"This.."
Dawn looked at the lapids, the language written on then is similar to draconic but at the same time it's diffrent, Dawn couldn't read them.
Dawn looked ahead and saw a gravestone with a image of another gravestone and a moon on the sky. Dawn started to search elsewhere, she regarded that as not important and started to check the ground and there were four constelations engraved on the ground.
While Dawn was inspecting the constelations, Emilia looked at the gravestone Dawn looked a few seconds ago, she felt that the place depicted in there was familiar but also disregarded it so she began to look into the other grave stones, there were 11 in total. Once Emilia looked into the gravestones she felt something was off but right at the same time giving an eerie feeling, as she looked at the words in the gravestone she felt euphoria, pleasure, satisfaction. It was like a highly addicting drug, incentivating to someone to read it.
"The Sword Spirit once cleansed all the Greater Cosmos and a part of the True Cosmos, erasing a part of creation to destroy the Light, upon it's destruction all souls were free'd from the course and so, the Sword Spirit disappeard and only returned after a long time passed.."
Once she finished reading, the words flew out of the gravestone and were absorbed by Emilia's pattern on her body. They started to move and become more thick.
An extreme sensation of joy and satisfaction filled Emilia's mind and she subconsiously had already walked to the next one..
"The Sword Spirit created other Great Cosmos and Cosmos, using the power bestowed by the Asura Foundation to support the transcendent rules, pillars of reality and natural laws. Then the Sword Spirit gave all lower beings power to shape their future."
Once again the letters disappeard and were absorbed by Emilia's patterns together with the urge to feel that same euphoria once more, she walked to another gravestone.
"Mana, Aether, Spatial Energy, Vital Energy, Nether, Decadence and Eternatus. The pure energy of creation that the Sword Spirit had created those powers, they were all directly created by the Sword Spirit, except one, Aura. Aura was the natural gift of the Asura Foundation."
While Emilia was reading the gravestones Dawn seemed to have figured something.
"Those constelations look oddly like Chrono patterns.."
Suddenly something in Dawn head clicked, she quickly grabbed her book from her magical bag and started to quickly flip the pages until she was at one where there were weird symbols.
"If any church saw that i had written those down, i'd be burned alive.."
Dawn looked at the constelation then back to the book, she was searching for a symbol that looked like the constelation but after analyzing the symbols, there was none that looked like the constelation.
"Maybe im just thinking too much?"
Dawn walked to the next constelation that was engraved on the ground and once again, there was no result.
"I'm wasting my time on this.."
Dawn closed her book and started to inspect the surroundings once again.
"Dawn! I think i fugred it out!"
Since Emilia read the last words engraved in the gravestone, she felt complete and the need for more has vanished, her patterns on her body became more apparent aswell as it spreaded more.
"Really!?"
Dawn looked at Emilia in relief, they couldn't get stuck in a puzzle room for hours, right?
"Yes, after reading that weird gravestones, i figured it out!"
"Were those gravestones written in a lenguage you knew?"
"Yes..? I dunno, i just kinda knew what was written."
While it was weird, Dawn thought that it wasn't that weird. Most kobolds also learn draconic naturally, nobody teachs them.
"So what was written on them?"
"Some stuff about aura and power stuff, but what was important was something in the lines of, 'Only the dragon that manipulate time may reach the truth in the stars' so it became quite obvious."
"It is like this whole thing was made for you.."
"I dont think so, i hate puzzles."
Emilia smiled towards Dawn and walked forward to the constelations engraved on the ground. There were four constelations in a triangle shape three at the sides one at the middle. Emilia went straight towards the middle one and Dawn followed right behind her.
"It looks oddly like those markings on you, they also seem to have gotten bigger."
"Markings- Oh those are.. those are..? I feel like i know why they are there but i dont remember.."
"Let's think about it later, now we need to find the Concentrated Nucleos."
"Alrighty!"
Once she stepped onto the constelation, the moon carved on that gravestone at the beginning started to shine.
Neither of them could react and were instantly absorbed by a golden light.. And eventually, everything went dark.
But suddenly a voice could be heard
"Dawn! Wake up! Have you forgot what day is it!?"
At this moment, everything changed, Dawn was back to the outside area of a town where she was born, to be more specific, under a tree she usually used to sleep.
Today it was the day she became an adult! Full 8 years! Also the day she would take avaliation to see if she was able to use aura.
Today was also the day her adventure began.
Another kobold was infront of Dawn, a familiar one that she hadn't seein for more than 150 years.
"Kaer? I-is that you?"
"Of course it's me! Who else would it be other than i, the great, the most handsome, the perfect Kaer!!"
Dawn was slightly shocked but then a feeling of sadness hit her, her brain had purposly forgotten about Kaer because of what happened to him afterall this was normal for most Aura Practicioners to purposely forget about things or choose not to remember. Dawn could remember exactly how he was gutted alive and dilacerated.
"C'mon Dawn! We can't be late for the first step of our dream to help people like those story tellers tell us every once in a while! Slay abomination, combat evil and more!"
"K-kaer!"
Dawn face was filled with tears.
"D-Dawn? What happened? Did i do something-"
Dawn hugged her brother as tightly as she could.
Kaer was about 1 meter tall, he was a giant to kobolds wich avagered between 60-75 centimeters tall, Dawn was also big but not that much.
Kaer petted Dawn head slowly as he said;
"It's fine Dawn, you probably just had a bad dream. Im here with you right now!"
"I-im-"
Dawn slowly let go of Kaer but her hearth still ached, after all she knew this wasn't real, it just can't be real.. but still, it wouldn't hurt to stay a little bit then find a way out.
"Let's go get the avaliation!"
Kaer grabbed Dawn hand and slowly led the way towards the Town...
