[System booting up..]
Robert was laying on the ground and he has been unconsious for 4 days, just now he seems to be coming back.
[Restrictions set to not search for any Pure Soul or Transcendental Soul related species.]
"Ugh.."
[Congratulations! You found the cause of the rumors to be true and so your investigation skills develop.]
A sudden wave of informations hit his brain, Robert almost faints as the amount of information was huge.
After two hours, Robert finally manages to assimilate the new information and sits down to look at the dark sky filled with stars.
".. Casters create their vessel on the spirit while enhancers create one on their body's. A caster strenght doesn't come from a single person, but from multiple. An enhancer strenght is individual diffrent from the caster.."
"One can become both a caster and enhancer though it is not recomended.. The basic elements are fire, earth, wind, thunder, water, life and death. Huh, i thought the last two would be more rare.."
"The rare elements are: Metal, Illusion, Nature, Gravity, Mist, Ice and Magma.."
"And finally to create an Aura Vessel it is needed great mental fortitude.. Huh? Why mental fortitude?"
[The path of an Aura Practicioner is a cruel one, as Aura Practicioners shouldn't seek glory or fame, they exist to fight against their mortality but at the same time become one with it, their will shall be broken multiple times, their sanity will dwindle and in most cases they end up insane.]
"So the body does not matter?"
[It does, but if you dont have a good mental fortitude it is better to have a 100 year life span being happy than an enternity of suffering.]
"..How does most Aura Practicioner die?"
[Suicide.]
[Of course, there are one's that choose to accept the madness once they become insane but then they end up fusing with Chaos.]
"I'd guess fusing with Chaos is bad."
[There are also one's that deviate from the path of an Aura Practicioner and bask in glory, lust, riches. That usually permanently stops their Aura Flow, but on the good side, they wont be tormented by evil anymore. An Aura Practicioner mind is the barrier between eldritch abominations and the mortals, their existence stops the unknown from bleeding into the reality.]
"Huh.. You are also pretty talkative today system."
"System? Oh well there he goes."
At this moment an idea started to brew inside of Robert's mind, though he was quite an ambitionless blob back on earth, here he had power. Here he had information and the oportunity to become the strongest!
"With the system, i can have all the information about this world and use this information to rule over this wolrd! I will become the emperor of all humans! No, i will be the emperor of this universe!"
Of course, Robert feigned ignorance as he didnt know of any other race or the possible danger that the cosmos could hold. Robert looked up and the starry sky as he started to formulate a plan to gather followers.
...
Meanwhile, a certain super hero was doing push ups. Of course this super hero was James, he had separated from the group of humans that he was in after noticing all of them were psycho's and sick people. There were 3 rapists, a guy that was obsessed with corpses, two poor womans that have been drugged by weird red grass to the point they became mentally disabled and a dude that is extremely abusive, he saw him one night kicking one of those womans and finding joy in that, at that point he didnt know who was the worst, those rapist or that abusive guy. That group was doomed to fall apart.
Neverthless, he doesn't want anything to do with them so he separated and started training. There also seems to be goblins around where he is, they aren't strong but are good to increase his combat experience.
'This feeling again..'
James could feel a weird flow in his body trying to coagulate and form something, but it always dismantled itself.. So James decided usually ignored it and keep training, he was training in the middle of the forest at night, he had no fear of being ambushed as his 5 senses were way better than when he was back on earth.
After a few minutes, James stopped and looked up as a cold breeze brushed past him, bringing past memories as he missed a little the safe enverioment of Earth.
"Man, i miss Earth.. I miss the food, the comfort of a nice sofa and coffee or simply working at my office."
"..Okay the office part was a lie, i hated that job."
"I wonder how my sister is.. She surely hasn't transmigrated to this place, right?"
James sighed, he had rested enought and was about to find a place for him to sleep until he saw a light not so far away..
'Could it be other humans?'
James thought excitedly, though he had separated from the other humans not long ago, he was quite a social guy, he couldn't stand being alone.
He slowly approached the source of light while making sure to not make any noise, once he got close enough James found a bush to hide as he spied on those who made the fire.
There was something similar to a kobold and a dwarf, the kobold had a shield and a short sword while he was completely naked as all kobolds are since they have strong scales to protect their body, the dwarf had a small bag close to a tree and was wearing leather armor with an axe laying close to him. Needless to say, kobolds are smaller than dwarfes.
The kobold was walking around the campfire speaking some unknown lenguage, but he could guess that he was telling some sort of story, he was even making representations using his hands to make shadows while the dwarf was laughing.
But the moment James looked at the kobold, the dwarf looked directly at him, as if he knew he was there.
The dwarf got up and picked up an axe, the kobold looked at the dwarf a little nervous and hid behind him.
In an instant, the dwarf got infront of the bush James was hiding and pulled him with one hand, his strenght was formidable as he seemed to have pulled James with no effort.
But the moment the dwarf saw James, he was stunend for a moment. The same was for the kobold.
The dwarf spoke some foreign lenguage once again, but James didn't understand any of it.
"What?"
Both the dwarf and kobold noticed the problem, the dwarf went back to where he was and reached for something in his bag, a small black cube that the moment he touched it the cube started to shine.
"Testing 1, 2.."
"!"
James was surely surprised to see the dwarf now speaking the same lenguage as him, or rather it wasn't the same lenguage but something else was happening..
"Alright, seems it's working.. So, what are you?"
"Whuh? I'm a human?"
"..Are there other like you?"
"Yes?"
The dwarf sussured something to the kobold before speaking once again.
"My name is Gandar and that scaly thing is Rel."
"James, nice to meet you!"
"Do you have any other clothes?"
"No.."
"You are going to get sick that way!" The dwarf said as he looked at the classic super hero outfit that James always wore since he was transmigrated.
Gandar and James kept on talking for another 20 minutes, it seems both of them are going to some sort of underground city where there are many dwarfes to get some new weapons for Rel. Rel didn't talk at all, he seemed rather timid but he seems to be quite powerfull aswell.
Rel looked to Gandar wich he nodded, then he suddenly brought out a small blue crystal and handed it to James.
"It's a gift for me? Thanks!"
The blue crystal shattered the moment he touched it, both Gandar and Rel looked at James with a surprised face.
"O-oh sorry! I didn't mean to-"
"We found a genius! To be able to break a potential avaliating crystal, both his talent and potential must exceed 5 score points!"
"Ahem-, James, mind you coming with us? We can teach you draconic lenguage and probably get you new clothes aswell as telling how important Aura Practicioners are for the mortals!"
James nodded as he had nothing to lose, he might even get some information about this world! That decision would soon reveal an arduous destiny ahead of him, a path filled with thorns and blood, a path that all Aura Practicioners must thread to protect all mortals.
