ground, it was the same consistency of Emilia blood early and the color is identical.
"Chrono if you arent feeling good you can stay and i can go alone-"
"No! I can go too! I dont know what might happen to you down there, i will come along!"
"Are you feeling fine..?"
"Trust me Dawn, never better!"
Emilia wiped the blood out of her mouth and got back up, straightened her back to look as majestic as she could.
"See? I'm fine!"
Dawn looked at Emilia a little worried, she would argue more but Dawn doesn't think she has that much time.
"Alright, i trust you."
Dawn looked down once more before taking out a small red ball a little bit bigger than the size of her hand.. Well the red ball was the size of a tenis ball but kobolds are small.
"What is that?"
"Iluminating rune stone, it should be enought to push some of the infected back if there are any down there.."
Emilia took another look deep inside the fissure that Dawn created, her nostrils had already adapted to the smell, it wasn't as bad as before but it was still bad.
"I'll go in first and Chronos, always stay close to me and if you feel sick again tell me."
"Don't worry, i'll be just fine!"
"..Are you sure you are feeling fine?"
"I am!"
Dawn looked at Emilia but this time more worried, she wanted her to stay here.. Dawn nodded at Emilia response and jumped down, it was a fall of 40 meter's but Dawn was a Full Aura enhancer master, even a fall of 100 meters with her body enhanced might just make her legs feel a little bit numb.
Emilia followed right behind, slowly flying down..
