The rain was coming down in sheets, drenching everything in sight. The small town of hallow grove seemed almost deserted on this wet and dreary day. The normally bustling streets were quieter than usual, the few brave souls braving the elements had their heads down and hoods pulled tight over their heads.
The shops and cafes that usually provided a haven of warmth and refuge were mostly closed, their proprietors probably enjoying the rare break from the constant hustle and bustle of the town.
In one of the few open storefronts, a quaint little bookshop nestled between a florist and a bakery, a small group of people huddled together for warmth and company. The cozy shop was filled with hushed whispers and the sound of rain pattering against the window panes.
The shelves were lined with books of every genre, from romance to sci-fi, all illuminated by the warm glow of the store's many lamps. The air was thick with the aroma of coffee and freshly baked bread from the bakery next door.
In a corner by the window, a young lady sat reading a book, oblivious to the world around her. She had a cup of coffee in one hand and a blanket draped over her legs, a perfect picture of peace and serenity. A group of friends sat around a small table in the center of the store, chatting and laughing as they played a board game. An older couple sat in the armchairs by the fireplace, holding hands and gazing contentedly into the flames.
"Fuck this rain isn't going to stop anytime huh?," Sitting across her, a young man with short brown hair groaned with a sigh. He had been trapped in this bookshop for the past two hours. He had beautiful brown eyes and a feminine look complemented by his full red lips.
He lifted his gaze to the lady lured and captivated by the book in her arms. The girl has luscious black hair that falls in soft waves around her face, framing her delicate features. Her striking green eyes are framed by a pair of stylish round glasses that complement her confident and intellectual vibe.
Her skin is porcelain smooth, and she exuded a quiet elegance that draws others towards her, radiating grace and sophistication.
"Did they make out yet Alexa?," He asked to which she replied
"Not yet Ethan, but I'm getting to the good part, now shut up, quit whining like a baby, and let me read in peace," She lifted her gaze for a second to throw a mockery glare.
Alexandra, twenty years old, an aspiring journalist was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver, the owner of the bookshop where she worked part-time as the store manager and the brown-haired man, Ethan as her assistant.
"You know, you could pick up a book to pass the time, instead of flirting with every girl that walks into the store," She said raising a brow
"Hey it isn't my fault I'm too pretty and the ladies can't seem to stay away," He boasted with a smirk earning an eye roll from Alexa.
"What the hell," He got up from his seat and moved towards the windows with a frown on his face, "Seems like we have got visitors,"
"Neighbors?," She asked putting down the book. Hallow Groove rarely had any visitors, it was a small town on the outskirts of the city.
"I think outsiders," He said while the people inside the shop moved towards the window to get a better view of the outsiders.
In the darkness of the rainy night, two cars emerge from the fog on a desolate highway. One at top speed in comparison to the other. The tires of the cars screech as they come to a sudden stop outside Mr. Oliver's bookshop.
The drivers of the cars step out into the pitter-patter of the rain, pulling their jackets close around their bodies. They had a tall and well-masculine build as the ladies in the shop twirled in anticipation. They could tell the men were hotties judging from their build and how sophisticated they looked.
One of the cars was a sleek black sports car, illuminated by its haunting headlights and the other was a muddy pickup truck.
As the rain poured down on the quaint cobbled street, two stunningly beautiful men strolled towards the cozy little bookshop. The rain seemed not to concern them in the least, as they laughed and chatted nonchalantly as they made their way through the entrance.
There was an ear-deafening silence as they stepped into the shop. Their beauty was breathtaking, and the people they passed on their seats couldn't help but stop and stare as they walked by. Each man possessed an otherworldly grace, and their chemistry together was electric.
One of the men, who had more sex appeal than the other, walked with his head held high and his piercing blue eyes locked forward with a confident smirk on his face. His dark hair was perfectly styled and his chiselled jawline was the envy of many. As he passed by, bystanders couldn't help but turn their heads, their gazes following him as he walked in slow strides.
His leather jacket hugged his broad shoulders and muscular frame, and the way it hung just right made him appear even more rugged and handsome. Every step he took seemed to have a certain pleasing cadence to it as if he moved with a calm, natural grace.
The other, wore a bored look on his face as his long blonde hair tumbled over his shoulders elegantly, he had the look of a prince one would read in a romantic novel as his strange golden irises scanned through the room and his black coat fluttered against the wind.
"Oh my God what a fucking hottie!" One of the girls present said getting aroused just by staring at the gorgeous strangers. It was as though fate had sent a hot feast for the girls in this town. unknown to them fate had other plans, a sadistic one filled with death and choas.
In the shop, giggling girls huddled together as they pointedly ogled the hot strangers who shared some resemblance, with a closer look one could tell they were brothers, with the dark-haired gorgeous devil being the elder. Their eyes were fixated on them as they sauntered through the room,
"Hello, ladies," The dark-haired man whispered while the girls hung on every word he said, his voice was like velvet, and even the way he breathed seemed attractive. His voice was like an instrument for sex as he swayed his hips seductively with each movement.
As he passed their table, the girls went into a frenzy of whispers, nudging each other excitedly. With every move he made, the girls couldn't help but stare in astonishment. They giggled and gossiped about him, taking turns describing every detail of his flawless appearance.
Sighting the boys a middle-aged bald man walked towards them. He wore a uniform that singled him out from the rest of the crowd.
"Excuse me, fellas, what brings you to town," He had a Southern accent as he placed his hands on his hips. A gun was strapped to his belt as he watched the boys with his piercing blue eyes. He couldn't help but grow suspicious of the boys after all what could two extremely good-looking men possibly want in a little town like hallow grove?
"I take it you're the sheriff," The dark-haired man spoke with a gorgeous grin as though trying to seduce the middle-aged man.
"God damn!' The sheriff couldn't help but admire his beauty which seemed straight out of a woman's wildest wet dream. Was he even human?, he thought
"Yes, I am," He replied
"It's a pleasure to meet you, please call me Lucifer, and this ever-brooding figure next to me is my brother, Lucian," He said earning a furrowed brow from the sheriff and some of the adults, including Alexa In the bookshop.
"Lucifer?, like the devil?,"
"Yes, I mean even the ladies can't deny I'm such a handsome devil that burn like hell,"
The girls continued to gush over him, giddy and restless. They stumbled over their words and found themselves laughing nervously, but they couldn't help it, it was like they were under a spell. The devil's spell. Lucifer's spell.
